Definitions
- the present invention relates to a primary support beam for slab formwork or the like, and more particularly relates to a primary support beam with adjustable length.
- the document US 2,167,413A describes a temporary support beam in the field of construction, the length of which can be adjusted.
- the primary purpose of this document is however to allow a withdrawal of the beam perpendicular to the supported surface once there is no longer need for support.
- the beam has two sections that are not permanently maintained colinear and sliding between them. Furthermore, when the two sections are kept collinear with each other, this maintenance is performed by locking means which then oppose sliding of the sections relative to each other.
- the document CN 202 441 051 U describes a support beam constituted by two sections arranged to slide between them. This sliding is allowed by a complementarity of the cross sections of the sections. These sections are, however, devoid of means for satisfactory attachment of other beams called "secondary". Moreover, the attachment of secondary beams is neither described nor suggested. On the contrary, the realization of a platform or slab formwork structure is made by intercrossing beams.
- a primary support beam for the construction of slabs by formwork.
- This primary beam has an adjustable length through two elements slidably mounted one in the other. To do this, one of the elements has a cross section much lower than the other elements, so as to be received and contained in the latter.
- the primary beam of the document US 2006/0042179 A1 has no means for attaching secondary beams over its entire length, especially when it is deployed at maximum length. This beam is therefore difficult to use as primary support beam for slab formwork or the like.
- the formwork of a slab or the like indeed requires the joining to each other of a plurality of primary beams and a plurality of secondary beams serving as spacers between said primary beams.
- the document EP 2 754 778 A1 discloses a primary support beam according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the beam of the document EP 2 754 778 A1 has the disadvantage of being devoid of means allowing the attachment of secondary beams over its entire length, especially when it is deployed at maximum length.
- a problem proposed by the invention is to provide a primary support beam for slab formwork or the like, having an adjustable length in order to reduce the number of primary beam references to be held in stock by the slab formwork material supplier. similar.
- the invention aims to provide a primary beam whose adjustability in length does not interfere with a satisfactory attachment of secondary beams for the formation of a support structure for slab formwork or the like.
- the invention provides a primary support beam according to claim 1.
- Such a primary support beam is adjustable in length to comply with the different dimensions of slabs to form.
- the respective lateral chutes of reception of the first section and second section allow a satisfactory attachment of secondary beams along the first and second sections by a vertical support and an opposition to any axial displacement away from the first longitudinal direction.
- the respective lateral chutes receiving the first section and second section having a permanent overlap there are continuous lateral chutes on each side of the primary support beam: it is thus possible to hang secondary beams along the entire length support primary beam, without interruption.
- stop means can limit the sliding of the first and second sections away from each other, to define a maximum extension position.
- the longitudinal rib and the longitudinal groove may be shaped so that the longitudinal groove receives the longitudinal rib retentive to oppose any extraction of the longitudinal rib out of the longitudinal groove during an extraction movement exerted in a direction transverse to the first longitudinal direction.
- the slide means of simple and robust constitution, thus also participate in mutual retention between the first and second sections to limit the risk of accidental dismantling of the primary support beam.
- the slide means are enclosed between the two U inverted and thus protected against shocks and liquid flows (such as concrete milt) that could distort or seize the slide means.
- the locking means make it possible to fix temporarily but reliably the total length of the primary support beam, for good stability and good rigidity of the slab formwork structure or the like.
- the primary support beam thus consists of only two sections arranged to slide. Its length adjustment is thus faster and easier than a primary support beam consisting of three or more sections.
- the primary support beam thus has a continuous upper bearing surface when the first and second sections are in the folded position.
- the lateral receiving chutes are slidably arranged one inside the other.
- the upper bearing surface support secondary beams generally receives plywood support plates on which is poured the concrete slab. When a plate is supported by non-coplanar beams, it deforms and the slab thus produced follows the deformed surface of the plate and therefore lacks flatness. It is therefore important that the plywood plates are supported by beams whose upper faces are at the same height, to achieve a rigorously flat bottom face concrete slab.
- the support primary beam 1 for slab formwork or the like, extending in a first longitudinal direction II.
- the support primary beam 1 comprises a first section 2 and a second section 3 respectively extending in a second longitudinal direction II-II and in a third longitudinal direction III-III.
- the first and second sections 2 and 3 are arranged to slide relative to each other in the first longitudinal direction II by means of slide 4.
- the longitudinal directions II, II-II and III-III are here parallel.
- the first section 2 and second section 3 are thus movable between a folding position ( figure 1 ), in which the overlap of one section by the other is the largest, and at least one extension position ( figure 2 ), in which the overlap of a section 2 or 3 by the other is less than in the folded position.
