Definitions
- the invention relates to a packaging according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing a folded box as packaging.
- the packaging is designed as a folding box, which has two lateral walls formed as a hollow side walls.
- the vertically erected transverse side walls are connected via a Gelenkfalz fixed to a rear wall.
- a front wall is arranged, which is hinged together with an adjoining, a blister-carrying portion.
- the front side wall is connected to the transverse side wall in each case via a Gelenkfalz, wherein the folded portion rests on the transverse side walls and thus forms a kind of lid part.
- a cover section adjoining the rear wall is closed, wherein an insertion tongue arranged on the cover section is inserted into a slot between the front wall and the aforementioned section in order to hold the end position.
- the handling of the packaging has proven to be difficult in terms of manufacturing technology.
- the FR 2 673 599 A1 shows a folding box with two designed as prismatic hollow side walls QueractedCCden. Both hollow side walls are provided with slots, in each of which lateral tabs of a hinged to the box bottom wall portion can be inserted.
- a folding box with prismatic hollow side walls concerns the FR 1 514 175 A
- the hollow side walls are attached to a frame-shaped box part and can be erected.
- the carton has a bottom portion with side tabs which are fixable for fixing the erected position of the hollow side walls when erecting the hollow side walls with these by a connector.
- the carton then has a lid portion which rests in a closed position on the frame-shaped box section.
- the packaging should continue to require as few adhesive joints. This object is achieved according to the invention with a package having the features in claim 1.
- Each side wall can be hingedly connected to the bottom portion and erected from the plane of the bottom portion.
- the latching means assigned to the transverse side walls on the one hand and the latching means assigned to the lid part on the other hand cooperate in such a way that an automatic latching takes place during the erection process and the end position is held after latching. With the help of this locking connection, a sufficiently stable end position of the carton can be ensured.
- Another advantage of the packaging is that it is easy to handle for making the end position.
- the folding box is preferably made of cardboard or a cardboard laminate and can be made particularly preferably from a blank.
- the bottom portion, the lid portion, the front side wall and the opposite rear side wall can be stabilized by securing means such that they form a prismatic hollow body.
- This intermediate position can be created before erecting the transverse side walls.
- securing means z. B mechanical means for producing a male or a snap-in connection in question.
- such a hollow body could be secured in other ways.
- the intermediate position could be secured by the use of glue or adhesive tape to make an adhesive bond.
- the rear side wall may be formed as a hinge strip, which is followed by a preferably foldable lid portion, which rests flat in the intermediate position on the lid part.
- a cover portion could connect to the rear wall but also a web, which can partially overlap the cover part in the intermediate position.
- the packaging can advantageously contain as securing means a Einsteckzunge and a corresponding slot for receiving the insertion tongue. These cooperating mechanical means are easy to prepare and are characterized by easy handling.
- the slot may preferably be arranged in the region of the fold line separating the front wall and the cover part.
- the securing means may include, for example, an insertion tongue arranged on the cover part and a corresponding slot, the slot being arranged in the region of the fold line separating the back wall and the web.
- the latching means may include on the transverse side wall or the cover part associated latching tongues which engage in the end position each detent in a cover part or the transverse side wall associated stop.
- at least one latching tongue can be arranged on each transverse side wall.
- the cover part would in this case have corresponding stops which cooperate for producing the latching connection with the respective locking tongues.
- each transverse side wall has at least two locking tongues. This arrangement ensures a stable position of the erected transverse side walls in the end position.
- the locking tongues may be predetermined by cutting lines or by predetermined breaking lines in the connecting web.
- the latching tongues can be hinged out of the plane of the connecting web during the erection process.
- the locking tongues can connect to the inner walls of the transverse side walls and be separated by fold line sections of the inner walls.
- the fold line sections can run on the fold line, which separates the inner wall from the connecting web in each case.
- the fold line sections ensure that the latching tongues can fold in at the desired position in the folding direction during the latching process.
- the fold line sections can be predetermined by a continuous fold line. However, it may be advantageous if the fold line sections are weakened less with respect to the fold line, whereby a sufficient resilience of the latching tongues in the opposite direction to the Einklappraum is ensured for a reliable latching connection.
- the fold line may be formed by a score line.
- the lower weakening can be achieved in this case, for example, that only a portion of the width of the fold line sections is scratched and the rest of the part is merely grooved.
- an interruption may also be provided between the fold line and the respective scored (or possibly grooved) parts of the fold line sections, as a result of which the latching tongues are also approximately in the plane during the erection process the inner wall can remain and in this way are automatically hinged out of the plane of the connecting web.
- the cover part can be constructed in at least two layers and contain a base section and a second section for forming the second layer.
- the base portion can connect to the front wall and be connected to this preferably in one piece.
- the voltage applied to the base portion in the folded position second portion may preferably be glued to the base portion, wherein the stop for the latching connection is formed by at least one edge in the second portion.
- Such an edge, which forms a stop for the latching connection may for example be formed by a recess in the second section.
- the cover part can be constructed at least in two layers only in lateral areas which respectively face the latching tongues.
