- the invention also relates to a safety railing for temporary attachment to scaffolding during erection and/or dismantling of the scaffolding, with the safety railing securing a next scaffolding floor until it is completed or a top scaffolding floor until it is completely dismantled.
- the invention relates to a kit for erecting scaffolding and scaffolding.
- the invention also relates to methods for erecting and dismantling scaffolding.
- the well-known safety railings are attached directly and centrally to the horizontal rails of the top floor, for example hung. It is exemplified on the pamphlets EP 2 501 880 B1 , EP 2 730 718 B1 , EP 2 527 563 B1 and EP 2 180 117 B1 referred.
- a disadvantage of the known safety railings is that handling them is complicated and that the previously known safety railings are only compatible with scaffolding from a specific manufacturer brand.
- FR2748290A1 discloses a safety rail with a mounting adapter.
- the inventor has recognized that a safety railing that can be used flexibly can be provided by means of a mounting adapter, which can be attached to the scaffolding on the one hand and to which the safety railing can be attached on the other hand.
- the mounting adapter can be designed in such a way that the safety railing can be used with scaffolding from various manufacturers. Furthermore, the erection and dismantling of scaffolding is possible with the help of such mounting adapters, to which the safety railing is temporarily attached, without great additional effort.
- two upper vertical rails can be formed in the safety railing that can be used with the assembly adapter, so that the aforementioned safety standard is met.
- the inventor proposes a mounting adapter for the temporary fastening of a safety railing ahead of it on a scaffolding when erecting and/or dismantling the scaffolding.
- the assembly adapter according to the invention is designed on the one hand for temporarily attaching to a vertical beam of the scaffolding and on the other hand for temporarily attaching the safety railing to the assembly adapter.
- at least one receiving unit for receiving fastening elements of a safety railing and at least one fastening device for attaching the assembly adapter to the scaffolding is designed for this purpose.
- the at least one receiving unit and above all the at least one fastening device can advantageously be configured very variably, so that the mounting adapter can be used on scaffolding from various manufacturers.
- the receiving unit is designed as a square tube.
- the square tube is advantageously made of a material that is as stable as possible, such as metal, preferably steel.
- the square tube is preferably manufactured in one piece in order to prevent possible material weaknesses or predetermined breaking points.
- the receiving unit designed as a square tube advantageously has a longitudinal extension along a longitudinal axis that is significantly larger than its diameter.
- the at least one receiving unit has at least two grooves, which are arranged one above the other or one below the other when viewed in the mounted state of the mounting adapter.
- the grooves are advantageously of the same design, in particular of the same length and width.
- the two grooves are preferably arranged one above the other or below one another. This means that the longitudinal extensions or the longitudinal axes of the grooves preferably run in one line.
- the grooves are advantageously elongate or slit-shaped.
- the fastening elements of the safety railing are advantageously received in the grooves of the at least one receiving unit.
- the slit-shaped grooves serve as a kind of guide for the fasteners when hanging.
- a further preferred embodiment therefore provides that the at least two grooves, viewed in the mounted state of the mounting adapter, each have an opening at their upper ends for inserting the fastening elements of the safety railing.
- the fasteners are preferably simply inserted into the grooves from above. Accordingly, the lower, closed ends of the grooves form a stop for the fastening elements.
- the openings of the grooves are arranged on the building side, ie at the rear, when viewed in the assembled state of the assembly adapter.
- the openings are arranged on the outside when the mounting adapter is in the mounted state, that is to say in the front or oriented away from the building.
- Another variant provides for a lateral arrangement of the grooves on the receiving unit.
- exactly one receiving unit is designed to receive fastening elements of a safety railing.
- two receiving units are designed to receive fastening elements from two safety rails.
- Recesses for example, can be formed in the receiving units to save weight.
- Each receiving unit can have two or more grooves. At least two grooves are arranged on one side of a receiving unit. According to a preferred embodiment, each receiving unit has at least one mounting plane in which the grooves extend, the at least one mounting plane being offset laterally and arranged parallel to a fastening axis of the mounting adapter.