- each side on the first and second sections 2 and 3 there is provided respective lateral receiving chutes 2a and 2b, 3a and 3b secondary support beam.
- the receiving side chute 3a slides inside the receiving side chute 2a, while the receiving side chute 3b slides inside the receiving side chute 2b.
- the respective lateral receiving troughs 3a and 3b of the second section 3 have a permanent overlap with respect to the respective lateral receiving troughs 2a and 2b of the first section 2 in the first longitudinal direction II.
- the lateral receiving troughs 2a and 3a thus form a substantially continuous lateral trough 1a on a first side of the primary support truss 1, while the lateral receiving chutes 2b and 3b form a substantially continuous receiving trough 1b on a second side of the primary support beam 1.
- the respective lateral receiving troughs 2a, 2b, 3a and 3b of the first and second sections 2 and 3 each comprise a lateral flange 20a, 20b, 30a and 30b adapted to receive in vertical support a connecting structure 5 of a secondary truss support 6 ( Figures 6 to 8 ).
- the lateral wings 20a and 20b on the one hand, and the wings 30a and 30b on the other hand, extend apart from each other and away from the first longitudinal direction II.
- each lateral wing 20a, 20b, 30a and 30b extends a respective lateral edge 23a, 23b, 33a and 33b opposing any axial displacement (according to movements illustrated by the arrows M1 and M2 on the figure 5 ) away from the first longitudinal direction II of the connection structure 5 of the secondary support beam 6 ( Figures 6 to 8 ).
- the Lateral edges 23a, 23b, 33a and 33b extend towards the bearing surface 100 of the primary support beam 1 for supporting a load.
- the lateral wing 20a is distant from the lateral wing 30a by a distance d ( figure 5 ) between about 4 mm and about 10 mm.
- the lateral wing 20b is distant from the lateral wing 30b by a distance d of between about 4 mm and about 10 mm.
- Stop means 7, more particularly visible on the figures 2 and 4 limit the sliding of the first and second sections 2 and 3 away from each other in the first longitudinal direction II.
- the stop means 7 define the maximum extension position of the primary supporting beam 1.
- the abutment means 7 also prevent any accidental separation of the first and second sections 2 and 3 of the primary supporting beam 1.
- the abutment means 7 comprise a threaded rod 8 fixed in the first longitudinal direction II relative to the first section 2.
- the threaded rod 8 is provided with a hexagonal head 9 at one end, and a handle 10 at its end. other end. Between these two ends, the threaded rod 8 passes through the second section 3 through an oblong hole 11 and passes through two circular orifices 12a and 12b provided in the first section 2.
- the threaded rod 8 is engaged in a threaded nut 13 which is fixed with respect to the first section 2. The maximum extension position is reached when the end 11a of the oblong hole 11 comes into contact with the threaded rod 8.
- the threaded rod 8 provided with its hexagonal head 9 and its handle 10, defines, by cooperation with the threaded nut 13, locking means 14 making it possible to immobilize the first and second sections 2 and 3. one relative to the other in the first longitudinal direction II.
- the handle 10 is rotated around the fourth axial direction IV-IV so as to move the threaded rod 8 (by cooperation with the threaded nut 13 according to the movement illustrated by the arrow 15).
- the hexagonal head 9 and the threaded nut 13 then come to clamp the first and second sections 2 and 3 against each other to immobilize them relative to each other.
- the handle 10 is rotated around the fourth axial direction IV-IV so as to cause a movement of the threaded rod 8 reverse to that illustrated by the arrow 15.
- the hexagonal head 9 then departs the second section 3 which, no longer pressed against the first section 2, can slide in the first longitudinal direction II.
- the longitudinal ribs 16a and 16b and the longitudinal grooves 17a and 17b are shaped so that the longitudinal grooves 17a and 17b respectively receive the longitudinal ribs 16a and 16b retentively.
- This retention opposes any extraction of the longitudinal ribs 16a and 16b from the longitudinal grooves 17a and 17b during an extraction movement exerted in a transverse direction relative to the first longitudinal direction I-I.
- longitudinal ribs 16a and 16b having cross sections with outer contour extending angularly over more than 180 °.
- the longitudinal grooves 17a and 17b have cross sections shaped to receive the longitudinal ribs 16a and 16b in an inner contour according to an overlap R extending angularly at an angle A of more than 180 °.
- the primary support beam 1 illustrated on the figure 5 comprises first and second sections 2 and 3 respectively comprising a first profile 200 and a second profile 300 partially nested one inside the other sliding in the first longitudinal direction II.
