Claims (7)
- Pivotable rod lock, in particular for swing doors of motor vehicle superstructures, with a base part (10) consisting of a base plate (12) which can be attached to a vehicle superstructure and at least two side walls (13),
and with a closing lever (9) which is connected to the rod (5) and has a handle (14), and can be pivoted relative to the base part (10) and blocked thereon by a bar (21) mounted in the closing lever (9),
wherein the closing lever (9), arranged in its blocking position between the side walls (13), is provided with at least one opening (19, 41, 42) oriented transversely to the longitudinal extension of the closing lever (9), for passage of a wire-like or cable-like customs seal,
wherein the base part (10), towards the handle (14), is provided with a longitudinal aperture (43) which is oriented in the direction of the closing lever (9) and is situated in a tab (17) extending from the baseplate (12) to the closing lever (9), and the longitudinal aperture (43) towards the closing lever (9) is delimited by an aperture edge (45) formed on the tab (17), and
wherein a free connection (V1, V2), which is not hindered by components of the pivotable rod lock, exists between the longitudinal aperture (43) and the at least one opening (19, 41, 42) in the closing lever (9) for passage of the customs seal, characterised in that in the blocking position of the closing lever (9), the opening (19) is situated in a top side (22) of the closing lever (9) facing away from the base plate (12),
wherein an actuation portion (25) of the bar (21), preferably configured as a button, sits in the opening (19), and
wherein the actuation portion (25) needs only part of the opening (19) and a further part of the opening (19) is available for passage of the customs seal. - Pivotable rod lock according to claim 1, characterised in that the centre line of the longitudinal aperture (43) lies on the common centre line of symmetry of the base part (10) and the closing lever (9).
- Pivotable rod lock according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the base plate (12), the side walls (13) and the tab (17) together and integrally form the base part (10), and that the tab (17) is arranged at right angles to the base plate (12) and at right angles to the side walls (13).
- Pivotable rod lock according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the longitudinal aperture (43) is situated below the closing lever (9) but outside the closing lever portion forming the handle (14).
- Pivotable rod lock according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the base part (10), including the side walls (13) and the tab (17), consists of a cut metal sheet formed by bending processes.
- Pivotable rod lock according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that viewed in the longitudinal direction of the closing lever (9), the longitudinal aperture (43) is arranged between the handle (14) and the opening (19, 41, 42).
- Pivotable rod lock according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that a further opening (41, 42) is a side opening in the closing lever (9) which at least partially coincides with a side opening in the respective side wall (13) also oriented transversely to the longitudinal extension of the closing lever (9).