- the packaging may have a base portion and two lateral tabs for respectively forming the second layer. These tabs are therefore arranged on the same side as the transverse side walls. A respective stop for the latching connection can then be formed by at least one recess in each tab. The attacks must of course not necessarily be formed by corresponding recesses. So can also form side edges of the tabs stops for the locking connection instead.
- the tabs can connect laterally to the base portion and be separated from this in each case by fold lines. Thus, these hinged tabs can be folded from a flat rest position and preferably connected by gluing to the base portion. This arrangement is characterized by a lower cost of materials.
- each latching tongue being associated with a corresponding recess.
- the recess can be dimensioned in each case such that in the end position it can receive or receive the corresponding latching tongue approximately accurately.
- a blister for packaged goods such as tablets, capsules, dragées, etc. may be sandwiched or used between the base section and the second section.
- the second section may have recesses for receiving the wells of the blister and the base portion open or closed discharge openings through which the packaged goods can be removed.
- Such blisters have long been known and in use.
- the lid part may, for example, carry a blister with welded-in packaged goods.
- Such blisters are also used in particular for packaging pharmaceutical products, such as pills or capsules, and have been known and used for a long time.
- the present inventive package is not only suitable as packaging for packaging blisters.
- the cover part can also carry at least one individual container, which can be separated at a predetermined breaking point.
- the single container can be a bottle-like or ampoule-like structure made of plastic material. It is also conceivable a foil bag, tubular bag or the like. Such containers are also used for example for the delivery of patterns for perfume, ointments, etc. Another application of the packaging may for example be the packaging of books.
- a between the bottom portion and a further portion Blister for packaged be sandwiched used or used.
- the further portion recesses for receiving the wells of the blister and the bottom portion may have open or closed discharge openings through which the packaged goods can be removed.
- the invention may also relate to a blank for the previously described packaging.
- the blank may include the bottom portion, the four side walls and at least the base portion of the lid portion, wherein the individual sections are predetermined by fold lines.
- the blank may further include the lid portion. Then it would in principle even possible to articulate the second portion of the lid part to the base portion and assign it to the blank.
- Another aspect of the invention relates to a method for producing a folded box as packaging according to claim 16.
- the method is characterized essentially by two process steps.
- a stable prismatic hollow body of the bottom portion, the lid part, the front wall and the opposite rear wall is created.
- the position in which a stable prismatic hollow body is present is referred to as an intermediate position.
- the transverse side walls are erected out of the plane of the bottom section, the lateral side walls being latchingly connected to the cover part during the erection process.
- the end position can be achieved in a particularly simple manner in only two steps.
- FIG. 1 is a designated 1 package for packaging blister packs.
- the cups of the two blisters are denoted by 23 on the one hand and 27 on the other.
- the packaging is not only suitable for the packaging of blisters, but also for other packaged goods.
- the packaging can also be used, for example, for packaging books (see, eg Fig. 10 ).
- the packaging consists of a bottom part, four side walls 4, 5, 6, a lid part 3 with a blister sandwiched therein and a lid portion 9.
- the side walls 6, which are hereinafter referred to as transverse side walls, formed as a prismatic hollow side walls.
- Each hollow side wall consists of an inner wall 11, an outer wall 13 and a connecting web 12 connecting them
- FIG. 1 are the transverse side walls 6 almost completely erected for better illustration. However, before reaching an intermediate position described in more detail below, the transverse side walls 6 would generally remain in the plane of the bottom part.
- each transverse side wall 6 has two locking tongues 7, which are each opened against the plane of a connecting web 12.
- corresponding recesses 8 can be seen, which cooperate with the locking tongues 7 for producing a detent connection described in more detail below.
- FIG. 1 is visible that on the cover portion 9 a insertion tongue 14 is arranged.
- a corresponding slot 15 is arranged in the region of a fold line which separates the front side wall 4 and a base portion of the lid part 3.
- the lid section 9 can then be folded in from the other side and finally the insertion tongue 14 can be inserted into the slot 15.
- FIG. 2 Such an intermediate position is in FIG. 2 shown.
- the transverse side walls 6 are in FIG. 2 Evidently already partially erected. For erecting the transverse side walls, the outer wall 13 can be acted upon by an erecting force indicated by the arrow F.
- FIG. 3 shows the package 1 in such an end position.
- FIG. 4 shows a blank 34 for the previously described packaging.
- a bottom section 2 has closed discharge openings, which are closed by means of tear-away securing segments 29. Of course, the discharge openings can also be designed open.
- the bottom section 2 forms with a blister and another section (see FIG. 6 ) the bottom part of the packaging.
- Each side of the bottom section 2, the respective side walls connect, which are separated by fold lines from the bottom portion.
- the strip-shaped sections 13, 12, 11 and 36 are provided for the transverse side walls.
- the section 36 is an adhesive flap which serves as an adhesive surface for fastening to the bottom section 2 (cf. FIG. 7 ).
- the locking tongues 7 are evidently formed by approximately U-shaped cutting lines.
- the locking tongues 7 are separated by fold line sections 19 from the section 11 for the inner wall of the transverse side walls.
