Definitions
- the present invention relates to a powdered composition for cleaning and / or descaling of equipment and machines, and to a method for the production thereof as well as their use for cleaning and / or descaling.
- compositions which serve for the cleaning and / or descaling of machines such as dishwashers or washing machines as well as household appliances as well as surfaces or the like are widely known from the prior art.
- a certainly well-known descaling agent is pure citric acid (2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic acid).
- a citric acid-containing cleaning agent is for example in the DE 43 11 713 C1 disclosed.
- a cleaning and descaling agent and a process for its preparation this being particularly suitable for the cleaning of sinks or the like.
- the cleaning and descaling agent disclosed therein comprises at least one mineral acid and from 0.5% to 50% by weight of an alkoxylated amine in aqueous solution, wherein additionally an organic acid, an organic acid anhydride or a salt of an organic acid may be added to improve a thickening effect of an ethoxylated or propoxylated tertiary amine.
- Citric acid or tartaric acid (2,3-dihydroxybutanedioic acid or else 2,3-dihydroxysuccinic acid) can in turn be used as the organic acid.
- decalcifiers based on citric acid are known on the market, which have amidosulfonic acid as a further additive. This should speed up the descaling process.
- the dosage form of the compositions which cause a cleaning and / or liming which cause a cleaning and / or liming.
- the machines mentioned usually have integrated ion exchangers, which also can not completely avoid the formation of a limescale.
- the well-known dishwashing detergents or detergents, even in the form of so-called tabs, are not enough. In some cases, lime precipitation may even increase and build up in household appliances.
- a dosage form wherein the composition is used only as a liquid, which is packaged in a container with a special closure.
- a bottle filled with a cleaning and / or descaling composition is hung upside down in said machines. From a certain temperature, the closure of the bottle dissolves, for example, about 50 Ā° C, so that then the bottle releases the descaling and / or cleaning composition. This ensures that at least in most cases, the composition enters the machine only in the main wash cycle.
- a disadvantage of this dosage form is that the machine in question must first heat to higher temperatures of about 50 Ā° C, so that already a significant part of a common main wash cycle has passed before the actual descaling or cleaning process begins by release of the composition.
- the DE 102 57 390 A1 discloses a cleaning composition in solid blocks containing as acidic components citric acid and one or more acids selected from adipic, succinic and glutaric acids, as well as their preparation and use. But even with this results in the problem that a partial dissolution of the solid block already takes place in the pre-rinse, so that part of the cleaning effect is lost. In particular, when using the now common short programs complete solution of the solid block is achieved, so that also the cleaning and / or descaling effect is weakened.
- the present invention therefore has for its object to provide a composition for cleaning and / or descaling of equipment and machines available, which is easy to use, especially in the context of said short programs or eco-energy-saving programs.
- a powdered composition for cleaning and / or decalcifying equipment and machines with at least one acid selected from a group comprising malic and / or tartaric acid comprising from about 50% to about 95% by weight of apples and / or tartaric acid and about 0.05% by weight to about 1% by weight of at least one perfume, the remainder being formed by at least one adjuvant, with about 35% by weight to about 75% by weight being the tartaric and / or tartaric acid have a first particle size ranging from about 0.48 mm to about 1.5 mm and about 4% by weight. to about 40% by weight of the tartaric and / or tartaric acid have a second grain size in a range from about 0.02 mm to about 0.45 mm, the weight percent being in each case based on the total amount of the composition.
- at least one acid selected from a group comprising malic and / or tartaric acid comprising from about 50% to about 95% by weight of apples and / or tartaric acid and about 0.05% by weight to about
- the composition of the invention has the great advantage that it is in powder form and easy z. B. in the Ein Schwarzfach a washing machine or dishwasher can be entered. Also, for cleaning of equipment, in particular household appliances, or surfaces, such a powdery composition is advantageous. In addition, this can be entered in particular in Ein Hughesfzzer of dishwashers or washing machines, which are then operated with a short program or an eco-energy saving program. Short programs usually take only about 25 to 40 minutes, energy-saving programs considerably longer, but in the latter a lower temperature, often a temperature of only 50 Ā° C, used. Under these temporal or temperature conditions a variety of known from the prior cleaning and / or descaling can not be used.
