Definitions
- the invention relates to a buckle, which is preferably provided for connecting bands, belts or belts with less stress.
- Mechanical buckles known from the prior art consist of two parts which can be plugged together and which interlock in a form-fitting manner. Mechanical buckles are put together by means of a predetermined force and opened with a predetermined force, with springs having to be tensioned in each case.
- the plug receptacle is designed so that the plug is guided on a predetermined path, usually in a straight line, in the plug receptacle. This guidance takes place almost without force up to a certain section where the plug meets resilient locking elements. If the plug is now pressed further into the plug receptacle with a predetermined force, the resilient locking elements are spread open or compressed, so that the plug snaps into place and the positive connection is thus created.
- the FR 2 394 266 discloses a magnetic buckle with two nestable plates, each of which has a strap attached. When plugged into one another, a conical pin with a magnet can be inserted into an opening in both plates, so that the plates mechanically over the conical pin are held together. The magnet is in magnetic interaction with a third plate made of steel or iron, which is arranged on the first plate, so that the conical pin is held in the opening.
- the EP 0 590 207 A1 discloses a magnetic buckle according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a magnetic buckle has a plug and a plug receptacle, the plug being designed so that it can be plugged into the plug receptacle.
- a fastening device is provided on the plug and on the plug receptacle, to which a belt strap or another flexible material can be fastened.
- At least one ferromagnetic armature is provided on the connector and at least one magnet is provided on the connector receptacle, it being clear to the person skilled in the art that the magnet can also be arranged on the connector and the ferromagnetic armature on or in the connector receptacle, or magnets in both the connector and the connector receptacle are provided.
- the magnet and armature lie opposite each other in a magnet-armature plane and attract each other with a magnetic attraction force F.
- This tightening force F is designed so that the buckle has the operationally desired holding force of the plug from the plug receptacle.
- the invention has the following advantages:
- the magnetic buckle contracts by itself, i. H. the plug is simply inserted into the plug receptacle and held in place by the magnetic force F.
- This property cannot be shown by a clip-on buckle based on a spring-snap mechanism, since a spring force always has to be overcome when a spring-snap mechanism is inserted.
- the buckle By using new, very strong magnets, the buckle can be made relatively small and light in relation to the locking force.
- the disadvantage of such strong magnets is the difficulty in separating the magnets from the armature. If the magnet and armature are separated by hand, there is always a jerky opening movement that is perceived as uncomfortable.
- the inventive Magnetic buckle on the other hand, can be opened very softly, which is perceived as pleasant by the user.
- the opening device causes the magnet to be pushed by the armature or the armature to be pushed by the magnet, i. H.
- the armature is drawn onto the magnet by the magnetic force in one direction x when it closes, but the armature is not removed in the opposite direction, but in a direction y which is not identical to the direction x.
- the armature faces the magnet in the magnet-armature plane.
- the armature is moved in this plane relative to the magnet until the magnetic force between the armature and the magnet is sufficiently small. According to the invention, this is done via an opening device.
- a magnetic pole is provided in the connector and in the connector receptacle, which is arranged in such a way that, when the magnetic buckle is closed, it faces a ferromagnetic armature and is polarized so that the magnetic poles repel each other when the opening device is actuated stand. This creates a soft opening feel.
- two magnetic poles each are provided in the plug and in the plug receptacle, which are polarized in such a way that, when the magnetic buckle is closed, they are oppositely drawn in pairs.
- the magnet and armature are dimensioned, arranged and stored in such a way that when the plug is inserted into the connector receptacle, the magnet and armature align themselves largely automatically in the magnet-armature plane. It is clear to the person skilled in the art that the opening device must be well supported, that is to say it must have only a low level of friction, so that the armature resets itself under the influence of the magnetic force.
- a return spring is arranged on the opening device, which returns the opening device to the starting position after opening the plug buckle.
- the opening device is designed so that the displacement of the armature in the magnet-armature plane relative to the magnet takes place so that the attractive surfaces do not touch. This prevents the attractive surfaces from rubbing against one another and creates a soft opening feel.
- attracting surfaces of the magnet and armature are bent in one direction, d. H. the magnetic surface is z. B. is convex and the anchor surface is concave. It should be emphasized that the magnetic surface does not have to have the same radius as the armature surface if a certain opening feel is to be achieved with it.
- the attracting surfaces form a circular arc section with the same center point.
- the first embodiment of the invention is based on the Figures 1 to 3 explained.
- a plug magnet 5 and two magnetic guide plates 6a, 6b are arranged in the connector receptacle 2 that matches the connector 1, a rocker arm 3 is provided as an opening device.
- a magnet 4 and two magnetic guide plates 7a, b are arranged in the rocker arm 3.
