The width of the clasp must be important to accommodate the wrapped bracelet.
  • US2005 / 0237864 describes a device for adjusting the length of a bracelet using a control wheel which causes the sliding of a strand on rails. This adjustment mechanism is not integrated in a clasp. The axis of the wheel is perpendicular to the plane of the bracelet. This solution also requires the winding of a strand around the axis of the wheel.
  • US4977614 discloses a device for adjusting the length of a notched bracelet with an adjustment wheel near the housing.
  • the axis of the roulette is parallel to the plane of the bracelet. This solution requires a bracelet whose upper surface is provided with notches.
  • EP1588642 discloses a folding clasp strap clasp implementing a wheel whose axis is once again perpendicular to the plane of the bracelet. A toothed wheel is mounted on the axis of the wheel to engage two racks under the cover of the clasp.