- first and second profiles 200 and 300 each have a free end 18 and / or 19 having a hooking nose 20 intended to cooperate with a support stay (in this case, intended to bear vertically on an end plate of a support stay in a manner comparable to that illustrated on the figure 4 of the document EP 1 234 929 A1 ).
- the first section 2 comprises a substantially inverted U-shaped portion U2 with two branches U20 and U21 connected by a base U22.
- the second section 3 comprises a portion U3 substantially inverted U-shaped cross section, with two branches U30 and U31 connected by a base U32.
- the slide means 4 here constituted by the longitudinal ribs 16a and 16b and the longitudinal grooves 17a and 17b, are arranged between the two portions U2 and U3 with a substantially inverted U-shaped cross-section at the U22 and U32 bases of the U-shaped members. reversed.
- the slide means 4 are thus well protected against external elements (shocks, debris, liquids, ...) that can lead to deformation or seizure.
- a protection profile 21 is provided ( figure 3 ) extending from a joining profile 22 and inside the second profile 300.
- the joining profile 22 is disposed at the free end 18 of the first section 2 and carries the attachment nose 20.
- the joining profile 22 has a cross section identical to the cross section of the second profile 300, and is arranged to continuously extend the second profile 300 when the first and second sections 2 and 3 are in the folded position (see figure 1 ).
- each lateral receiving chute 2a and 2b of the first section 2 comprises a lateral covering wing 24a and 24b transversely covering at least partially the lateral edges 33a and 33b of the lateral receiving chutes 3a and 3b of the second section 3.
- connection structure 5 when the connecting structure 5 is located simultaneously in correspondence of the lateral receiving trough 2a of the first section 2 and of the lateral receiving trough 3a of the second section 3, the connection structure 5 simultaneously bears in vertical abutment on the side wing 30a receiving lateral chute 3a of the second section 3 and on the lateral covering wing 24a of the lateral receiving chute 2a of the first section 2.
- the connecting structure 5 when the connecting structure 5 is located simultaneously in correspondence of a lateral receiving trough 2a of the first section 2 and of a lateral receiving trough 3a of the second section 3, it simultaneously bears vertically on the lateral trunking of receiving 2a of the first section, and on the lateral receiving trough 3a of the second section 3. Naturally, it is the same with the lateral receiving troughs 2b and 3b with the lateral wing 30b and the lateral covering wing 24b when a secondary supporting beam 6 bears symmetrically on the other side of the primary supporting beam 1.
- connection structure 5 of the secondary support beam 6 is located in correspondence simultaneously of the lateral chutes 2a and 3a or 2b and 3b ( figure 6 ), or in correspondence only of the lateral receiving trough 2a or 2b ( figure 7 ), or in correspondence only with the lateral receiving trough 3a or 3b ( figure 8 ), it is certain that all bearing surfaces 60 of adjacent secondary supporting beams 6 are located at one and the same height.
- the first and second sections 2 and 3 are arranged in the folded position ( figure 1 ) to minimize the bulk of the primary support beam 1.
- the locking means 14 immobilize the first and second sections relative to each other in the first longitudinal direction II.
- the primary support beam 1 When an operator uses the primary support beam 1 for the construction of a slab formwork support structure or the like, the latter may need to increase the length of the support primary beam 1.
- the operator actuates then the handles 10 so as to release the locking means 14 and allow sliding of the first and second sections 2 and 3 relative to each other in the first longitudinal direction II.
- the operator slides the first and second sections 2 and 3 relative to each other to an extended position to give a satisfactory length to the primary support beam 1. Once this length satisfactory reached , the operator actuates the handles 10 of the locking means 14 to immobilize the first and second sections 2 and 3 relative to each other in the first longitudinal direction II.
- the slide means 4 remain well protected from shocks and foreign bodies (solid or liquid debris) being at least partially contained between the two portions U2 and U3 substantially inverted U-shaped. And the portions of the longitudinal ribs 16a and 16b extracted during the sliding movement out of the longitudinal grooves 17a and 17b ( figure 2 ) are still well protected thanks to the protection profile 21.
- the primary support beam 1 is then placed in abutment on the upper plates of two support struts.
- Secondary support beams 6 are then placed in abutment on the sides and along the primary supporting beam 1. To do this, the ends of the secondary support beams 6 come to rest on the lateral chutes 1a and 1b of the primary support beam 1.
- connection structure 5 of some secondary support beams 6 comes into vertical support simultaneously on the lateral receiving chutes. 2a and 3a or 2b and 3b ( figure 6 ), or only comes to rest on the lateral receiving trough 2a or 2b ( figure 7 ), or only comes in vertical support on the lateral receiving trough 3a or 3b ( figure 8 ).