- the fastening axis of the mounting adapter corresponds to the vertical beam of the scaffolding to which the mounting adapter is fastened in the mounted state. Accordingly, the fastening axis advantageously runs outside of the receiving unit(s).
- a variant provides that a recording unit has exactly one mounting level. Another variant provides that a recording unit has two or three mounting levels.
- the assembly plane(s) runs/run parallel to an outside of the receiving unit.
- the mounting plane corresponds to an outside of the receiving unit.
- two adjacent receiving units each have a mounting plane, with the mounting planes being aligned parallel to one another.
- adjacent receiving units correspond either to the two receiving units of a mounting adapter or to the two receiving units of two mounting adapters, between or on which a safety railing is attached.
- two adjacent receiving units each have a mounting plane, with these two mounting planes being at an angle to one another.
- a mounting adapter with two mounting levels at an angle to one another is advantageously suitable for attaching a safety railing to scaffolding at a corner of a building.
- the corner of the building can be either an inside corner or an outside corner of the building.
- the mounting planes are preferably at an angle of 90° to one another.
- a design with an angle other than 90° is also within the scope of the invention in order to attach safety rails to scaffolding for buildings with non-rectangular inside and/or outside corners.
- a special embodiment provides that a receiving unit has two assembly planes which are at an angle, preferably at a 90° angle, to one another.
- each receiving unit has at least two grooves, the grooves being arranged in a mounting plane.
- the at least one receiving unit has two grooves in a mounting plane.
- the at least one receiving unit has at least one additional groove in a mounting level.
- a mounting level For example, three or four etc. grooves, but preferably three grooves, are formed in one assembly level.
- a receiving unit has two mounting planes with a different number of grooves, for example two grooves in one mounting plane and three grooves in the other mounting plane.
- the grooves are designed in such a way that a lifting height of the safety railing of at least 15 cm is necessary to detach the fastening elements of the safety railing from the grooves.
- an insertion rail is advantageously formed in each case on a lower region of the opening of the grooves.
- the insertion rail is designed as a type of lip. The lip can, for example, be welded to a metal receiving unit simply at the opening of the groove.
- the mounting adapter according to the invention has at least one fastening device for attaching the mounting adapter to the scaffolding, preferably to a vertical beam of the scaffolding.
- the mounting adapter has more than one attachment device, advantageously two attachment devices.
- a first fastening device is designed as a manually detachable screw clamp connection. Such a connection can advantageously be operated without tools and with one hand.
- a further embodiment provides a further fastening device which is designed as a safety unit which forms a stop on the scaffolding to prevent it from falling down.
- the safety unit is advantageously designed as a type of hook. This hook can be hung, for example, in a gusset plate under a scaffolding floor or in a horizontal beam of the scaffolding.
- the securing unit also advantageously allows the mounting adapter to be attached to the vertical beam at a defined height. Likewise, the mounting adapter using the Safety unit are initially simply hung on the scaffolding to prevent falling, and then be fixed by means of the first fastening device on the vertical beam.
- Yet another embodiment provides at least one additional fastening device, which forms a stop on the scaffolding to prevent lateral slipping.
- the stop is preferably formed at least on a vertical bar to which the mounting adapter is attached.
- lateral slippage can advantageously be prevented during assembly of the assembly adapter.
- a V-shaped, upwardly open groove is formed in the upper area of the assembly adapter, in which advantageously part of the scaffolding, in particular a horizontal beam or a gusset plate, can be positioned during assembly.

- a type of double cheek with a central depression is formed in a lower region of the mounting adapter, with the vertical bar, to which the mounting adapter is fastened, advantageously being positioned in the depression.
