- the concentrate may comprise from 0.5 to 40% by weight, preferably from 2 to 30% by weight, and in particular from 5 to 25% by weight of the polyelectrolye (e.g. the polyacid, like acrylic acid copolymers, or AMPS copolymers).
- Suitable adjuvants are compounds which have negligible or even no pesticidal activity themselves, and which improve the biological performance of the pesticide on the target. Examples are surfactants, mineral or vegetable oils, and other auxilaries. Further examples are listed by Knowles, Adjuvants and Additives, Agrow Reports DS256, T&F Informa UK, 2006, chapter 5 .
- Suitable bactericides are bronopol and isothiazolinone derivatives such as alkylisothiazolinones and benzisothiazolinones.
- Suitable antifreeze agents are ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, urea and glycerol.

- each prepared EC formulation was placed in a refrigerator at -10 °C. After 3 days storage in the refrigerator, the formulations were seeded with the respective pesticide crystals (less than 0.1 g/l). Twelve days after seeding the samples were observed for the crystallization of pesticide. Samples which did not show any crystals other than the added seed crystals were marked “Stable”. Samples which showed crystals other than the added seed crystals were marked "Crystals”.
- the test machine was a hydraulic sprayer with a 195 l tank, a four-piston membrane pump (at 3 bar pressure) and a spraying lance with 6 standard nozzles (type: LU 90-03).
- Nozzle filtersused were four mesh filters (25, 50, 60, and 80 mesh), a 60-mesh mesh filter with integrated seal, and a 25-mesh slot filter.
- the suction filter and the pressure filter were each 50-mesh mesh filters.
- the tank was first filled with 75 l of water and thereafter one liter of an emulsifiable concentrate.
- the mixture was mixed with a piston pump (stirring intensity: 45 l/min) and subsequently the tank was filled up with a further 75 l of water. After pumped circulation for 120 minutes (stirring 5 intensity: 45 l/min) of the product mixture, the spray solution was sprayed out of the tank through the nozzles. During the test, the temperature of the spray mixture in the tank was kept constant at between 5 and 10°C in order to simulate cold well water. The delivery test was repeated 4 times without cleaning the instruments between each application.
- the emulsifiable concentrates of Pesticide A were prepared by mixing the components as indicated in Table 2 (where each composition contained 10 g/l AS1, 40 g/l NS1, 50 g/l NS2, 200 g/l NS3, and 100 g/l Polymer A).

The samples were tested for "Active Solubility", “Applicability” and “Cold Stability” as described in Example 1.

Claims (14)
- Emulsionskonzentrat, umfassend ein wasserunlösliches Pestizid, wobei das Pestizid bei 25°C zu nicht mehr als 1 g/l in Wasser löslich ist,
ein Amid der Formel (I)
R1-C(O)N(R2)2 (I),
wobei R1 für C5-C19-Alkyl steht und R2 für Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Butyl oder Mischungen davon steht, und
ein Lactamid der Formel (II)
H3C-CH(OH)-C(O)N(R3)2 (II),
wobei R3 für Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Butyl oder Mischungen davon steht,
wobei das Konzentrat Folgendes umfasst:
15 Gew.-% bis 65 Gew.-% des Amids der Formel (I) und 1 Gew.-% bis 30 Gew.-% des Lactamids der Formel (II), wobei die Summe der Mengen dieser Komponenten 16 bis 90 Gew.-% beträgt. - Konzentrat nach Anspruch 1, wobei R1 für C8-C14-Alkyl steht.
- Konzentrat nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei R1 für C7-C13-Alkyl steht.
- Konzentrat nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei R2 in Formel (I) für Methyl steht.
- Konzentrat nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei R3 in Formel (II) für Methyl steht.
- Konzentrat nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, welches weiterhin einen Kohlenwasserstoff umfasst.
- Konzentrat nach Anspruch 6, welches 2 bis 45 Gew.-% an Kohlenwasserstoff umfasst.
- Konzentrat nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis des Amids der Formel (I) zum Lactamid der Formel (II) im Bereich von 1:2 bis 15:1 liegt.
- Konzentrat nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis des Amids der Formel (I) zum Lactamid der Formel (II) im Bereich von 1:1 bis 13:1 liegt.
- Konzentrat nach Anspruch 1, umfassend 15 bis 65 Gew.-% an Amid der Formel (I), 1 bis 30 Gew.-% an Lactamid der Formel (II) und 5 bis 40 Gew.-% eines Kohlenwasserstoffs, wobei die Summe der Mengen dieser Komponenten 16 bis 90 Gew.-% beträgt.
- Emulsionskonzentrat nach Anspruch 1, umfassend die wasserunlöslichen Pestizide Fluxapyroxad, Difenoconazol und Propiconazol.
- Verfahren zur Herstellung des Konzentrats nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10 durch Mischen des wasserunlöslichen Pestizids, des Amids der Formel (I), des Lactamids der Formel (II) und gegebenenfalls des Kohlenwasserstoffs.
- Emulsion, erhalten durch Mischen von Wasser mit dem wie in einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10 definierten Emulsionskonzentrat.
- Verfahren zur Bekämpfung phytopathogener Pilze oder unerwünschten Pflanzenwuchses oder zur Regulierung des Wachstums von Pflanzen, bei dem man das Konzentrat nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10 oder die Emulsion nach Anspruch 13 auf den Boden oder auf die unerwünschten Pflanzen oder auf die Kulturpflanzen oder ihre Umgebung einwirken lässt, wobei die therapeutische Behandlung von Menschen und Tieren von diesem Verfahren ausgeschlossen ist.
