- the proposed method can also prevent incorrectly installed monitoring systems, for example not completely connected to the monitoring device
- Components of the lift system are reinstalled, replaced or serviced.
- the method proposed here can therefore take place in the case of a newly installed elevator installation before its first release, or else in an already existing elevator installation on which an installation, that is, for example, an exchange of a component, has taken place.
- Elevator installation for which the elevator installation is approved and / or designed. An installation operation or a maintenance operation of an elevator installation is accordingly not an intended operation in the sense of this method.
- the method comprises at least two or at least three or at least four or five of the verification steps a) to e).
- Elevator installation and its monitoring system whereby a sequence of checking steps is freely selectable.
- the verification step a) may be performed first, followed by the verification step b), followed by the verification step c).

- the area has a lower limit, which corresponds to an electrical resistance of a tension member or a plurality of interconnected Ziiglust having a first length which is smaller than a length of Ziig didactic, and the area has an upper limit, which electrical resistance of a tension member or more Ziiglust interconnected with each other with a second length which is greater than a length of the tension members corresponds.
- the implementation of the verification step c) has the advantage that false suspension elements installed in the elevator installation, for example suspension elements which are too long or too short or also suspension means with not provided tension members, can be detected.
- electrical resistances which are connected to the monitoring device instead of suspension means, can be detected.
- a gross defect of the tension members of a suspension means can be detected, such as a broken or heavily damaged tension members.
- the first length is more than 40%, preferably more than 60%, particularly preferably more than 80% of the length of the tensile carriers, and the second length is less than 250%, preferably less than 167%, particularly preferably less than 125% of the length of the tension members.
- the first threshold value is less than 15%, particularly preferably less than 10%, particularly preferably less than 5%, of an average or predetermined electrical resistance of the tensile carrier or of one another interconnected tension member.
- the implementation of the verification step d) has the advantage that damage to a suspension means can be detected in a reliable manner. It occurs, for example, the case that support means are stored in a pit before installing them. If water accumulates in this pit, it may cause rust damage to the tension members of the suspension element. Such rust damage to the tension members change the electrical properties of the tension members.
- Verification step d) such deviations of the electrical properties of the individual tensile carriers can be reliably detected.
- defective suspension means in an elevator system reach the intended operation of the elevator installation.
- the second threshold value is less than 15%, preferably less than 10%, particularly preferably less than 5%, of an average or predetermined electrical resistance of the tension member or of the tension members connected to one another.
- the verification step e) is similar to the verification step d), a
- Verification steps d) and e) can be done in different ways. For example, a direct comparison of the electrical resistances of two traction carriers under review can take place. Alternatively, a deviation of a tension member from an average of a group of Switzerlandträgem be determined, in a further embodiment, a deviation from an electrical resistance of a tension member to a predetermined value. Depending on the design of the Elevator installation and specification of the verification process can be selected here a suitable variant.
- At least one suspension element is installed or maintained in the elevator installation during installation.
- Such a method has the advantage that newly installed suspension means or exchanged suspension means can be checked before the elevator installation is released for the intended operation.
- Monitoring device serviced or installed Such a method has the advantage that after work on the monitoring device, the monitoring system can be checked before the elevator system is released for the intended operation.
- the method disclosed here for checking a monitoring system in an elevator installation can be used in different types of elevator installations.
- elevator systems with or without shaft, with or without counterweight, or elevator systems with different gear ratios can be used.