- the invention also relates to a safety railing for temporary attachment to scaffolding when erecting and/or dismantling the scaffolding, with the safety railing securing the next scaffolding floor until its completion or the top scaffolding floor until it is completely dismantled, the safety railing is designed in such a way that it can be temporarily fastened to the scaffolding by means of at least one assembly adapter according to the invention and described above.
- the safety railing according to the invention has at least one horizontal rail and two laterally arranged vertical rails, between which the at least one horizontal rail extends, with fastening elements arranged laterally being formed on the vertical rails, which can be used temporarily in the receiving units of the assembly adapters when erecting and dismantling the scaffolding .
- the safety railing is attached to a mounting adapter on both sides.
- the safety rail fasteners are used for this purpose in the receiving units, more precisely in the grooves of the receiving units.
- a preferred embodiment therefore provides that the fastening elements are designed to be essentially complementary to the receiving units, in particular to the grooves on the receiving units.
- the fastening elements are designed in the form of pegs with a thickening at the end, the peg being designed for insertion into the groove.
- the diameter of the pegs is advantageously smaller than the width of the groove in order to allow the pegs to slide as smoothly as possible in the groove.
- the diameter of the pegs is only a few millimeters smaller than the width of the groove in order to avoid unnecessary play, which would lead to instability of the safety rail, but to allow unhindered sliding in the groove.
- the peg advantageously has a thickened portion in order to prevent the peg from being unintentionally pulled out or laterally released from the groove.
- the thickening is advantageously inside the receiving unit.
- the pin-shaped fastening elements with a terminal thickening are designed as mushroom head screws.
- the number of fastening elements per vertical bar preferably corresponds to the number of grooves per receiving unit. In this way, each fastening element for fastening the safety railing to the mounting adapters can be inserted into a groove in order to ensure secure fastening, in particular non-tilting fastening.
- a safety requirement for safety rails is that the fixture must withstand a stroke of at least 15 cm before the safety rail will disengage from the fixture.
- the fastening elements are arranged in the lower area of the vertical rails of the safety railing.
- the safety railing is thus fastened to the mounting adapters in the lower area and then advantageously extends essentially upwards in the direction of the top scaffolding floor to be secured.
- a safety railing must have at least two horizontal rails in the upper area, i.e. as a temporary railing as fall protection for a scaffolder. Accordingly, a preferred embodiment provides that two upper horizontal bars and one lower horizontal bar are formed. The two upper horizontal rails serve as fall protection and form the actual railing, and the lower horizontal rail essentially serves to stabilize the safety railing. For further stabilization of the safety railing and for further fall protection, cross braces can advantageously be formed at least between the two upper horizontal rails.
- At least one handle for inserting the safety railing into the mounting adapter is formed on the lower horizontal bar in an advantageous embodiment.
- the handle is designed, for example, as a U-shaped bar, which is easy to grip.
- a further embodiment of the safety railing provides that the at least one horizontal bar is designed to be telescopic.
- the width of the safety railing can thus advantageously be variably adjusted.
- adjusting elements can be formed on the telescoping horizontal bars, which fix the bars to a specific length or width.
- the at least one telescoping horizontal beam is advantageously connected to the vertical beams via joints. This enables greater variability of the safety railing in use.
- the invention relates to a kit for erecting scaffolding, at least comprising: several scaffolding decks and several vertical and horizontal beams including their connecting elements for erecting several one above the other lying scaffolding floors, at least one safety railing according to the invention as described above, and at least two assembly adapters according to the invention described above for temporarily fastening the safety railing to the scaffolding during erection and/or dismantling.
- the horizontal rails of the kit advantageously form the actual scaffolding railings, which remain permanently on the respective scaffolding floor.
- the invention also relates to scaffolding erected from a kit according to the invention described above. At least one scaffolding level segment is provided for each scaffolding level. In other words, a complete scaffolding level is formed from at least one, advantageously a plurality of scaffolding level segments.
- the respective uppermost scaffolding floor or a respective uppermost scaffolding floor segment is temporarily secured by the safety railing according to the invention until completion, in particular until it is secured with the actual scaffolding railing.