- the apple and / or tartaric acid used having the first particle size is coated with the perfume or the powder particles are provided therewith. More preferably, provided with the perfume or coated apple and / or tartaric acid with the first grain size provided with the tartaric and / or tartaric acid with the second grain size, while also at least one adjuvant may be added.
- such a structure of the powder in the powdered composition achieves separation between the perfume and the at least one adjuvant.
- the malic and / or tartaric acid having the first particle size or the latter is coated with this, and subsequently added only the tartaric and / or tartaric acid with the second grain size to the first provided particles or coated with the finely powdered malic and / or tartaric acid, so that then the perfume can be applied to these.
- the great advantage of the powdery composition according to the invention lies in the fact that it can be stored well and in particular only slightly tends both to clumping and dusting. It can thus be easily entered by pouring from a container, for example, in a Ein Cyprusfach a dishwasher or a washing machine.
- the acid used is exclusively malic acid.
- a powdery composition is to be understood as meaning that which is not liquid. This is preferably substantially dry, but may also have some moisture.
- the pulverulent composition is preferably pourable and has good flowability. Preferably, this does not dust.
- the powdery composition according to the present invention can easily be put in, for example, a dishwashing compartments of dishwashers or washing machines.
- grain size in the sense of the present invention describes the size of individual particles, also called grains, in a mixture.
- the grain size can be determined by a variety of methods, for example according to DIN 66165. Usually, a particle size distribution is determined, which is the result of a particle size analysis.
- the grain size can preferably be carried out by a sieve analysis. In the present case, a sieve analysis is preferably carried out to determine the grain size as part of a dry sieving according to DIN 66165.
- a sieve analysis is preferably carried out to determine the grain size as part of a dry sieving according to DIN 66165.
- For the very finely powdered components of the malic and / or tartaric acid with the second particle size can also be complementary or only a wet sieving be provided, also according to DIN 66165.

- the amount of the tartaric and / or tartaric acid of the first grain size is preferably in a range from about 40% by weight to about 68% by weight, more preferably in a range from about 50% by weight to about 65% by weight. %.
- the amount of malic and / or tartaric acid having the second grain size is preferably in a range of about 12% by weight to about 30% by weight, more preferably in a range of about 15 % By weight to about 25% by weight.
- the above weight percentages are as always based on the total amount of the powdered composition.
- the auxiliaries are, in particular, those already mentioned above in connection with the pulverulent composition, in particular also with regard to the stated chemical and physical properties.
- the method according to the invention results in that the usually liquid present perfume, advantageously at least one perfume oil, as already described above in connection with the pulverulent composition itself, is first applied to apple and / or tartaric acid with a first, larger particle size, in particular by spraying, and subsequently by further addition of the tartaric and / or tartaric acid with the second, smaller grain size, the particles thus added with perfume are coated with first grain size, which then may also have the other auxiliaries. This results in a separation of the excipients from the perfume, so that clumping of the powdery composition is largely prevented.
- the addition of the tartaric and / or tartaric acid with the second particle size takes place in a first and a second partial step. It is particularly preferred that the addition of the at least one adjuvant in the second substep of the addition of the tartaric and / or tartaric acid with the second grain size takes place. As a result, a further separation of the excipients from the perfume is achieved. More preferably, the resulting composition is stored for at least 24 hours prior to bottling thereof, preferably stored for at least 48 hours, more preferably stored for at least 96 hours.
- the fragrance used preferably in the form of at least one perfume oil, in the malic and / or tartaric acid with the first grain size, which can also be addressed as granules, can be achieved. But it can also be done a filling immediately after production without storage.
- the invention further relates to a use of the above-described pulverulent composition for the cleaning and / or descaling of dishwashers, washing machines and household appliances.
