Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for securing multi-layered partition elements in a building. It is particularly well suited to so-called "frameless" partition wall elements made of fire-resistant glass to be attached demountable to surrounding masonry.
- frameless partition elements is meant here that a wall surface element is not enclosed by a frame in the uninstalled state, but that the end faces of its sheet material are exposed.
- a kind of enclosure of the wall surface element is formed only after installation as a connection and seal to the adjacent masonry, this enclosure in the normal on the wall surface element as possible not projecting beyond this, but should flush with it.
- the edge of the surface element should be as close as possible to the surrounding masonry, the connecting and sealing enclosure described so be as thin as possible. This should also be achieved under the condition that the connection between the wall surface element and the surrounding masonry should be mechanically safe and strong but yet so far solvable that the wall surface element can be solved without destruction of the masonry and if desired at another location again connected.
- the surface element is placed in a prepared frame which forms a stop surface against the end faces of the surface element and against the adjoining region of a side surface. Thereafter, strips are attached to the frame, which form a stop on the second side of the surface element.
- This type of fastening is simple and safe to produce, but has the disadvantage that the enclosure in the direction normal to the surface element extends considerably beyond this, and thus forms an undesirable in some cases, especially for optical reasons frame.
- the R-A- 2 131 703 shows frontally arranged on a wall element connecting parts for fixing the wall element to strips, which are the wall element frontally surrounding in turn attached to the surrounding masonry.
- a connecting part comprises the end face of the wall element in the direction normal to the plane of the wall element.
- the part of the connecting part which is in contact with the strip on the brickwork is movable relative to that part which is in communication with the wall element, with elastic deformation of the piece lying therebetween in the plane of the wall element.
- the DE 36 02 359 1 shows a partition for clean rooms, wherein a wall element is bordered by an open towards the end face of the wall element U-profile. From the U-profile fasteners protrude, for example, under elastic bias to frame elements.
- DE 36 02 359 shows a fastening system with a partition wall element and a connecting part according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the inventor has set himself the task of developing a method for a frameless, demountable, easy to produce attachment of multi-layered partition elements to a surrounding masonry in a building. It should also meet requirements for fire protection walls and it should not be glued mounting hardware with the partition elements.
- a parallel to the edges extending rail is used with approximately U-shaped cross-sectional shape such that it forms a partition wall element comprehensive groove-like depression in the masonry.
- a plurality of identical connecting parts are arranged between edge regions of the partition wall element and parallel to the masonry extending rail.
- Such a connecting part consists of a U-profile piece which extends parallel to the edge region of the partition wall element, projects with its legs between the outer surface elements of the partition wall element and abuts the flanks of the legs of surface elements of the partition wall element and so that the two Shenkel, each with the surface of the groove formed in common with each other lie against a surface of the partition wall element that extends parallel to the plane of the partition wall element.
- a spring member connected thereto in the masonry groove-like depression and is under elastic bias to the bottom or on the flanks of this groove-like depression.
- the partition wall element is a fire protection pane 2, which consists of at least three individual panes.
- the two outer individual disks 2.1 are held at a distance 2.4 at the middle individual disk 2.2 by connecting elements 2.3 which rotate close to the disk edge.
- each connecting part 4 extends with its longitudinal direction in the direction of the disc edge, comprising with its legs 4.1.1 the edge of the middle single disc 2.2 and is thereon via a slight interference fit (directly or via an intermediate layer of a soft material), or by adhesion with the assistance of a paste-like intermediate layer, for example a silicone composition.
- the connecting part 4 rests against the fire protection pane 2 only at the middle individual pane 2.2 and not at the outer individual panes 2.1. This prevents dangerous heat transfer between different individual panes taking place in the event of fire via the connecting part.
- the thickness of the legs 4.1.1 of the U-shaped section 4.1 of the connecting part 4 is so much smaller than the width of the distance 2.4 between the middle single disc 2.2 and the outer individual slices 2.1, that in the remaining gap still the fire protection strip 6.1 can be performed. This ensures that the fire protection strip in the region of the connecting piece 4 in the event of fire his meaningful task, namely dams and heat can meet.
- the fixing part 4.3 consists of a short profile part with approximately U-shaped cross-sectional area, wherein the free ends 4.3.3 of the two legs 4.3.2 are slightly bent to each other. He is with respect to profile direction and profile opening arranged as the U-profile piece 4.1, and it is designed so large that it can include the U-profile piece 4.1 in this position.
- its legs 4.3.2 are so much longer than the legs 4.1.1 of the U-profile piece 4.1, that when the bent leg ends 4.3.3 rest against the leg ends of the U-profile piece 4.1, the base of the U a distance to the base of the U-sectional area of the U-profile piece 4.1 occupies. This distance is at least slightly greater than the sheet thickness of the designed as a leaf spring spring part 4.2.