- the erection and dismantling of the scaffolding according to the invention with the safety railings according to the invention is possible either in tiers or in segments.
- the individual process steps of the method according to the invention for erection and dismantling are each described for a scaffolding floor segment and can be repeated in any order and number in order to build up and secure the scaffolding completely and with all scaffolding floor segments.
- the safety railing is attached to the scaffolding from below in such a way that it secures the top scaffolding level, ie the next scaffolding level to be completed. Once the safety railing is in place, the top scaffolding floor can be completed, most notably the actual scaffolding railing can be attached. A scaffolder is therefore never unsecured.
- the top scaffolding level is first dismantled with safety railing down to the scaffolding floor.
- the safety railing can then be lowered one scaffolding level from below, i.e. from the last complete and secured scaffolding level.
- the scaffolder is therefore always secured, even during dismantling.
- the figure 1 shows a schematic perspective view of a mounting adapter 1.
- the mounting adapter 1 comprises two receiving units 10 arranged opposite one another and parallel to one another. Two grooves 11 arranged one below the other are formed on the receiving units 10 in each case.

Furthermore, the previously known temporary safety railings do not meet the TRBS 2121 Part 1 safety standard that has been in force since February 2019. This standard states, among other things, that two horizontal rails must be constructed on the temporary safety railing as fall protection.
It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a safety railing in advance and an alternative way of fastening the safety railing to a scaffolding which solves the problems mentioned above. Furthermore, it is the object of the invention to provide a corresponding scaffolding and method for this.
These objects are solved by the features of the independent patent claims. Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject matter of subordinate claims.
The inventor has recognized that a safety railing that can be used flexibly can be provided by means of a mounting adapter, which can be attached to the scaffolding on the one hand and to which the safety railing can be attached on the other hand. The mounting adapter can be designed in such a way that the safety railing can be used with scaffolding from various manufacturers. Furthermore, the erection and dismantling of scaffolding is possible with the help of such mounting adapters, to which the safety railing is temporarily attached, without great additional effort.
In addition, two upper vertical rails can be formed in the safety railing that can be used with the assembly adapter, so that the aforementioned safety standard is met.
Accordingly, the inventor proposes a mounting adapter for the temporary fastening of a safety railing ahead of it on a scaffolding when erecting and/or dismantling the scaffolding. The assembly adapter according to the invention is designed on the one hand for temporarily attaching to a vertical beam of the scaffolding and on the other hand for temporarily attaching the safety railing to the assembly adapter. Furthermore, at least one receiving unit for receiving fastening elements of a safety railing and at least one fastening device for attaching the assembly adapter to the scaffolding is designed for this purpose.
The at least one receiving unit and above all the at least one fastening device can advantageously be configured very variably, so that the mounting adapter can be used on scaffolding from various manufacturers. In a simple but preferred embodiment, the receiving unit is designed as a square tube. The square tube is advantageously made of a material that is as stable as possible, such as metal, preferably steel. Furthermore, the square tube is preferably manufactured in one piece in order to prevent possible material weaknesses or predetermined breaking points. In addition, the receiving unit designed as a square tube advantageously has a longitudinal extension along a longitudinal axis that is significantly larger than its diameter.
According to the invention, the at least one receiving unit has at least two grooves, which are arranged one above the other or one below the other when viewed in the mounted state of the mounting adapter. The grooves are advantageously of the same design, in particular of the same length and width.
Viewed in the mounted state, the two grooves are preferably arranged one above the other or below one another. This means that the longitudinal extensions or the longitudinal axes of the grooves preferably run in one line. The grooves are advantageously elongate or slit-shaped. The fastening elements of the safety railing are advantageously received in the grooves of the at least one receiving unit. The slit-shaped grooves serve as a kind of guide for the fasteners when hanging.
