Abstract

The tray has a receiving case (5) for receiving a food product, where the tray is made of cardboard or corrugated board. A lid case (9) is articulated with the receiving case for closing the receiving case after introduction of the food product. A projection (35) is adapted to be engaged in a slot (17) at the exterior of a closing face of the tray. Sides (13a, 27a) forming the closing face are formed with specific configuration, surface and orientation. An independent claim is also included for a flank made of rigid or semi-rigid material, permitting to obtain a tray.
