- the invention relates to a technical textile product.
- the invention particularly relates to a fabric embodiment for military purposes and a cloth produced from this fabric in order to maintain combat power under any circumstances.
- One purpose of the invention to eliminate the disadvantages of the current state of the art is to ensure that the troops wearing military clothes made of fabrics being subject of the invention are not influenced by bad weather conditions such as cold, wind, rain etc.
- Another purpose of the invention is to provide protection and working conditions in the zones exposed to chemical, biological and nuclear attacks.
- a further purpose of the invention is to prevent detection of troops wearing the clothes made of this fabric by infrared - thermal cameras and proximity infrared - night vision detection devices which are detection devices of today, in addition to visual camouflage of the wearer.
- Another purpose of the invention is to provide use of fabric in any weather conditions because of light, breathing and non-sweating feature of it.
- a further purpose of the invention is to prevent stress occurrence by help of anti- static feature.
- Another purpose of the invention is to provide sewing, fabric cost gaining by help of no need for preparation of separate clothes for each ambience and circumstance.
- a further purpose of the invention is to provide being prepared even in case of not foreseen conditions as it has been prepared by the fabric as a person exposed to a mass destruction arm and not having convenient fabric will have no chance to survive because of not having opportunity and time to choose such fabric. Having the chance to survive with the least loss eliminates the time loss in selection of the convenient fabric in any circumstances.
- a further purpose of the invention is that the fabric that can be produced by at least four different fabrics is very light and economical.
- Another purpose of the invention is to enhance the protection feature and effects because of collective layers of feature supporting each other.
- the invention is a military purposed fabric consisting of outer fabric (1) in the form of weaving, knitting or non-woven surface with antibacterial, therapeutic and anti-static feature, membrane (2) laminated with the said outer fabric (1) having water-proof and breathing feature to provide protection against detection devices, filter (3) in the form of woven fabric made of active carbon or woven, knitted or non-woven surface containing active carbon or in the form of foam or coating containing active carbon applied to the carrier fabric (4) with anti-bacterial, thermal barrier feature in order to provide protection against biological and chemical (CBRN) agents, woven or knitted carrier fabric (4) contacting the skin and laminated with filter layer (3).
- outer fabric (1) in the form of weaving, knitting or non-woven surface with antibacterial, therapeutic and anti-static feature
- filter (3) in the form of woven fabric made of active carbon or woven, knitted or non-woven surface containing active carbon or in the form of foam or coating containing active carbon applied to the carrier fabric (4)
- the invention is a method for production of military purposed protective fabric and it is characterized in that it consists of process steps of obtaining outer fabric (1), carrier fabric (4) and filter fabric (3) by means of woven, knitted or surface formation (such as non-woven) method, adjustment of reflectance value for each colour by chemicals and dyes, lamination of outer fabric (1) and membrane (2), lamination of filter layer to the carrier fabric (4) where it contacts the skin, combination of fabrics in a manner the membrane (2) remains before the filter layer (3) and outer fabric (1) remains in the furthest part and conduct of sewing according to the desired design.
- the invention is also a fabric embodiment wherein liquid chemical (CBRN) protection is provided by means of lamination of outer fabric (1) with membrane (2) and lamination of other surface of the membrane (2) with the carrier fabric (4) without filter layer (3).
- CBRN liquid chemical
- the invention is also a military clothing produced by the said fabric embodiment obtained by means of the said method.
- FIG. 1 is n illustrative view of the fabric embodiment being subject of the invention
- the invention relates to a fabric embodiment containing outer fabric (1), membrane (2), filter layer (3), carrier fabric (4) developed in order to ensure performance of duty by a troop under any circumstances without loss of combat force.
- the outer fabric (1) is the very outer layer and provides protection against detection devices. It reaches the temperature same as the environment by means of emitting received heat so as to prevent detection by thermal cameras. It is also antibacterial, therapeutic and antistatic. It emits the received electricity and thus prevents stress occurrence. It is easy and comfortable because of its therapeutic feature. It does not prevent motion capability because it is light and elastic. With its anti-bacterial feature it protects from harmful microbes and prevents odour occurrence and features such as water distraction, oil- and dirt-proof, protection against mosquito and insect s can be provided optionally. Desired colour and pattern, can be provided. It provides desired visual camouflage by means of applied colour and pattern. It gains specified desired reflection values by means of chemicals and dyes used in colour application and thus detection by night vision devices is prevented.
- Membrane (2) is a special membrane. It is water- and wind-proof but breath. Water steam permeability is high. It provides protection in bad weather conditions up to -40 degrees. It protects against rain with its water-proof feature and discharges the humidity with its breathing feature and prevents sweating and provides comfort. It is also resistant against liquid chemical agents and provides protection. Membrane (2) also protects other layers against raining.
- Filter layer (fabric) (3) provides protection against nuclear, biological and chemical 'CBRN) agents. It is also antibacterial. Furthermore, it is a very good thermal barrier and is inflammable.
- the carrier fabric (4) can be of woven or knitted and desired mixtures thereof as per request.
- the fabric embodiment being subject of the invention is the part contacting the skin. It does not irritate the skin with its soft texture and provides comfort. It increases resistance of filter fabric (3).
- the outer fabric (1), carrier fabric (4) and filter fabric (3) are produced by weaving, knitting or surface formation
- the desired colour and pattern is provided to the outer fabric (1 ) and thus visual camouflage is provided. Reflection values are adjusted for each colour by means of special chemicals and dyes and proximity infrared protection is provided. It is possible to provide features such as water and oil-proof, inflammable, protection against mosquito and resistance to creasing for the outer fabric (1 ).
- the desired colour or pattern is provided to the carrier fabric (4).
- Lami nation The outer fabric (1) and membrane (2) are laminated to each other.
- the filter layer (3) and carrier fabric (4) are laminated. While laminating, attention is paid to no decrease in air permeability, providing being homogenous and resistance to heat if required.
- Filter layer (3) is laminated to the carried fabric (4) in the section where it contacts skin. The fabrics are joined in a manner membrane (2) is before the filter layer (3) and outer fabric (1 ) is in the very out section and thus sewing can be conducted according to the desired pattern.
- the outer fabric (1 ) is the very outer layer and provides protection against detection devices.
- the outer fabric (1 ) is of woven form but can also be of knitted non-woven surface. Mixtures such as silver yarns and nylon or polyester or cotton or aramid can be used. Yarns coated with silver ions can also be used instead of silver yarns.