- the projecting in the relaxed state of the U-shaped piece 4.1 part of the spring member 4.2 can be kept under elastic bias on the U-profile piece 4.1 by first pressed on this and then by the fixing part on the U-profile piece is moved so that he Cross-sectional area of the pressed-on spring part includes.
- the fixing part must again be able to be pushed away from this position.
- the fixing part 4.3 is bent with the front side of the base of its U-profile part Tabs 4.3.1 provided. At the acute angle between these tabs and the base of the U-profile part can be done well with the tip of a screwdriver and move the fixing part 4.3 along the U-profile piece 4.1.
- the U-profile piece 4.1 By properly dimensioning the U-profile piece 4.1 in contact with the disc in a slight interference fit, its holding function on the disc can be made insensitive to manufacturing tolerances of the widths of the individual parts used.
- a correspondingly thin sheet By using a correspondingly thin sheet, it is namely possible to spread apart the legs 4.1.1 of the U-profile under elastic deformation in a sufficiently wide range to the appropriate pane thickness, without causing the discs dangerous large forces per length occur.
- the necessary holding forces can be applied, the profile piece must be designed only long enough.
- a good dimensioning to meet according to which also advantageous shape details such as a slight curvature of the two legs or in a relaxed state is considered not parallel to each other but facing each other angular orientation is part of the normal professional activity of designers.
- the U-shaped piece of the connecting part can also rest with the outside of its two legs on a single surface.
- the connecting part can also be used complementary to the example shown, namely so that it with his U-profile part on abuts surrounding masonry and engages with the spring member in a space on the partition wall element.
- the spring part 4.2 which is shown as a wide leaf spring, would then have to be fork-shaped, or be replaced by two narrower leaf springs arranged at a distance parallel to one another, one of which then being abutted on one side of this web.
- the "U-profile piece" (4.1) designated base part of the connecting part 1 is actually executed in the simplest and very optimal case as a U-profile. Decisive for the function is that it forms a groove bounded by two flanks whose opening surface has an extension in the direction normal to the plane of the surface element. The way in which the flanks and the bridge which is necessarily required for the connection of these flanks are, moreover, not decisive for the basic function.

Description
The invention relates to a method for securing multi-layered partition elements in a building. It is particularly well suited to so-called "frameless" partition wall elements made of fire-resistant glass to be attached demountable to surrounding masonry.
By "frameless" partition elements is meant here that a wall surface element is not enclosed by a frame in the uninstalled state, but that the end faces of its sheet material are exposed. A kind of enclosure of the wall surface element is formed only after installation as a connection and seal to the adjacent masonry, this enclosure in the normal on the wall surface element as possible not projecting beyond this, but should flush with it. For optical reasons, the edge of the surface element should be as close as possible to the surrounding masonry, the connecting and sealing enclosure described so be as thin as possible. This should also be achieved under the condition that the connection between the wall surface element and the surrounding masonry should be mechanically safe and strong but yet so far solvable that the wall surface element can be solved without destruction of the masonry and if desired at another location again connected.

A connecting part comprises the end face of the wall element in the direction normal to the plane of the wall element. The three last-mentioned designs are not applicable in the form described, if the partition to be mounted should provide effective fire protection.
The inventor has set himself the task of developing a method for a frameless, demountable, easy to produce attachment of multi-layered partition elements to a surrounding masonry in a building. It should also meet requirements for fire protection walls and it should not be glued mounting hardware with the partition elements.
To solve the problem, it is provided that in which the partition wall element surrounding masonry in the plane of the partition element lying, a parallel to the edges extending rail is used with approximately U-shaped cross-sectional shape such that it forms a partition wall element comprehensive groove-like depression in the masonry. Between edge regions of the partition wall element and parallel to the masonry extending rail, a plurality of identical connecting parts are arranged. Such a connecting part consists of a U-profile piece which extends parallel to the edge region of the partition wall element, projects with its legs between the outer surface elements of the partition wall element and abuts the flanks of the legs of surface elements of the partition wall element and so that the two Shenkel, each with the surface of the groove formed in common with each other lie against a surface of the partition wall element that extends parallel to the plane of the partition wall element. From the side facing away from the legs of the base of the U-shaped piece protrudes a spring member connected thereto in the masonry groove-like depression and is under elastic bias to the bottom or on the flanks of this groove-like depression. For the assembly process and, if necessary, the process of disassembly of this spring member can be clamped with a clamp to the base of the U-profile piece.