- Possible household appliances are kettles, coffee machines or the like.
- Particularly preferred according to the present Invention is a use for cleaning and / or descaling of dishwashers, stating an amount of not more than 40 g in a Ein Hughesfach.
- Particularly preferred is a use in connection with dishwashers when implementing short programs, short programs being understood as meaning those programs of a dishwasher which do not run for more than 60 minutes, preferably not longer than 50 minutes.
- temperatures of not more than 65 Ā° C. are used in the short programs; the temperature is preferably in a range between 45 Ā° C. and 60 Ā° C. with regard to the use according to the invention.
- FIG. 1 shows the particle size determination of the malic acid having a first and a second particle size used in the pulverulent composition given below by way of example.
- composition A Two powdery compositions were distinguished, differing in that in the one composition A only malic acid having a first, larger grain size, this composition was used as a comparison, and in the further composition B, malic acid having a first, a larger and a second , smaller grain size is used.
- the comparative composition A and the composition B according to the invention can be taken from the following table. Comparative Composition A Amount (% by weight) Composition B amount (% by weight) Malic acid, first, larger particle size 77,70 57.73 complexing 10.00 10.00 dispersants 6.00 6.00 Perfume, perfume oil orange 0.30 0.27 First surfactant 3.00 3.00 Second surfactant 3.00 3.00 Malic acid, second, small particle size - 20.00
- Comparative Composition A was prepared by adding the first, larger grain size perfume oil to the malic acid used alone and blending it during the displacement. Subsequently, this mixture was stored for six days, so that this mixture can be addressed as a premix. This premix is then mixed with the other excipients in a mixer. The product obtained is moist, hardly flows and also sticks particularly in the mixing devices used.
- Composition B was prepared by first adding the first larger particle size malic acid to a blender and then spraying it with the perfume while stirring. The mixing was then continued for a few minutes, and then 10% by weight of the second smaller particle size malic acid was added with stirring and mixing continued for a few minutes. Subsequently, a further 10% by weight of the malic acid with the second, finer grain size together with the remaining excipients were fed to the mixer and all stirred together for a few minutes. The finished recipe was then stored for six days and was then easily fillable in 30 g bags. But it is also immediately fillable without storage.
- the first larger grain size malic acid of Comparative Composition A and Composition B had 70% grain size ranging from 0.56 mm to 0.8 mm.
- the malic acid having the second, smaller grain size had about 53% grain size in a range of 0.20 mm to 0.30 mm.
- the grain size according to the attached figure was determined by a dry sieving according to DIN 66156 using various sieves with the sieve sizes shown on the abscissa of the figure.
- the surfactants used were once one which is a combination of an alkylpolyglycoside, silicate and sulfate, and one such which is a modified fatty alcohol polyglycol ether. These can be obtained, for example, under the product name Dehypon Gra, BASF SE, Ludwigshafen, Germany, or under the name Glucopon 50 G, BTC Europe GmbH, Cologne, Germany.
- the surfactants used had different pH values, namely the first surfactant has a pH in the range of about 10 to 12, the second surfactant has a pH in the range of about 5.5 to 7.0.
- the complexing agent used was Trilon M granules SG, obtained from BTC Europe GmbH, Cologne, Germany, which is a reaction product of (SS) -alanine, N, N-bis (carboxymethyl) -trisodium salt and (2R) -alanine, N, N bis (carboxymethyl) trisodium salt.
- the dispersant used was Sokalan CP 50 granulate, obtained from BTC Europe GmbH, Cologne, Germany, which is a modified polyacrylic acid.
- composition B was dry, not dusty and in particular had a good fluidity, which predestined them for use in powder form, especially in dishwashers or washing machines in their Ein Stammfach.
