Description
The invention relates to a closure system for a leak-proof bottle for baby food.
In known bottles for baby food, the teat at the bottom has a peripheral Saugerflansch which is fixed by means of a screwed onto an external thread of the bottle screw ring sealingly on the edge of a bottle opening. In order to prevent the leakage of the liquid in drinking breaks, a lid is placed between the suction flange and the edge of the bottle and clamped by means of the screw ring.

In the embodiment, the closure rings have conical seating surfaces. Furthermore, sealing rings on the underside of the lower locking ring and on the Top of the first seat available. The lower locking ring has a locking projection projecting inwardly from the lower conical seating surface, and the upper locking ring has locking tabs projecting from the lower second tapered seating surface which engage behind the locking projection.
The production and application of the leak-proof bottle is sometimes still expensive. Due to the complex spatial shape, contaminants can accumulate on the closure rings. The snap tongues come into contact with the baby food and must be handled for disassembly. The cleaning of the locking rings is expensive.

According to the embodiment, the soft elastic sealing material is molded onto the lower locking ring and covers a circular portion surrounding the flow holes on the first seating surface. Further, it has on the inner circumference of the flow holes each have a strip-shaped portion. On the underside of the first central part of the strip-shaped sections outgoing, further strip-shaped portions of the soft elastic sealing material are present, run down the inside of a cylindrical portion of the first shell part and are connected at the bottom with an annular circumferential sealing surface made of the same material, on the inside of a Stage of the first shell part is arranged. The sealing material is e.g. a thermoplastic elastomer.
In the known closure system, the seal between the lower locking ring and the upper locking ring between the circular disc-shaped soft elastic sealing material of the first seat of the lower locking ring and seated thereon, substantially flat second seat of the upper locking ring. This can lead to leaks especially if the seat is not exactly against each other with a certain contact pressure. Further, the friction between the first seat of soft elastic sealing material and the second seat surface may hinder the rotation of the upper locking ring with respect to the lower locking ring.

