Definitions
- This invention published a continuous roller press with flexible heating plate. It belongs to the technical field of wood working mechanicals technology.
- the structure and the working principle of the present continuous roller hot press for the production of MDF and particleboard is as shown in fig 1 .
- the feeding belt conveyor transfers MDF mat or particleboard mat into the gap between the main pressing drum and the steel belt where the mat is first compressed and heated up from both sides by the main pressing drum and the steel belt. After running for roughly 3 meters the mat is compressed by the pressing drum the second time. The steel belt is heated up also by the pressing drum. After roughly 2 meters more the mat reaches another pressing drum. The mat is compressed the third time and the steel belt is heated up one more time by the pressing drum. The raw panel is made when the mat is transferred between the main pressing drum and the steel belt up to the outlet of the press.

The second, the heat reserved on the steel belt is very limited. Even though it is heated up two more times by the pressing drums the heat energy is still insufficient for the process. As the result the mat can not be sufficiently compressed when the core layer of the mat is heated up to the softening temperature. Due to the insufficient compressing the core density of the mat is low resulted in the low internal bond of the mat.
