Definitions
- the invention relates to a passenger door designed as a pivoting sliding door for public transport vehicles, in particular for buses and trains.
- a pivoting sliding door according to the invention can be designed as a single-leaf or double-leaf passenger door, i.e. can have one or two door leaves.
- Such passenger doors are known per se and are used, for example, in EP 1 314 626 A1 , DE 20 2005 015 168 U1 and EP 1 527 975 B1 described.
- pivoting sliding doors are moved out of the door portal transversely to the vehicle's longitudinal axis, followed by a longitudinal displacement of the door portal parallel to the outer wall in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
- the drive of the door leaf and the realization of this movement sequence is carried out, for example, by moving or non-moving drive devices, preferably electric motors.
- the EN 101 16 580 A1 discloses a pivoting sliding door for rail vehicles with at least one door leaf, which is guided horizontally in the upper region in a guide which is fixed to the car body and has a curved section at the beginning and a straight section thereafter, and with at least one drive means arranged on the door leaf, which is in positive engagement with a pivoting gear mounted on a shaft, which is driven by a stationary drive motor in order to push the rear edge of the door leaf out of the side wall plane or pull it into it by a transverse movement and to bring about the required longitudinal displacement of the door leaf parallel to the vehicle outer wall, and a locking and unlocking device for the door leaf.
- the drive element attached to the door leaf has a straight section from the front to the rear of the door leaf and an adjoining, right-angled, horizontally extending initial section pointing towards the door leaf, which is in positive engagement with the outer pinion of the swivel gear, whereby the rotational movement of the pinion along the curved initial section enables the rear edge of the door leaf to be moved transversely from the side wall plane into the sliding position and the swivel gear executes a swivel movement around the drive shaft in a clockwise direction by an angle of rotation of approx. 90° from an initial position running almost parallel to the longitudinal center axis of the vehicle to the end position determined by a stop.
- the EP 0 536 528 A1 discloses a device for moving a pivoting sliding door for vehicles for transporting people, in particular rail vehicles, the door leaf of which can be moved in its longitudinal direction on a guide element which, as part of a four-bar linkage, can be moved transversely to the plane of the door leaf, wherein the longitudinal movement of the door leaf is coordinated with the transverse movement by a guide rail which is firmly connected to the door frame and into which a guide means firmly connected to the door leaf engages and in which the output force of a drive device acts on the door leaf in the direction of the guide element.
- the reaction force of the drive device exerts a torque on a spreading element arranged between the guide element and a support part connected to the door frame, which torque causes a force acting on the guide element in a direction substantially normal to the guide element to generate the transverse movement.
- the EP 0 312 450 A1 discloses a pivoting sliding door with a fixed frame and at least one sliding door leaf, movable between a closed position in which this leaf extends in the frame approximately in a closed plane, and an open position, the leaf being connected to guide means connected to the frame to give the leaf, on the one hand, a transverse movement to the frame so that the leaf is inserted transversely into the frame when moving to the closed position and it is released transversely from the frame when moving to the open position, and on the other hand, at least in the vicinity of the open position, a sliding movement which takes place approximately parallel to the closed plane, characterized in that a front edge of the leaf which guides during the closing movement and a post connected to the frame have interlocking means which ensure that the leaf is retained against transverse forces when the leaf is in the closed position, these interlocking means being mutually insertable and removable from one another by a relative movement which corresponds to that of the front edge of the leaf with respect to the frame in the vicinity of the closed position.
- the invention is based on the object of creating a pivoting sliding door which, on the one hand, requires only a small installation space, but on the other hand has large load-bearing capacities and optimal guidance.
- the structure should be simple, cost-effective and easy to maintain.
- the invention is described below using a single-leaf passenger door, but it also includes two or more-leaf passenger doors.
- the pivoting-sliding door is located on the side of the vehicle, i.e. can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. It is expressly pointed out that the pivoting-sliding door according to the invention can also be arranged on the transverse sides of the vehicle.
- the basic idea of the invention is to mount the door leaf on a rotating column at the side rather than hanging above the door portal as is usual. This results in a much simpler construction with a much more favorable weight distribution. Furthermore, the drive arranged above the door portal can be completely or at least largely dispensed with.
- the door leaf is pivotably mounted on the rotary column via at least one door leaf bearing, and the rotary column can be rotated via a rotary column drive.
- the rotary column can be rotated via a rotary column drive.
- two door leaf bearings are provided, one in the lower and one in the upper area of the door leaf.