A further preferred embodiment therefore provides that the at least two grooves, viewed in the mounted state of the mounting adapter, each have an opening at their upper ends for inserting the fastening elements of the safety railing. When attaching the safety rail to the mounting adapters the fasteners are preferably simply inserted into the grooves from above. Accordingly, the lower, closed ends of the grooves form a stop for the fastening elements. In one variant, the openings of the grooves are arranged on the building side, ie at the rear, when viewed in the assembled state of the assembly adapter. In another variant, the openings are arranged on the outside when the mounting adapter is in the mounted state, that is to say in the front or oriented away from the building. Another variant provides for a lateral arrangement of the grooves on the receiving unit.
It is pointed out that any relative location terms used always refer to the mounted state of the mounting adapter or, more extensively, to the fastened state of the safety railing on the scaffolding.
In one embodiment of the mounting adapter, exactly one receiving unit is designed to receive fastening elements of a safety railing.
In another embodiment of the mounting adapter, two receiving units are designed to receive fastening elements from two safety rails.
Recesses, for example, can be formed in the receiving units to save weight.
Each receiving unit can have two or more grooves. At least two grooves are arranged on one side of a receiving unit. According to a preferred embodiment, each receiving unit has at least one mounting plane in which the grooves extend, the at least one mounting plane being offset laterally and arranged parallel to a fastening axis of the mounting adapter. In a preferred embodiment, the fastening axis of the mounting adapter corresponds to the vertical beam of the scaffolding to which the mounting adapter is fastened in the mounted state. Accordingly, the fastening axis advantageously runs outside of the receiving unit(s).
A variant provides that a recording unit has exactly one mounting level. Another variant provides that a recording unit has two or three mounting levels.
Advantageously, the assembly plane(s) runs/run parallel to an outside of the receiving unit. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the mounting plane corresponds to an outside of the receiving unit.
In one embodiment, two adjacent receiving units each have a mounting plane, with the mounting planes being aligned parallel to one another. In principle, adjacent receiving units correspond either to the two receiving units of a mounting adapter or to the two receiving units of two mounting adapters, between or on which a safety railing is attached.
In a further embodiment, two adjacent receiving units each have a mounting plane, with these two mounting planes being at an angle to one another. A mounting adapter with two mounting levels at an angle to one another is advantageously suitable for attaching a safety railing to scaffolding at a corner of a building. The corner of the building can be either an inside corner or an outside corner of the building. In this embodiment, the mounting planes are preferably at an angle of 90° to one another. However, a design with an angle other than 90° is also within the scope of the invention in order to attach safety rails to scaffolding for buildings with non-rectangular inside and/or outside corners.
A special embodiment provides that a receiving unit has two assembly planes which are at an angle, preferably at a 90° angle, to one another.
According to the invention, each receiving unit has at least two grooves, the grooves being arranged in a mounting plane.
According to one embodiment, the at least one receiving unit has two grooves in a mounting plane.
According to a further embodiment, the at least one receiving unit has at least one additional groove in a mounting level. For example, three or four etc. grooves, but preferably three grooves, are formed in one assembly level. Correspondingly, an embodiment is also possible in which a receiving unit has two mounting planes with a different number of grooves, for example two grooves in one mounting plane and three grooves in the other mounting plane.
Another regulation for safety rails states that the safety rail attachment must have a minimum stroke that the safety rail must be able to move upwards without the safety rail attachment loosening. Accordingly, one embodiment provides that the grooves are designed in such a way that a lifting height of the safety railing of at least 15 cm is necessary to detach the fastening elements of the safety railing from the grooves. In other words, the grooves—in the installed state, that is to say with the opening at the top—preferably have a depth or length of at least 15 cm. This value of the minimum depth of the grooves corresponds to the sum of the maximum lifting height of a fastener in the groove and the diameter of the fastener.