- the rocker arm 3 sits with its axis of rotation 8 in the bearing 9 of the connector receptacle 2.
- a belt receptacle 20 is provided on the plug and an adjustable belt receptacle 21 is provided on the plug receptacle.
- Fig. 1 it can be seen that in the closed state, ie when the connector is inserted in the connector receptacle, two opposing magnetic poles, ie two attracting magnetic poles, face each other.
- the distance between the poles of the two pairs of magnetic guide plates 6a, b and 7a, b is 2/10 mm. The distance is to be chosen as small as possible, whereby it must be ensured that the poles do not touch each other so that no friction occurs, since such friction would impair the soft feel of the opening.
- the rocker arm 3 is tilted up by hand so that two poles of the same name are opposite one another, as shown in FIG Fig. 2a is removable. This creates a repulsion that has a positive effect on the opening feel. This is to be understood that when opening by hand the person gets the feeling that the plug 1 is easily detached from the plug receptacle.
- the Fig. 4 Figure 3 shows an exploded view of a modified first embodiment of the invention.
- the difference from the embodiment according to Figs. 1 to 3 is that no magnetic guide plates are used, but a monolithic magnet 10 with a concave face and a ferromagnetic armature 11 with a convex face.
- two bow springs 12a / b are arranged in the upper edge area of the plug receptacle, which are pretensioned when the plug is inserted and support the separation of magnet and armature when the rocker arm 3 is tilted, so that a pleasant feel is created here as well .
- the bow springs are not absolutely necessary, because the desired feel is also achieved if the rocker arm 3 is pivoted far enough so that the attractive force is very small or equal to zero.
- FIG. 5 A second embodiment of the invention is shown in Figures 5 to 7 shown, the displacement of magnet and armature is linear, which is evident from the Fig. 5 c becomes recognizable.
- the opening device in this embodiment is a plunger 13 which is pressed in with the thumb.
- a ferromagnetic armature 14a and a magnet 14b are arranged on the plunger. This armature-magnet pair is attracted by a magnet-armature pair 15a, 15b in the plug.
- the plunger is depressed, are analogous to Fig. 2a likewise the magnetic poles 14b, 15b repulsively opposite.
- the plug is pushed out of the plug receptacle by means of the magnetic force, as in Figure 7c shown.
- the Figures 8 and 9 show a third embodiment of the invention in which the magnet and armature are displaced by rotation.
- the Figure 8a shows a circular cylindrical plug 1, which can be plugged into a plug receptacle 2 which has a receptacle opening that matches the plug.
- a rod-shaped ferromagnetic armature 11 is arranged on the plug head and a rod-shaped magnet 10 is arranged on the bottom of the receiving opening of the plug receptacle 2.
- the connector is in the in Figure 8a is inserted, the magnet and armature are parallel to each other, as shown Figure 9a can be seen, and thus attract.
- the armature and magnet are also at 90 degrees, as in Fig. 10 a is recognizable. In this position, the magnetic force that acts on the armature is greatly weakened, so that the plug can be easily pulled out.
- belt receptacles 20 and 21 with or without length adjustability are provided on the plug or plug receptacle.
- this is not intended to limit the invention to these exemplary embodiments.
- Other, not shown fastening options on one side, such as latches or welds, e.g. with a pocket are within the scope of this invention.
- the magnet and the armature must be designed so that the required holding force of the magnetic buckle is achieved.
- Magnet and armature whereby the armature can also be a magnet, are brought together at the front when closing. To open the magnet and armature are shifted to each other in such a way that the holding force between magnet and armature is weakened or canceled.
- the guide between the plug and the connector receptacle must be designed so professionally that the shift from plug to connector receptacle is permitted both in direction y to weaken the attraction of magnet and armature in direction Separation of plug and plug receptacle in direction x.
- the shear forces generated by repelling magnets must be absorbed by the mutual guide, particularly in the case of magnet systems with reversible polarity.
- the plug must be guided in the plug receptacle so expertly that it is not possible to evade in the y direction.
- Magnetic polarity reversal even creates an ejection force that pushes the connector out.
- This ejection force can also be achieved by a pre-tensioned mechanical spring.
- the spring is to be professionally dimensioned in such a way that it is pretensioned by the magnetic force when the magnetic buckle is plugged together.
- a suitable mounting of the opening device must be ensured, i.e. H. the opening device must be easy to move and always keep the magnet as close as possible to the armature.

Description
The invention relates to a buckle, which is preferably provided for connecting bands, belts or belts with less stress.
Mechanical buckles known from the prior art consist of two parts which can be plugged together and which interlock in a form-fitting manner. Mechanical buckles are put together by means of a predetermined force and opened with a predetermined force, with springs having to be tensioned in each case.