- Composition B was compared to marketed products. When running a short program in a dishwasher for 36 minutes at 50 Ā° C (machine specification) this had compared to marketable products excellent Kalklettes and good fat dissolving power, the excellent cleaning and descaling was achieved because the composition by opening the Ein Albanyfaches or the tab compartment of the dishwasher is immediately available in the dishwasher after closing the door, whereas in marketable products, especially those which are in liquid form and are filled in bottles with eg a wax seal, a release over a significantly longer time, so that in the short program insufficient time was available to develop sufficient cleaning and descaling performance.
- the inventive composition thus provides a powder with which in particular dishwashers and washing machines can be easily cleaned and / or decalcified. It is characterized in particular by easy handling and a very good cleaning and descaling effect when using short programs in dishwashers, but also washing machines. In addition, it is also suitable to decalcify and / or clean other household appliances with good effect.

Description
The present invention relates to a powdered composition for cleaning and / or descaling of equipment and machines, and to a method for the production thereof as well as their use for cleaning and / or descaling.
Particularly problematic in dishwashers and washing machines, the dosage form of the compositions which cause a cleaning and / or liming. The machines mentioned usually have integrated ion exchangers, which also can not completely avoid the formation of a limescale. Also the well-known dishwashing detergents or detergents, even in the form of so-called tabs, are not enough. In some cases, lime precipitation may even increase and build up in household appliances.
For the household appliances mentioned, it is known from the prior art to add a decalcifying and / or cleaning agent as a liquid after the prewash cycle of the dishwasher or washing machine. However, this has the great disadvantage that the user has to determine by himself, when the pre-rinse has expired. If the product is added shortly before the expiration of the pre-rinse cycle, it is pumped out less effectively with a first rinse liquor. However, if the user waits too long, the main wash cycle has expired, at least in part, and descaling or cleaning can not be carried out with full effect.
Alternatively, a dosage form is known, wherein the composition is used only as a liquid, which is packaged in a container with a special closure. Such a bottle filled with a cleaning and / or descaling composition is hung upside down in said machines. From a certain temperature, the closure of the bottle dissolves, for example, about 50 Ā° C, so that then the bottle releases the descaling and / or cleaning composition. This ensures that at least in most cases, the composition enters the machine only in the main wash cycle. A disadvantage of this dosage form, however, is that the machine in question must first heat to higher temperatures of about 50 Ā° C, so that already a significant part of a common main wash cycle has passed before the actual descaling or cleaning process begins by release of the composition. This is a particular problem when using eco-saving dishwashers in dishwashers or washing machines with manufacturer-specified program temperatures of, for example, 55 Ā° C, often only 50 Ā° C or even less inside the machine. In addition, due to the use of liquid cleaning and / or descaling compositions, the usable amount of active ingredient, for example, the amount of Citric acid, limited. Usually, the concentrations in active ingredients are only about 20% for the liquids taken up in the bottle.
There is thus a need for a composition for cleaning and / or descaling of household appliances and machines, in particular dishwashers and washing machines, which is easy to use and in particular in the context of so-called short programs or eco-saving programs in dishwashers or washing machines achieved satisfactory results ,
The present invention therefore has for its object to provide a composition for cleaning and / or descaling of equipment and machines available, which is easy to use, especially in the context of said short programs or eco-energy-saving programs.
This object is achieved by a powdered composition for cleaning and / or decalcifying equipment and machines with at least one acid selected from a group comprising malic and / or tartaric acid comprising from about 50% to about 95% by weight of apples and / or tartaric acid and about 0.05% by weight to about 1% by weight of at least one perfume, the remainder being formed by at least one adjuvant, with about 35% by weight to about 75% by weight being the tartaric and / or tartaric acid have a first particle size ranging from about 0.48 mm to about 1.5 mm and about 4% by weight. to about 40% by weight of the tartaric and / or tartaric acid have a second grain size in a range from about 0.02 mm to about 0.45 mm, the weight percent being in each case based on the total amount of the composition.