- the fold line and the respective fold line sections 19 advantageously have different material weakenings.
- the fold line sections 19 are less weakened with respect to the fold line, whereby a resilience of the locking tongues 7 is given in the opposite direction to the Einklappraum.
- the fold line can be formed for example by a score line.
- the fold line sections 19 are then only partially scored, while the remaining part is merely grooved (or simply interrupted without material weakening). In this way, it is possible that the locking tongues 7 would remain about during the erection process in the plane of the inner wall and in this way are automatically hinged out of the plane of the connecting web.
- the thus-shaped fold line sections 19 furthermore ensure a defined folding in of the latching tongues during the latching process.
- FIG. 5 shows a blank 21 for a second section, which is adapted to receive a blister to the base portion 20 (FIG. FIG. 4 ) is glued.
- This blank 21 has recesses 24 through which the wells of a blister are feasible.
- recesses 8 arranged in the corners can be seen, which serve as latching means cooperating with the latching tongues.
- the blank may consist of cardboard or a cardboard laminate. Of course, it would also be conceivable to produce the blank from a relatively rigid plastic film.
- FIG. 7 shows a prefabricated planar arrangement with the blank according to FIG. 4 and the blanks or sections adhered thereto in each case in accordance with FIGS. 5 and 6 (for simplicity, without blister inserted).
- the sections 12, 11 and 36 were folded inward and the adhesive flap 36 glued to the bottom portion 2.
- Such a prefabricated arrangement can be input into a packaging line for producing the packaging on the input side.
- the section 35 could be dispensed with.
- a one-piece embodiment would also be conceivable (cf. Fig. 10 ).
- FIG. 8 are the bottom portion 2, not shown front and rear walls and the lid part in the intermediate position in which they form a stable, prismatic hollow body.
- Over the second portion 21 of the lid part. 3 lies flat on the lid portion 6, which is inserted to secure the intermediate position on its insertion tongue in the corresponding slot (not shown).
- the prismatically formed transverse side wall 6 can be erected in the manner of a parallelogram from the plane of the bottom section 2.
- the latching tongue 7 extends at least in a first phase approximately in the plane of the inner wall 11. By unfolding the latching tongue 7, a corresponding recess in the connecting web 12 evidently arises.
- FIG. 9 shows the transverse side wall 6 in a fully upright position (end position).
- the front end of the latching tongue 7 is located on the stop 17, formed by the recess 8, and thus prevents swiveling out of the hollow side wall to the outside. Due to the resilience of the locking tongues they are against the cover part (ie in Fig. 9 So up) pressed, creating a reliable locking connection is guaranteed.
- the packaging may also be predetermined by a single blank.
- the blank 34 On the blank 34 no further separate sections of cardboard or cardboard laminate need to be attached.
- the second portion 21 is integrally connected to the base portion 20 and seen from this only separated by a fold line.
- the bottom of the package is defined by the bottom portion 2.
- the blank 34 according to FIG. 10 differs from the blank according to FIG. 4 Then by the fact that in each case on both sides of the outer walls 13 nose portions 37 are arranged, each projecting opposite to the bottom portion 2 and the front wall 4 on the one hand and the bottom portion 2 and the rear wall 5 on the other hand from each other separating fold line.
- the nose portions 37 serve that in upright position of the transverse side walls this can not be pushed further inward.
- the respective edges of the front side wall 4 and the rear side wall 5 form stops for the nose portions 37 of the transverse side walls to limit the pivoting movement inwards.
- the edges of the front side wall 4 and the rear side wall 5 are evidently offset back in each case inwardly, so that the four indentations 38 designated by 38 are formed. These indentations 38 allow during the erecting process a pivoting movement, which goes slightly beyond 90 °, whereby a reliable locking can be ensured.
- FIG. 11 shows an alternative solution by way of example. How out FIG. 11 As can be seen, close on the base portion 20 for the lid part on both sides inwardly hinged tabs 39, wherein the folded tabs are to be connected to the base portion 20 by gluing. These laterally hinged at the base portion 20 tabs 39 are obviously separated by fold lines (shown as a double-dashed line) from the base portion 20. Each tab 39 has two recesses 8, which cooperate with the latching tongues 7 for the latching connection.
- FIG. 13 is a 34 'designated by means of folding and gluing operations partially prepared planar arrangement with a cover part of base portion 20 and attached to this by gluing tabs 39 recognizable.
- FIG. 14 an embodiment of the package 1 is shown, which could be used for example for the packaging of books.
- a book would only have to be placed on the bottom part between the transverse side walls 6 and the carton finally closed.
- Another difference from the embodiment according to the FIGS. 1 to 7 consists for example in that - instead of a cover portion - a web 30 adjoining the rear side wall 5 is provided. Approximately in the region of the folding line between the web 30 and the rear side wall 5, a slot 32 is arranged, in which a Einsteckzunge 31 of the cover part 3 can be inserted. In the intermediate position of the web would be arranged on the inside and would lie flat against the cover part 3.
- the transverse side walls 6 are substantially similar - as in the aforementioned embodiment - formed.