Both the mounting adapters are attached to the scaffolding and the safety railings are attached to the mounting adapters manually. In order to facilitate the hanging of the safety railing into the mounting adapter, ie the insertion of the fastening elements into the grooves, an insertion rail is advantageously formed in each case on a lower region of the opening of the grooves. In a simple embodiment, the insertion rail is designed as a type of lip. The lip can, for example, be welded to a metal receiving unit simply at the opening of the groove.
The mounting adapter according to the invention has at least one fastening device for attaching the mounting adapter to the scaffolding, preferably to a vertical beam of the scaffolding. In order to ensure secure attachment, the mounting adapter has more than one attachment device, advantageously two attachment devices.
One embodiment provides that a first fastening device is designed as a manually detachable screw clamp connection. Such a connection can advantageously be operated without tools and with one hand.
A further embodiment provides a further fastening device which is designed as a safety unit which forms a stop on the scaffolding to prevent it from falling down. The safety unit is advantageously designed as a type of hook. This hook can be hung, for example, in a gusset plate under a scaffolding floor or in a horizontal beam of the scaffolding. The securing unit also advantageously allows the mounting adapter to be attached to the vertical beam at a defined height. Likewise, the mounting adapter using the Safety unit are initially simply hung on the scaffolding to prevent falling, and then be fixed by means of the first fastening device on the vertical beam.
Yet another embodiment provides at least one additional fastening device, which forms a stop on the scaffolding to prevent lateral slipping. The stop is preferably formed at least on a vertical bar to which the mounting adapter is attached. As a result, lateral slippage can advantageously be prevented during assembly of the assembly adapter. In one variant, a V-shaped, upwardly open groove is formed in the upper area of the assembly adapter, in which advantageously part of the scaffolding, in particular a horizontal beam or a gusset plate, can be positioned during assembly.
The groove can be formed, for example, on a type of handle or curved stop, which grips around the vertical bar to which the mounting adapter is attached. In another, additional or alternative variant, a type of double cheek with a central depression is formed in a lower region of the mounting adapter, with the vertical bar, to which the mounting adapter is fastened, advantageously being positioned in the depression. Both variants in combination, ie the handle with the groove and the double cheek, preferably enable optimal positioning and securing of the mounting adapter.
The invention also relates to a safety railing for temporary attachment to scaffolding when erecting and/or dismantling the scaffolding, with the safety railing securing the next scaffolding floor until its completion or the top scaffolding floor until it is completely dismantled, the safety railing is designed in such a way that it can be temporarily fastened to the scaffolding by means of at least one assembly adapter according to the invention and described above.
The safety railing according to the invention has at least one horizontal rail and two laterally arranged vertical rails, between which the at least one horizontal rail extends, with fastening elements arranged laterally being formed on the vertical rails, which can be used temporarily in the receiving units of the assembly adapters when erecting and dismantling the scaffolding . Advantageously, the safety railing is attached to a mounting adapter on both sides. The safety rail fasteners are used for this purpose in the receiving units, more precisely in the grooves of the receiving units.
A preferred embodiment therefore provides that the fastening elements are designed to be essentially complementary to the receiving units, in particular to the grooves on the receiving units.
According to the invention, the fastening elements are designed in the form of pegs with a thickening at the end, the peg being designed for insertion into the groove. The diameter of the pegs is advantageously smaller than the width of the groove in order to allow the pegs to slide as smoothly as possible in the groove. Preferably, however, the diameter of the pegs is only a few millimeters smaller than the width of the groove in order to avoid unnecessary play, which would lead to instability of the safety rail, but to allow unhindered sliding in the groove. At the end, that is to say at the ends, the peg advantageously has a thickened portion in order to prevent the peg from being unintentionally pulled out or laterally released from the groove. If the pin is inserted into the groove, the thickening is advantageously inside the receiving unit. For example, the pin-shaped fastening elements with a terminal thickening are designed as mushroom head screws.
The number of fastening elements per vertical bar preferably corresponds to the number of grooves per receiving unit. In this way, each fastening element for fastening the safety railing to the mounting adapters can be inserted into a groove in order to ensure secure fastening, in particular non-tilting fastening.