An essential feature of this type of buckle is that the plug receptacle is designed so that the plug is guided on a predetermined path, usually in a straight line, in the plug receptacle. This guidance takes place almost without force up to a certain section where the plug meets resilient locking elements. If the plug is now pressed further into the plug receptacle with a predetermined force, the resilient locking elements are spread open or compressed, so that the plug snaps into place and the positive connection is thus created.
These conventional buckles have the property that the insertion of the plug requires only simple hand movements and, if necessary, can even be carried out with one hand. It is only necessary to place the plug on the plug receiving opening and then insert the plug into the plug receiving opening. However, in order to effect the positive locking, the locking force already mentioned above must be applied at the end of the insertion movement. This can be disadvantageous or at least unwieldy under certain circumstances.
Accordingly, it is the object of the invention to provide a buckle that enables improved operability when closing.
This object is achieved with a magnetic buckle according to
A magnetic buckle has a plug and a plug receptacle, the plug being designed so that it can be plugged into the plug receptacle.
A fastening device is provided on the plug and on the plug receptacle, to which a belt strap or another flexible material can be fastened.
At least one ferromagnetic armature is provided on the connector and at least one magnet is provided on the connector receptacle, it being clear to the person skilled in the art that the magnet can also be arranged on the connector and the ferromagnetic armature on or in the connector receptacle, or magnets in both the connector and the connector receptacle are provided. When attracted, the magnet and armature lie opposite each other in a magnet-armature plane and attract each other with a magnetic attraction force F. This tightening force F is designed so that the buckle has the operationally desired holding force of the plug from the plug receptacle.
The invention has the following advantages: The magnetic buckle contracts by itself, i. H. the plug is simply inserted into the plug receptacle and held in place by the magnetic force F. This property cannot be shown by a clip-on buckle based on a spring-snap mechanism, since a spring force always has to be overcome when a spring-snap mechanism is inserted.
By using new, very strong magnets, the buckle can be made relatively small and light in relation to the locking force. The disadvantage of such strong magnets, however, is the difficulty in separating the magnets from the armature. If the magnet and armature are separated by hand, there is always a jerky opening movement that is perceived as uncomfortable. The inventive Magnetic buckle, on the other hand, can be opened very softly, which is perceived as pleasant by the user.
The function and effect of the opening device are described below. The opening device causes the magnet to be pushed by the armature or the armature to be pushed by the magnet, i. H. The armature is drawn onto the magnet by the magnetic force in one direction x when it closes, but the armature is not removed in the opposite direction, but in a direction y which is not identical to the direction x. In other words, in the closed state, the armature faces the magnet in the magnet-armature plane. To open it, the armature is moved in this plane relative to the magnet until the magnetic force between the armature and the magnet is sufficiently small. According to the invention, this is done via an opening device.
According to
According to
According to
According to
According to claim 6, the opening device is designed so that the displacement of the armature in the magnet-armature plane relative to the magnet takes place so that the attractive surfaces do not touch. This prevents the attractive surfaces from rubbing against one another and creates a soft opening feel.
According to claim 7 attracting surfaces of the magnet and armature are bent in one direction, d. H. the magnetic surface is z. B. is convex and the anchor surface is concave. It should be emphasized that the magnetic surface does not have to have the same radius as the armature surface if a certain opening feel is to be achieved with it.
According to

It is clear from the various embodiments that the technical teaching of the invention can be varied in many ways without the person skilled in the art having to be inventive. The following features are required in the construction of the invention: The magnet and the armature must be designed so that the required holding force of the magnetic buckle is achieved. Magnet and armature, whereby the armature can also be a magnet, are brought together at the front when closing. To open the magnet and armature are shifted to each other in such a way that the holding force between magnet and armature is weakened or canceled. If the connector and the connector receptacle are shifted directly against each other in a case that is not claimed, the guide between the plug and the connector receptacle must be designed so professionally that the shift from plug to connector receptacle is permitted both in direction y to weaken the attraction of magnet and armature in direction Separation of plug and plug receptacle in direction x. In this case, the shear forces generated by repelling magnets must be absorbed by the mutual guide, particularly in the case of magnet systems with reversible polarity.
If the armature is displaced in the y direction via the opening device according to the invention, the plug must be guided in the plug receptacle so expertly that it is not possible to evade in the y direction.
Magnetic polarity reversal even creates an ejection force that pushes the connector out. This ejection force can also be achieved by a pre-tensioned mechanical spring. In this case, the spring is to be professionally dimensioned in such a way that it is pretensioned by the magnetic force when the magnetic buckle is plugged together. To improve the haptics, a suitable mounting of the opening device must be ensured, i.e. H. the opening device must be easy to move and always keep the magnet as close as possible to the armature.
