Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein System zur Verwaltung einer Parkzone (P1-P3) mit gebührenpflichtigen Abstellplätzen (P11-P33) für Fahrzeuge (V), insbesondere einer an oder auf einer öffentlichen Straße (S1-S4) angelegter Parkzone (P1-P3), umfassend einen den Abstellplätzen (P11-P33) zugeordneten Automaten (41-43) zur Bezahlung einer Parkgebühr für einen Abstellplatz (P11-P33). Indem an jedem Abstellplatz (P11-P33) mindestens ein Fahrzeugdetektor (60) angeordnet ist, der zur Bestimmung des Belegungszustandes des Abstellplatzes (P11-P33) ausgebildet ist, und indem Kommunikationsmittel (46, 64) zur drahtlosen Datenübertragung zwischen je einem Fahrzeugdetektor (60) und dem Parkgebührenautomaten (41-43) vorgesehen sind, mittels welcher den Belegungszustand darstellende Daten übertragbar sind, wird ein Parkzonenverwaltungssystem bereitgestellt, welches den aktuellen Belegungszustand der Abstellplätze (P11-P33) der verwalteten Parkzone (P1-P3) zeitnah und möglichst platzgenau angeben kann.
