Claims (7)
- A foldable crane (1), in particular a vehicle crane, comprising a rotatably mounted crane column (2), a pivotal arm system (3) which is pivotably mounted thereto and which has a lift arm (4) and a telescopic articulated arm (5) rotatably hingedly connected to the lift arm (4), at least one lift cylinder (6) acting between the crane column (2) and the lift arm (4) and at least one articulation cylinder (7) acting between the lift arm (4) and the articulated arm (5), wherein the crane column (2), the lift arm (4) and the articulated arm (5) are arranged in a Z-shape in the folded-together condition of the crane and the lift arm (4) in the region of its pivotal connection (8) to the articulated arm (5) has a preferably forked receiving portion (9) for the articulated arm (5), wherein the spacing (a) between the axis of rotation (10) of the pivotal connection (8) and the pivotal mounting point (11) of the articulation cylinder (7) on the lift arm (4) is greater than the spacing (b) between the axis of rotation (10) of the pivotal connection (8) and the pivotal mounting point (12) of the articulation cylinder (7) on the articulated arm (5), characterised in that the articulated arm (5) is in the form of a shaped tube in which a telescopic arm (13) is displaceably mounted, wherein the receiving region of the articulated arm (4) for the telescopic arm (13) extends substantially preferably directly to the pivotal connection (8) to the lift arm (4).
- A crane according to claim 1 characterised in that the at least one articulation cylinder (7) is rotatably pivotably connected in laterally outwardly disposed relationship to the lift arm (4) and to the articulated arm (5).
- A crane according to claim 2 characterised by two articulation cylinders (7, 7') which are pivotably mounted at opposite sides to the lift arm (4) and to the articulated arm (5).
- A crane according to one of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that the pivotal mounting point or points (11, 11') of the articulation cylinder or cylinders (7, 7') on the lift arm (4) is or are arranged outside the receiving portion (9) for the articulated arm (5).
- A crane according to one of claims 1 to 4 characterised in that the angle of movement (α) which the articulation cylinder or cylinders (7, 7') includes or include between the two end positions (E. E') thereof is less than 80°, preferably less than 60°.
- A crane according to claim 5 characterised in that the angle of movement (α) of the articulation cylinder (7, 7') is between 20° and 50°, preferably at about 35°.
- A crane according to one of claims 1 to 6 characterised in that the ratio of the spacing (a) between the axis of rotation (10) of the pivotal connection (8) and the pivotal mounting point (11, 11') of the articulation cylinder (7) on the lift arm (4) to the spacing (b) between the axis of rotation (10) of the pivotal connection (8) and the pivotal mounting point (12, 12') of the articulation cylinder (7, 7') on the articulated arm (5) is between 4:1 and 1.5:1, preferably between 3:1 and 2:1.