- a lower closure ring having a substantially cylindrical lower shell portion with an internal thread which is screwed onto an external thread of a bottle, a above the internal thread at the edge connected to the lower shell portion and its cross-section obstructing lower partition with a first top and a first bottom and has at least one, on the one hand in the first top and on the other hand in the first bottom opening, lower flow hole,
- an upper closure ring having a substantially cylindrical upper shell portion with an external thread for connection to a threaded ring for securing a teat to the upper shell portion and an upper partition wall connected to the upper shell part and blocking its cross section with a second upper side and a second lower side sealingly seated on the first upper side and at least one upper throughflow opening in the second lower side and on the other side in the second upper side
- Locking elements that rotatably and releasably lock the lower locking ring and the upper locking ring relative to each other,
- wherein at least one sealing pad in cake pie of a soft elastic material on the first upper side of the lower partition wall and at least one upper through hole with a cake piece shape complementary peripheral sealing seat in the second underside of the upper partition wall is arranged or vice versa and optionally the upper flow hole by turning the upper closure ring with respect to the lower locking ring in overlapping position with respect to the lower through hole and the sealing seat in sealing position with respect to the sealing pad can be brought.
The closure system according to the invention can be screwed onto an outlet-protected bottle for infant food with the internal thread of the lower closure ring. Furthermore, a teat by means of a screw ring can be screwed onto the external thread of the upper locking ring. In this case, the lower closure ring sealingly seated on the upper edge of the bottle and the teat sealingly seated on the upper edge of the upper shell portion of the upper locking ring.
The locking rings are rotatable and releasably connected to each other via the locking elements relative to each other. The locking rings have a lower and at least one upper flow hole, which can be brought by turning the upper locking ring to the lower locking ring in overlapping and non-overlapping positions. If the at least one lower and the at least one upper flow hole overlap, children's food can be removed. If they do not cover up, the closure system locks the removal of liquid baby food. The lower locking ring and the upper locking ring lie flat against each other with the first upper side and the second lower side, so that infant food can not in principle flow out laterally between the two locking rings.
When the upper lock ring is rotated with respect to the lower lock ring so as to be sealed to the one seal seat with respect to the at least one seal pad, the passage of liquid infant food through the at least one lower through hole and the at least one upper through hole is prevented. At the same time it is prevented that liquid infant food exits laterally through the contact area between the first top of the lower partition and the second bottom of the upper partition. The at least one sealing pad is disposed either on the first upper side of the lower partition wall and the at least one sealing seat on the second lower side of the upper partition wall, or the at least one sealing cushion is on the second lower side of the upper partition wall and the at least one sealing seat on the first upper side of the lower partition Partition arranged. Further, the invention includes possible embodiments in which the lower partition wall at least one pie-shaped sealing pad and at least one pie-shaped sealing seat and the upper partition wall at least one complementary thereto sealing bag and at least have a complementary to the at least one pie-shaped sealing cushion of the lower partition sealing seat.
The pie slice shape of the sealing pad and the complementary sealing seat favor a particularly advantageous for the removal of liquid infant formula shape of the through holes and a particularly tight seal these through holes. According to a preferred embodiment, the sealing seat is an edge surrounding the at least one upper through-hole, against which the sealing cushion abuts sealingly on the edge when the sealing seat is brought into sealing position with respect to the sealing pad. The edge can be made with particularly dimensionally stable or smooth surface. It is preferably a marginal bevel or chamfer of the through hole into which the sealing pad is pressed, wherein it bears with its edge sealingly against the bevel or chamfer.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the closure system has the following further features: on the first upper side, an annular lip seal concentric with the lower shell part is made of a soft elastic material with at least one axially directed sealing lip and on the second underside at least one engaging with the lip seal, arranged to the upper shell part concentric annular sealing geometry or vice versa and the upper flow hole can be brought by turning the upper locking ring with respect to the lower locking ring in overlapping and non-overlapping positions with respect to the lower flow hole.
As an additional lateral seal of the contact area between the first upper side and the second lower side, there is at least one annular lip seal and at least one annular sealing geometry engaged therewith. In this case, either the lower locking ring at least an annular lip seal and the upper locking ring on the at least one annular sealing geometry or the lower locking ring has the at least one annular sealing geometry and the upper locking ring, the at least one annular lip seal. It is also possible that both the upper closure ring and the lower closure ring have at least one annular lip seal and at least annular sealing geometry. The at least one annular lip seal and the at least one annular sealing geometry are arranged to surround the lower and upper flow holes. They are arranged concentrically to the lower shell part and the upper shell part, so that they do not hinder the rotation of the upper locking ring relative to the lower locking ring. Due to the at least one annular lip seal and the at least one annular sealing geometry, the seal between the lower and upper closure rings is improved and a lateral escape of liquid infant food is prevented even more effectively. It is particularly advantageous that the axially directed sealing lip and a corresponding sealing geometry mesh in the axial direction of the cylindrical shell parts, so that the lower locking ring and the upper locking ring are easily assembled and separated from each other.
In this closure system, even if the lower and upper through holes overlap each other, the lateral drainage of liquid food between the upper and lower closure parts is securely prevented.
According to a preferred embodiment, which further improves the edge-side seal, the lip seal is a double lip seal.
According to another embodiment, which improves the removal of liquid food and the sealing of the closure rings, have the lower closure ring and the upper closure ring in each case two diametrically opposed flow holes and / or the lower closure ring two diametrically opposed sealing pads in pie slice shape and the upper closure ring two diametrically opposed flow holes with randseitigem sealing seat or vice versa.
The locking elements can be designed in various ways. According to a preferred embodiment, they are parts of a bayonet closure. A bayonet lock allows easy connection of locking ring and upper locking ring with each other and the user also easy separation of the lower and upper locking ring.
According to a further embodiment, the lower locking ring above the internal thread has an annular sealing element of a soft elastic material for sealing at the upper edge of a bottle. As a result, the sealing seat of the closure system is supported on the bottle. In principle, it is also possible to insert a separate sealing ring between the closure system and the bottle.
According to a preferred embodiment, the sealing element is annular disk-shaped.
According to a further embodiment, the lip seal and the sealing element consists of a soft elastic material which extends from the lip seal over the first upper side of the lower partition wall through the lower through holes to the sealing element. The sealing elements can then be integrally molded onto the lower locking ring. This is manufacturing technology advantageous.
According to one embodiment of the lip seal and / or the sealing pad and / or the sealing element having lower and / or upper closure ring in the two-component injection molding of a soft elastic plastic component for the lip seal and / or the sealing pad and / or the sealing element and the rest of made of a hard elastic plastic component. The two-component injection molding process may, in particular, be a core retraction process or a conversion process.
According to a further embodiment, the lip seal and / or the sealing pad and / or the sealing element made of thermoplastic elastomer. The production of thermoplastic elastomer favors in particular the cohesive connection between the lip seal and / or sealing bag and / or sealing element with the other parts of the lower and / or upper locking ring. In principle, it is also possible to connect the lip seal and / or the sealing pad and / or the sealing element positively and / or non-positively with the other parts of the lower and / or locking ring. This applies both to embodiments of these seals made of thermoplastic elastomer as well as for possible embodiments of these seals of another sealing material, such as rubber or silicone.
According to a preferred embodiment, the first upper side is flat and the second lower side is flat. Furthermore, the first lower side and the second upper side are also preferably flat.
According to a further embodiment, the lower closure ring is screwed onto a bottle for infant food.
According to a further embodiment, the upper locking ring is held by a screw ring a teat.
