Definitions
- the present invention refers to a women's garment which is easy to dress and having good wearability.
- the band of fabric or the covering elements are in general fixed around the bust of a user through suitable hooking means or fastening means arranged in such a way that the closure is arranged at the back of the user.
- hooking means or of fastening means also makes it necessary for there to be more processing steps during the production of the garment, thus making the time necessary to produce the garment longer.
- women's garments for the home, for bathing or for sunbathing known today do not always offer good wearability and adhesion to the body.
- the purpose of the present invention is that of avoiding the aforementioned drawbacks and in particular that of conceiving a women's garment which is particularly easy to wear.
- Another purpose of the present invention is that of providing a women's garment which can be made quickly without requiring a large number of production steps. Further purpose of the present invention is that of making a women's garment which ensures an optimal wearability and adhesion to the body.
- the women's garment 10,10' is made up of a closed ring-shaped central band 11 to which two fastening bands 12,13, of the garment 10,10' around the bust of a user, are connected in two positions diametrically opposed of the central band 11.
- the women's garment 10,10' is fitted by inserting the arms inside the closed ring-shaped central band 11 such as to bring a first portion 11a of such a central band 11 to the neck, and arrange it such as that the central band 11 goes from the shoulders down and goes, with second portions 11b, around the armpits of the user, closing at the back with a third and last portion 11c.
- the two fastening bands 12,13 are connected at the central ring band 11 substantially at the height of the second portions 11b of such a band 11 which are arranged at the armpits of the user.
- Such fastening bands 12,13 can thus be easily reached by the user who then goes on to fasten them with one another to form a central front knot 14.
- the garment 10,10' can thus be fitted without there being the need to reach areas which are awkward and arranged in positions outside the field of view of the user, thus being able to better follow the opening and closing processes of the fastening.
- the fastening bands 12,13 replace the covering elements of the breasts used in conventional garments.
- the fastening bands 12,13 can comprise a first widened portion 16, suitable for covering the breasts, arranged near to the central ring portion 11, and a narrower second portion 17 intended to be used for fastening a knot 14, at the free end of the fastening bands 12,13.
- the first widened portion 16 is preferably shaped like a cup, for example, through suitable seams (not illustrated).
- the closure of the fastening bands 12,13 allows there to be a higher flexibility and a closer fit of the garment to the actual size of the body 20 of the user.
- a wearability of the garment 10,10' which is optimized to the actual size of the body, and on the other hand, it is advantageously possible to make such a garment in just a few different sizes (for example small, medium , large ) whilst still covering most of the existing standard size spectrum. This makes it possible to exploit the production of the garment 10,10' on a large scale, in the best way possible.
- the central ring-shaped band 11 and the central fastening bands 12,13 are made of elasticised material which obtains an even greater wearability and a further adaptation of the garment 10,10' to the body 20 of the user.
- the fastening bands 12,13 are made of a material which can be tolerated particularly well by sensitive skin of the areas which it covers, for example a non-irritating material, whereas the central ring band 11 is made of a high-resistance material, such a portion being subjected to higher support stresses.
- the materials used for making the central ring band 11 and the fastening bands 12,13 can both be made of cotton, but with different degrees of rigidity, where, the material used for the fastening bands 12,13 would be smoother and softer, whereas that used for the central ring band 11 would be more rigid.
- the manufacture of the bands 11-13 of the garment 10 preferably foresees the sewing of two layers of fabric, for example of different hue, in order to make a double-sided garment.
- fastening knot 14 of the fastening bands 12,13 there can preferably be foreseen adjustable hooking means (not illustrated) which offer an even greater safety against the garment 10,10' coming undone when undergoing involuntary stress.
- Such adjustable hooking means can be made, for example, through at least two portions of elastic fabric, sewn inside the fastening bands 12,13, at the ends of which a clip and a hook, or a button and an eyelet, or a portion of Velcro with hooks and another with loops, or other types of hooking means, are respectively foreseen.
- the second embodiment illustrated in figures 3-6 is a preferred variant of the women's garment 10' according to the present invention, in which, a curtain-like portion 15 of variable size, according to the model which is desired to be made, is connected, preferably in a removable manner, to the portion 11c of the central ring band 11, that is arranged at the back, and to part of the fastening bands 12,13.