The composition of the invention has the great advantage that it is in powder form and easy z. B. in the EinspĆ¼lfach a washing machine or dishwasher can be entered. Also, for cleaning of equipment, in particular household appliances, or surfaces, such a powdery composition is advantageous. In addition, this can be entered in particular in EinspĆ¼lfƤcher of dishwashers or washing machines, which are then operated with a short program or an eco-energy saving program. Particularly advantageously, in the pulverulent composition according to the invention, the apple and / or tartaric acid used having the first particle size is coated with the perfume or the powder particles are provided therewith. More preferably, provided with the perfume or coated apple and / or tartaric acid with the first grain size provided with the tartaric and / or tartaric acid with the second grain size, while also at least one adjuvant may be added. Advantageously, such a structure of the powder in the powdered composition achieves separation between the perfume and the at least one adjuvant. However, it may be provided that initially at least one excipient is applied to the malic and / or tartaric acid having the first particle size or the latter is coated with this, and subsequently added only the tartaric and / or tartaric acid with the second grain size to the first provided particles or coated with the finely powdered malic and / or tartaric acid, so that then the perfume can be applied to these.
The great advantage of the powdery composition according to the invention lies in the fact that it can be stored well and in particular only slightly tends both to clumping and dusting. It can thus be easily entered by pouring from a container, for example, in a EinspĆ¼lfach a dishwasher or a washing machine.
Vorzugsweise wird als SƤure ausschlieĆlich ĆpfelsƤure eingesetzt.Preferably, the acid used is exclusively malic acid.

The term "grain size" in the sense of the present invention describes the size of individual particles, also called grains, in a mixture. The grain size can be determined by a variety of methods, for example according to DIN 66165. Usually, a particle size distribution is determined, which is the result of a particle size analysis. The grain size can preferably be carried out by a sieve analysis. In the present case, a sieve analysis is preferably carried out to determine the grain size as part of a dry sieving according to DIN 66165. For the very finely powdered components of the malic and / or tartaric acid with the second particle size can also be complementary or only a wet sieving be provided, also according to DIN 66165.

- Adding an amount of malic and / or tartaric acid, preferably in an amount ranging from about 35% by weight to about 75% by weight, more preferably in an amount ranging from 40% by weight to 68% by weight. -%, more preferably in a range of about 50% by weight to 65% by weight, with a first grain size in a range of about 0.48 mm to about 1.5 mm, preferably in a range of about 0.55 mm to about 0.85 mm, more preferably in a range of about 0.56 mm to about 0.80 mm, with at least one perfume, preferably in an amount and a range of about 0.05% by weight to about 1 % By weight, more preferably in an amount ranging from about 0.08% by weight to 0.5% by weight; and
- subsequently adding to said resulting mixture an amount of malic and / or tartaric acid in an amount ranging from about 4% to about 40% by weight, preferably in an amount ranging from about 12% by weight. % to about 30% by weight, more preferably in an amount ranging from about 15% to about 25% by weight, having a second grain size in a range of about 0.02 mm to about 0.45 mm, more preferably in a range of about 0.1 mm to about 0.4 mm, even more preferably in a range of about 0.2 mm to about 0.3 mm and with at least one excipient, if the latter is necessary.
The above weight percentages are as always based on the total amount of the powdered composition.
The auxiliaries are, in particular, those already mentioned above in connection with the pulverulent composition, in particular also with regard to the stated chemical and physical properties. The method according to the invention results in that the usually liquid present perfume, advantageously at least one perfume oil, as already described above in connection with the pulverulent composition itself, is first applied to apple and / or tartaric acid with a first, larger particle size, in particular by spraying, and subsequently by further addition of the tartaric and / or tartaric acid with the second, smaller grain size, the particles thus added with perfume are coated with first grain size, which then may also have the other auxiliaries. This results in a separation of the excipients from the perfume, so that clumping of the powdery composition is largely prevented.
Advantageously, the addition of the tartaric and / or tartaric acid with the second particle size takes place in a first and a second partial step. By storage prior to bottling the largest possible retraction of the fragrance used, preferably in the form of at least one perfume oil, in the malic and / or tartaric acid with the first grain size, which can also be addressed as granules, can be achieved. But it can also be done a filling immediately after production without storage.