- the movement sequence takes place in two movement sections.
- the door leaf is moved in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, parallel to the vehicle's outer wall.
- a longitudinal drive is provided for the second movement section, which has a drive unit with a drive means that interacts with a drive element arranged on the door leaf.
- the drive element attached to the door leaf is formed by a longitudinally extending rack into which the drive means of the drive unit, designed as a pinion, engages.
- the drive unit has an electric motor that drives the pinion.
- the rotary movement of the pinion leads to a longitudinal displacement of the door leaf.
- the drive unit can travel on the door leaf, but it can also be fixed to the door portal.
- two racks are provided in the door leaf, each of which is engaged by a pinion. If technically feasible, more than two drive elements can also be provided.
- the rotation of the pinions is synchronized, the two pinions are mechanically coupled.
- the two pinions are connected to each other via a rotating rod.
- the drive shaft has both pinions.
- the pinions can be firmly connected to the drive shaft or formed from it in one piece. This ensures that the door leaf is always driven in a synchronized manner via both drive elements and cannot jam, which ensures reliable door operation and low wear.
- the drive shaft is driven by an electric motor, which drives the drive shaft directly or, for example, via a belt drive.
- each drive means for example in the form of an electric motor, or a single electric motor drives both or all drive means together.
- the guide, the drive and the drive element can, for example, be located above the door leaf. It is also conceivable that the guide is located above the door leaf and the drive and the drive element are located in the lower area. The arrangement can also be the other way round.
- the door leaf is driven in the longitudinal direction via a drive shaft which is rotatably mounted in the door leaf bearings and has two pinions which engage in corresponding racks which are fixed to the top and bottom of the door leaf.
- a motor bearing is rotatably mounted on the drive shaft, in which the electric motor is arranged, which drives the drive shaft and thus the two pinions.
- a locking lever is also mounted on the drive shaft and is rotatably connected to the motor bearing via a locking shaft.
- the locking lever is also rotatably connected via a lever shaft to a lever which is rotatably connected to a holding bracket via a holding bracket shaft.
- the holding bracket is firmly connected to the vehicle.
- the lever and the locking lever form an over-center position, which locks the engine mount and thus the door system.
- the movement in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is blocked by a guide unit.
- the over-dead center position is first removed by rotating the motor housing.
- the motor housing is driven by the electric motor, which cannot move the door in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle because it is blocked by the guide unit.
- all Locking elements can be rotated again so that the door leaf can be moved and opened.
- the door leaf is first swung out by turning the rotating column and then unlocked by the electric motor and moved lengthways. If the door leaf is closed, the movements are reversed.
- a significant advantage of the invention is that the longitudinal drive does not have to bear any load and only moves the door leaf.
- the load of the door leaf is taken up by the rotating column, the door leaf hangs on the rotating column, so to speak.
- the usual support arm can be omitted.
- the drive units and drive elements can be designed to be relatively simple and light.
- the longitudinal drive can be arranged above the door leaf in the door portal as usual, but takes up significantly less installation space there. It can also be advantageously positioned to the side of the door portal.
- the rotary column is driven by a different drive than the longitudinal displacement of the door leaf. This means that both drives can be relatively small and have lower power. In another variant of the invention, it is also possible to use just one drive for the entire movement sequence.
- the longitudinal drive is then formed by the rotary column itself. The rotary column then not only causes the first movement section, i.e. the swinging out of the door portal, but also the second movement section, i.e. the longitudinal displacement of the door, through further rotation.
- Figure 1 shows a first variant of a pivoting sliding door 20 according to the invention in a side view along the vehicle's longitudinal axis and in a top view along the vehicle's transverse axis.
- vehicle coordinate system usually used in vehicle production which is also shown in Figure 1 is drawn in. Accordingly, the vehicle's longitudinal axis extends in the x-direction, the vehicle's transverse axis in the y-direction and the vehicle's vertical axis in the z-direction.
- a door leaf 22 is pivotably mounted on a rotating column 24 via door leaf bearings 26.
- the rotating column 24 thus supports the door leaf 22.
- the rotating column 24 is rotatably mounted in a vehicle portal (not shown) via an upper rotating column bearing 28 and a lower rotating column bearing 30.
- each guide bearing 34 is indirectly or directly pivotably connected to the rotary column 24 so that in a first movement section the door leaf 22 can first be pivoted out of the door portal in the transverse direction of the vehicle (y-direction) and then moved in the x-direction.