As noted above, a safety requirement for safety rails is that the fixture must withstand a stroke of at least 15 cm before the safety rail will disengage from the fixture.
- D: width of the groove,
- d: diameter of the pin in the groove,
- h: distance from the top to the bottom pin,
- H: Distance from the top pivot to the top vertical rail, and
- A: Deflection of the railing at the highest point with a load of 30 kg.
In a preferred embodiment, the fastening elements are arranged in the lower area of the vertical rails of the safety railing. The safety railing is thus fastened to the mounting adapters in the lower area and then advantageously extends essentially upwards in the direction of the top scaffolding floor to be secured.
Another safety regulation states that a safety railing must have at least two horizontal rails in the upper area, i.e. as a temporary railing as fall protection for a scaffolder.
In order to enable easy handling of the safety railing, at least one handle for inserting the safety railing into the mounting adapter is formed on the lower horizontal bar in an advantageous embodiment. The handle is designed, for example, as a U-shaped bar, which is easy to grip.
A further embodiment of the safety railing provides that the at least one horizontal bar is designed to be telescopic. The width of the safety railing can thus advantageously be variably adjusted. Optionally, adjusting elements can be formed on the telescoping horizontal bars, which fix the bars to a specific length or width. Furthermore, the at least one telescoping horizontal beam is advantageously connected to the vertical beams via joints. This enables greater variability of the safety railing in use.
In addition, the invention relates to a kit for erecting scaffolding, at least comprising: several scaffolding decks and several vertical and horizontal beams including their connecting elements for erecting several one above the other lying scaffolding floors, at least one safety railing according to the invention as described above, and at least two assembly adapters according to the invention described above for temporarily fastening the safety railing to the scaffolding during erection and/or dismantling. The horizontal rails of the kit advantageously form the actual scaffolding railings, which remain permanently on the respective scaffolding floor.
The invention also relates to scaffolding erected from a kit according to the invention described above. At least one scaffolding level segment is provided for each scaffolding level. In other words, a complete scaffolding level is formed from at least one, advantageously a plurality of scaffolding level segments. The respective uppermost scaffolding floor or a respective uppermost scaffolding floor segment is temporarily secured by the safety railing according to the invention until completion, in particular until it is secured with the actual scaffolding railing.
The erection and dismantling of the scaffolding according to the invention with the safety railings according to the invention is possible either in tiers or in segments. The individual process steps of the method according to the invention for erection and dismantling are each described for a scaffolding floor segment and can be repeated in any order and number in order to build up and secure the scaffolding completely and with all scaffolding floor segments.
- Attaching a scaffolding deck of a next upper scaffolding level segment to already erected vertical beams of a last secured scaffolding level segment,
- Attaching a mounting adapter to two adjacent vertical bars that have already been erected,
- inserting a safety rail into the two mounting adapters to protect the next upper scaffolding tier segment from the last secured scaffolding tier segment,
- Completing the top scaffolding tier segment including setting up a scaffolding railing between the uprights, and
- Repeat the above process steps as needed.
According to the invention, the safety railing is attached to the scaffolding from below in such a way that it secures the top scaffolding level, ie the next scaffolding level to be completed. Once the safety railing is in place, the top scaffolding floor can be completed, most notably the actual scaffolding railing can be attached. A scaffolder is therefore never unsecured.
- Attaching a mounting adapter to two adjacent vertical bars below the last secured scaffolding tier segment,
- inserting the safety railing from the last secured scaffolding floor segment,
- Removal of the scaffolding railings and the scaffolding deck and, if present, the vertical bars of the top scaffolding tier segment, and
- Repeat the above process steps as needed.
When dismantling, according to the invention, the top scaffolding level is first dismantled with safety railing down to the scaffolding floor. The safety railing can then be lowered one scaffolding level from below, i.e. from the last complete and secured scaffolding level. The scaffolder is therefore always secured, even during dismantling.