The invention further relates to a use of the above-described pulverulent composition for the cleaning and / or descaling of dishwashers, washing machines and household appliances. Possible household appliances are kettles, coffee machines or the like. Particularly preferred according to the present Invention is a use for cleaning and / or descaling of dishwashers, stating an amount of not more than 40 g in a EinspĆ¼lfach. Particularly preferred is a use in connection with dishwashers when implementing short programs, short programs being understood as meaning those programs of a dishwasher which do not run for more than 60 minutes, preferably not longer than 50 minutes. Normally, temperatures of not more than 65 Ā° C. are used in the short programs; the temperature is preferably in a range between 45 Ā° C. and 60 Ā° C. with regard to the use according to the invention.
These further advantages of the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the following description and FIG. The FIGURE shows the particle size determination of the malic acid having a first and a second particle size used in the pulverulent composition given below by way of example.
First, it should be noted that the invention is not limited to the powdery composition described below. Rather, the features disclosed in each case in the description can be combined into those of the exemplary embodiment reproduced below.
Comparative Composition A was prepared by adding the first, larger grain size perfume oil to the malic acid used alone and blending it during the displacement. Subsequently, this mixture was stored for six days, so that this mixture can be addressed as a premix. This premix is then mixed with the other excipients in a mixer. The product obtained is moist, hardly flows and also sticks particularly in the mixing devices used.
On the other hand, Composition B was prepared by first adding the first larger particle size malic acid to a blender and then spraying it with the perfume while stirring.
The first larger grain size malic acid of Comparative Composition A and Composition B, as shown in the figure, had 70% grain size ranging from 0.56 mm to 0.8 mm. The malic acid having the second, smaller grain size had about 53% grain size in a range of 0.20 mm to 0.30 mm. The grain size according to the attached figure was determined by a dry sieving according to DIN 66156 using various sieves with the sieve sizes shown on the abscissa of the figure.
The surfactants used were once one which is a combination of an alkylpolyglycoside, silicate and sulfate, and one such which is a modified fatty alcohol polyglycol ether. These can be obtained, for example, under the product name Dehypon Gra, BASF SE, Ludwigshafen, Germany, or under the name Glucopon 50 G, BTC Europe GmbH, Cologne, Germany. The surfactants used had different pH values, namely the first surfactant has a pH in the range of about 10 to 12, the second surfactant has a pH in the range of about 5.5 to 7.0. The complexing agent used was Trilon M granules SG, obtained from BTC Europe GmbH, Cologne, Germany, which is a reaction product of (SS) -alanine, N, N-bis (carboxymethyl) -trisodium salt and (2R) -alanine, N, N bis (carboxymethyl) trisodium salt. The dispersant used was Sokalan CP 50 granulate, obtained from BTC Europe GmbH, Cologne, Germany, which is a modified polyacrylic acid.
In contrast to the comparative composition A, the composition B was dry, not dusty and in particular had a good fluidity, which predestined them for use in powder form, especially in dishwashers or washing machines in their EinspĆ¼lfach.
Composition B was compared to marketed products. When running a short program in a dishwasher for 36 minutes at 50 Ā° C (machine specification) this had compared to marketable products excellent Kalklƶsekraft and good fat dissolving power, the excellent cleaning and descaling was achieved because the composition by opening the EinspĆ¼lfaches or the tab compartment of the dishwasher is immediately available in the dishwasher after closing the door, whereas in marketable products, especially those which are in liquid form and are filled in bottles with eg a wax seal, a release over a significantly longer time, so that in the short program insufficient time was available to develop sufficient cleaning and descaling performance.
The inventive composition thus provides a powder with which in particular dishwashers and washing machines can be easily cleaned and / or decalcified. It is characterized in particular by easy handling and a very good cleaning and descaling effect when using short programs in dishwashers, but also washing machines. In addition, it is also suitable to decalcify and / or clean other household appliances with good effect.