- the drive of the door leaf 22 is located in the upper area of the door portal, but alternatively it can also be provided in the lower area.
- Figure 2 shows a drive not according to the invention.
- a spindle 36 can be seen which acts as a drive means and drives a spindle nut 38 acting as a drive element.
- the spindle 36 extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and is firmly connected to the vehicle portal.
- the spindle nut is connected to the door leaf 22 via a guide arm 40 extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle.
- the spindle 36 is driven by an electric motor 42 which, in the embodiment shown, causes the spindle 36 to rotate via a belt 46.
- the guide element is a guide track 46, designed as a J-shaped curved track, the curved section of which leads from the transverse direction of the vehicle into the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and the straight section of which runs in the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
- a guide roller 48 projects into the guide track 46 and is guided in it. In the embodiment shown, the guide roller 48 is also rotatably mounted on the guide arm 40.
- the pivotability of the door leaf bearing 26 is ensured by a pivot joint 50. If the rotary column 24 rotates about its vertical axis, an intermediate element 52 is carried along, which is firmly connected to the rotary column 24. A door leaf element 54 connected to the intermediate element 52 is also moved, but can be pivoted due to the pivot joint 50. After the first movement section, which leads out of the door portal, the door leaf 22 can then be moved lengthwise.
- FIG 3 shows an embodiment variant of the invention according to the invention.
- the drive of the door leaf 22 is carried out via racks 56, which act as a drive element and are arranged in the upper and lower areas, advantageously as close as possible to the guide rods 32 of the door leaf 22.
- a drive shaft 70 which runs parallel to the rotary column 24 and is rotatably mounted in the door leaf bearings 26.
- the drive shaft 70 has two gear wheels 72 (see also in particular Figure 8 ), each of which rolls in one of the two toothed racks 56 and thereby moves the door leaf 22 longitudinally.
- the gears thus act as a drive means.
- the drive shaft 70 is firmly connected to the two gears 72, the drive energy is transmitted synchronously to the door leaf 22 at two points. Tilting of the door leaf is thus prevented.
- a motor bearing 74 is also mounted on the drive shaft 70, which accommodates the electric motor 42.
- the electric motor 42 drives the upper gear 72 directly.
- two electric motors 42 can be provided, each of which drives one of the two gears 72.
- the electric motors 72 are then not mechanically connected to one another, but are synchronized, for example, via control software.
- FIG. 4 clarifies the connection of the door leaf 22 to the rotary column 24. It can be seen that the swinging out of the door leaf 22 takes place via the intermediate element 52, which is firmly connected to the rotary column 24, and the door leaf bearing 26 or the door leaf element 54, which is rotatably mounted on the intermediate element via a rotary bearing 58.
- the door leaf bearing 26 is mounted on a guide rod 32 so that it can be moved longitudinally.
- FIGS. 5 and 6 illustrate a preferred locking unit according to the invention for the pivoting sliding door 20.
- a locking lever 58 is mounted on the drive shaft 70 below the intermediate element 52, which in turn a locking shaft 60 is rotatably connected to the motor mount 74.
- the locking lever 58 is approximately V-shaped and accordingly has a first arm 78 and a second arm 80.
- the locking shaft 60 runs through the first arm 78, the second arm 80 is rotatably connected to a lever 62 with its free end via a connecting shaft 82.
- the lever 62 which is straight in the embodiment shown, is connected to a retaining bracket 66 with its opposite end via a retaining bracket shaft 64.
- Figure 6 illustrates a guide unit 68 in connection with a stop means 84, which is located in the area of the door leaf 22.
- the stop means 84 contacts a roller 86 to trigger the locking.
- An approximately triangular guide lever 90 (shown in dashed lines) carries the roller 86 and is rotatably mounted on a linear lever 92 arranged underneath.
- the over-dead center position w is removed by the rotation of the motor housing 74, driven by the electric motor 42, which cannot move the door leaf 22 blocked in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. After all locking elements can be rotated again, the opening movement of the door leaf 22 begins, starting from the electric motor 42.
- FIGS. 7 and 8 show the essential elements of the pivoting sliding door 20 according to the invention in a perspective view. It is clearly visible that the invention leads to a very space-saving construction, which does not require any space above the curved track when the door leaf 22 is installed. All drive and locking components are arranged laterally with a door opening, in the area of the rotating column 24. The otherwise usual construction above the door opening can be completely omitted, the rotating column 24 bears the essential load of the construction.