A problem proposed by the invention is to provide a primary support beam for slab formwork or the like, having an adjustable length in order to reduce the number of primary beam references to be held in stock by the slab formwork material supplier. similar.
Simultaneously, the invention aims to provide a primary beam whose adjustability in length does not interfere with a satisfactory attachment of secondary beams for the formation of a support structure for slab formwork or the like.
To achieve these and other objects, the invention provides a primary support beam according to
Such a primary support beam is adjustable in length to comply with the different dimensions of slabs to form. The respective lateral chutes of reception of the first section and second section allow a satisfactory attachment of secondary beams along the first and second sections by a vertical support and an opposition to any axial displacement away from the first longitudinal direction. And the respective lateral chutes receiving the first section and second section having a permanent overlap, there are continuous lateral chutes on each side of the primary support beam: it is thus possible to hang secondary beams along the entire length support primary beam, without interruption.
- the lateral flanges of the lateral receiving ducts of the first section are spaced from the respective lateral flanges of the lateral receiving ducts of the second section at a distance of between approximately 4 mm and approximately 10 mm.
Such a gap between the lateral wings makes it possible to reliably evacuate the concrete laitance that would flow into the lateral receiving chutes of the first and second sections. Effective evacuation, it limits the risks that this milt comes to hinder the subsequent sliding between the first and second sections.
Preferably, stop means can limit the sliding of the first and second sections away from each other, to define a maximum extension position.
This prevents any accidental dislocation of the first and second sections during the extension of the primary beam length.
- on one of the first or second sections, at least one longitudinal rib,
- on the other of the first or second sections, at least one longitudinal groove shaped to receive said at least one longitudinal rib sliding in the first longitudinal direction.
This provides simple and robust sliding means, with only two components. These constituent elements, namely the rib and the longitudinal groove, can be made simply and inexpensively by being provided in the cross sectional shape of the profiles constituting the first and second sections.
Preferably, the longitudinal rib and the longitudinal groove may be shaped so that the longitudinal groove receives the longitudinal rib retentive to oppose any extraction of the longitudinal rib out of the longitudinal groove during an extraction movement exerted in a direction transverse to the first longitudinal direction.
The slide means, of simple and robust constitution, thus also participate in mutual retention between the first and second sections to limit the risk of accidental dismantling of the primary support beam.
- the longitudinal rib has a transverse section with an outer contour extending angularly over more than 180 °,
- the longitudinal groove has a cross section shaped to receive the longitudinal rib in an inner contour in a cover extending angularly over more than 180 °.
- the first and second sections each have a cross-sectional portion substantially in the shape of an inverted U, with two branches connected by a base, said portions being arranged overlapping one another,
- the slider means are disposed between the two substantially inverted U-shaped cross-sectional portions at the base of the U.
The slide means are enclosed between the two U inverted and thus protected against shocks and liquid flows (such as concrete milt) that could distort or seize the slide means.
Advantageously, one can provide locking means for immobilizing the first and second sections relative to each other in the first longitudinal direction.
The locking means make it possible to fix temporarily but reliably the total length of the primary support beam, for good stability and good rigidity of the slab formwork structure or the like.
- the first and second sections comprise respectively a first profile and a second section partially fitted one into the other sliding in the first longitudinal direction,
- the first and second profiles each have a free end having a hooking nose for cooperating with a support strut.
The primary support beam thus consists of only two sections arranged to slide. Its length adjustment is thus faster and easier than a primary support beam consisting of three or more sections.
- the first section comprises at its free end a junction profile carrying the hooking nose,
- the joining profile has a cross section identical to the cross section of the second section, and is arranged to extend continue the second section when the first and second sections are in the retracted position,
- a protection profile extends from the joining profile and inside the second profile.
The primary support beam thus has a continuous upper bearing surface when the first and second sections are in the folded position.
In the primary support beam according to the invention, the lateral receiving chutes are slidably arranged one inside the other. This poses an additional problem which is to ensure that all the secondary support beams, coming in vertical support in the receiving side chutes of the first section and / or the second section, each have their upper bearing surface (intended to support a load). located at the same height to define a support plan. Indeed, the upper bearing surface support secondary beams generally receives plywood support plates on which is poured the concrete slab.

- each lateral chute for receiving the first section comprises a lateral overlapping wing coming to cover at least partially transversely the lateral edge of the side receiving troughs of the second section,
- when the connecting structure is located simultaneously in correspondence of a lateral receiving chute of the first section and a side receiving chute of the second section, the connecting structure is simultaneously in vertical support on the lateral side chute side of the receiving the second section and the side wing cover of the side chute receiving the first section.