- Such a second embodiment 10' can be used, for example, as a sundress.
- curtain-like portion 15 removably connected to the rest of the garment 10'
- the garment 10 without such a portion 15, for example, as the top part of a swimming costume or as a bra for wearing around the house, and to join the curtain-like portion 15 so as to transform the swimming costume into a sundress or the bra for wearing around the house into a robe.
- the second embodiment 10' of the women's garment according to the present invention is worn in an analogous way to that described above, making sure that the curtain-like portion 15 drapes downwards.
- the width of the curtain-like portion 15 substantially corresponds to the sum of the dimensions of the ring band 11 and of the two fastening bands 12,13 in an elongated configuration.
- the length of the curtain-like portion 15 does, however, vary depending on the model which is desired to be made, like for example, a T-shirt, a sundress or a robe with a length which comes down to slightly above the knee or down to the feet.
- the women's garment according to the present invention is indeed very easy to wear, needing only a front fastening arranged in the field of view of the user.
- Such a garment can also be made quickly and easily, since it is not necessary to apply special hooking means or fastenings to the part in fabric.
- the women's garment according to the present invention ensures an optimal wearability and adhesion to the body, being able to adapt perfectly to the exact sizes of the body of the user.
- the materials used, as well as the sizes, can be any according to the technical requirements.

Description
- The present invention refers to a women's garment which is easy to dress and having good wearability.
- In particular, reference is made to a women's garment of the bathing or sunbathing type or of the type which can be used for staying at home.
- Nowadays, there are already many different types of women's garments, for example of the bathing type, in which, in particular the upper part for covering and supporting the breasts, is made up of a band of fabric modelled with seams or made up of two separate covering elements, from which band or covering elements, thin support straps come down.
- The band of fabric or the covering elements are in general fixed around the bust of a user through suitable hooking means or fastening means arranged in such a way that the closure is arranged at the back of the user.
- There are also further types of such garments, which foresee two small bands which are fastened at the neck instead of having two independent straps.
- Such a garment is known, E.G. from document
WO 01/785 37 - Wearing such garments is therefore quite awkward since every version known today comprises at least one fastening arranged at the back or at the neck of the user. This means that there is the need to reach points which are quite awkward and which cannot be seen by the user, who thus has to open and/or close the hooking means or fastening means "blindly".
- The presence of hooking means or of fastening means also makes it necessary for there to be more processing steps during the production of the garment, thus making the time necessary to produce the garment longer. Finally, women's garments for the home, for bathing or for sunbathing known today do not always offer good wearability and adhesion to the body.
- There is thus the need, in the case of adjustable garments, to tighten the garment around the bust to ensure a good adhesion even in situations in which the garment undergoes external stress, like for example in water.
- This however, causes there to be an inconvenience for the user who can only decide between wearing a garment she feels too tight around her bust or getting into an embarrassing situation in the case in which the garment slides into a position in which there is no longer an adhesion with the body.
- These and other purposes according to the present invention are achieved by making a women's garment as outlined in claim 1.
- Further characteristics of the garment are object of the dependent claims.
- The characteristics and the advantaged of a women's garment according to the present invention shall become clearer from the following description, given as an example and not for limiting purposes, referring to the attached schematic drawings, in which:
-
figure 1 is a front view of a first embodiment of a women's garment according to the present invention, while it is worn; -
figure 2 is a rear view of the women's garment offigure 1 , while it is worn; -
figure 3 is a perspective plan view of the women's garment offigure 1 and2 ; -
figure 4 is a front view of a second embodiment of a women's garment according to the present invention, while it is worn; -
figure 5 is a rear view of the women's garment offigure 4 , while it is worn; -
figure 6 is a perspective plan view of the women's garment offigure 4 and5 . - With reference to the figures, a women's garment is shown wholly indicated with
reference numeral 10,10'. The women'sgarment 10,10' according to the present invention is made up of a closed ring-shapedcentral band 11 to which twofastening bands garment 10,10' around the bust of a user, are connected in two positions diametrically opposed of thecentral band 11. - As shown in
figure 1 , the women'sgarment 10,10' according to the present invention is fitted by inserting the arms inside the closed ring-shapedcentral band 11 such as to bring afirst portion 11a of such acentral band 11 to the neck, and arrange it such as that thecentral band 11 goes from the shoulders down and goes, withsecond portions 11b, around the armpits of the user, closing at the back with a third andlast portion 11c. - The two
fastening bands central ring band 11 substantially at the height of thesecond portions 11b of such aband 11 which are arranged at the armpits of the user. -
Such fastening bands central front knot 14. - The
garment 10,10' can thus be fitted without there being the need to reach areas which are awkward and arranged in positions outside the field of view of the user, thus being able to better follow the opening and closing processes of the fastening. - In the women's
garment 10,10' according to the present invention, thefastening bands - Therefore, preferably, the
fastening bands portion 16, suitable for covering the breasts, arranged near to thecentral ring portion 11, and a narrowersecond portion 17 intended to be used for fastening aknot 14, at the free end of thefastening bands - The first widened
portion 16 is preferably shaped like a cup, for example, through suitable seams (not illustrated). - The closure of the
fastening bands body 20 of the user. There is thus, on the one hand, a wearability of thegarment 10,10' which is optimized to the actual size of the body, and on the other hand, it is advantageously possible to make such a garment in just a few different sizes (for example small, medium, large) whilst still covering most of the existing standard size spectrum. This makes it possible to exploit the production of thegarment 10,10' on a large scale, in the best way possible. - Preferably, the central ring-
shaped band 11 and thecentral fastening bands garment 10,10' to thebody 20 of the user. - Alternatively, only one or more portions of the
central ring band 11 and/or of thefastening bands - In an even more preferential manner, the
fastening bands central ring band 11 is made of a high-resistance material, such a portion being subjected to higher support stresses. - For example, the materials used for making the
central ring band 11 and thefastening bands fastening bands central ring band 11 would be more rigid. - The manufacture of the bands 11-13 of the
garment 10 preferably foresees the sewing of two layers of fabric, for example of different hue, in order to make a double-sided garment. - At the
fastening knot 14 of thefastening bands garment 10,10' coming undone when undergoing involuntary stress. - Such adjustable hooking means can be made, for example, through at least two portions of elastic fabric, sewn inside the
fastening bands - The second embodiment illustrated in
figures 3-6 , is a preferred variant of the women's garment 10' according to the present invention, in which, a curtain-like portion 15 of variable size, according to the model which is desired to be made, is connected, preferably in a removable manner, to theportion 11c of thecentral ring band 11, that is arranged at the back, and to part of thefastening bands - Such a second embodiment 10' can be used, for example, as a sundress.
- In the case of embodiments with curtain-
like portion 15 removably connected to the rest of the garment 10', it is possible to use thegarment 10 without such aportion 15, for example, as the top part of a swimming costume or as a bra for wearing around the house, and to join the curtain-like portion 15 so as to transform the swimming costume into a sundress or the bra for wearing around the house into a robe. - The second embodiment 10' of the women's garment according to the present invention is worn in an analogous way to that described above, making sure that the curtain-
like portion 15 drapes downwards. - As illustrated in
figure 6 , the width of the curtain-like portion 15 substantially corresponds to the sum of the dimensions of thering band 11 and of the twofastening bands like portion 15 does, however, vary depending on the model which is desired to be made, like for example, a T-shirt, a sundress or a robe with a length which comes down to slightly above the knee or down to the feet. - From the description made, the characteristics of the women's garment object of the present invention should be clear, just as the relative advantages should also be clear.
- The women's garment according to the present invention is indeed very easy to wear, needing only a front fastening arranged in the field of view of the user. Such a garment can also be made quickly and easily, since it is not necessary to apply special hooking means or fastenings to the part in fabric.
- Moreover, the possibility of being able to make only a limited number of models whilst covering, however, most of the existing standard sizes, makes it possible to exploit the effects of large scale production, thus reducing the production costs.
- Last but not least, the women's garment according to the present invention ensures an optimal wearability and adhesion to the body, being able to adapt perfectly to the exact sizes of the body of the user.
- It should finally be clear, that the women's garment thus conceived can undergo numerous modifications and variants, all covered by the invention; moreover, all the details can be replaced by technically equivalent elements.
- In practice, the materials used, as well as the sizes, can be any according to the technical requirements.