- Plastering the surrounding masonry and attaching the floor covering, so that
support rail 11 and groove profile 3 flush with it. - Attaching the formed from a flat U-profile
lower support rail 9 on thesupport rail 11. The rotatably attached to thesupport rail 9elongated tabs 10 are rotated with its longitudinal direction parallel to the support rail. - Inserting the
fire protection plate 8 in the retaining rail. 9 - Attaching the self-adhesive, in case of fire swelling fire protection strips 6.1 and 6.2 at the edge of the inner surfaces of the outer discs 2.1 or in the bottom of the groove profile. 3
- Attaching connecting
parts 4 to the upper edge of the disc and those lateral edge of the disc, which is to be connected to the surrounding masonry.
The U-profile piece 4.1 of each connecting
- Place the
fire protection pane 2 with the lower end face of the middle single pane 2.2 on thefire protection plate 8 in thelower holding rail 9. - Move the
firing screen 2 in the longitudinal direction of the lower support rail to fit linearly and rotate it around this lower layer in the correct (vertical) orientation. - Move the fixing part 4.3 of the connecting part so that the spring part 4.2 is "released" and moved with its not attached to the
profile piece 4 end in the groove formed by the groove 3 on adjacent masonry groove and rests against the boundaries of the cross-sectional area of this groove under elastic bias , The movement of the spring part takes place in the plane of the disc; Normally, the spring part is rigid. The fire screen is thus secured against movement normal to your plane. - Turning up the
elongated tabs 10 on thelower support rail 9, so that they extend into the space between the discs 2.4 of the fire panel and thus prevent the lower edge of movement of thefire panel 2 normal to its plane. - Introducing mineral wool (in the form of strings) in the cavity between the masonry (1) and end faces of the fire protection pane (2).
- Sealing the gap between the end faces of the outer individual discs 2.2 and the surrounding
masonry 1 by applying a pasty mass on silicone or acrylic, which cures to a rubber-elastic sealing profile 7.
It is advantageous to produce the individual components of the connecting part of sheet metal, preferably steel sheet. By this choice of material advantages over plastic are achieved that the required strength is given even in the heating occurring in case of fire, and that the required for the normal function elastic bias of the spring member 4.2 is easily maintained over the life of the building.
The connecting
The thickness of the legs 4.1.1 of the U-shaped section 4.1 of the connecting
The fixing part 4.3 consists of a short profile part with approximately U-shaped cross-sectional area, wherein the free ends 4.3.3 of the two legs 4.3.2 are slightly bent to each other. He is with respect to profile direction and profile opening arranged as the U-profile piece 4.1, and it is designed so large that it can include the U-profile piece 4.1 in this position. In the cross-sectional view its legs 4.3.2 are so much longer than the legs 4.1.1 of the U-profile piece 4.1, that when the bent leg ends 4.3.3 rest against the leg ends of the U-profile piece 4.1, the base of the U a distance to the base of the U-sectional area of the U-profile piece 4.1 occupies. This distance is at least slightly greater than the sheet thickness of the designed as a leaf spring spring part 4.2. Thus, the projecting in the relaxed state of the U-shaped piece 4.1 part of the spring member 4.2 can be kept under elastic bias on the U-profile piece 4.1 by first pressed on this and then by the fixing part on the U-profile piece is moved so that he Cross-sectional area of the pressed-on spring part includes. To release the spring part, the fixing part must again be able to be pushed away from this position. In order to enable the release and fixing of the spring member from the adjacent position or in the applied position, even if the connecting part is arranged on the fire protection screen and this on the wall, the fixing part 4.3 is bent with the front side of the base of its U-profile part Tabs 4.3.1 provided. At the acute angle between these tabs and the base of the U-profile part can be done well with the tip of a screwdriver and move the fixing part 4.3 along the U-profile piece 4.1.
By properly dimensioning the U-profile piece 4.1 in contact with the disc in a slight interference fit, its holding function on the disc can be made insensitive to manufacturing tolerances of the widths of the individual parts used. By using a correspondingly thin sheet, it is namely possible to spread apart the legs 4.1.1 of the U-profile under elastic deformation in a sufficiently wide range to the appropriate pane thickness, without causing the discs dangerous large forces per length occur. Thus, the necessary holding forces can be applied, the profile piece must be designed only long enough. In this regard, a good dimensioning to meet, according to which also advantageous shape details such as a slight curvature of the two legs or in a relaxed state is considered not parallel to each other but facing each other angular orientation is part of the normal professional activity of designers.
Especially if the possible heat transfer between different individual surfaces of a partition wall element is not a problem, the U-shaped piece of the connecting part can also rest with the outside of its two legs on a single surface.
In applications where a higher point load on the partition wall element brings no significant disadvantage, the connecting part can also be used complementary to the example shown, namely so that it with his U-profile part on abuts surrounding masonry and engages with the spring member in a space on the partition wall element.
Instead of a recess on the surrounding masonry, it would also be possible to increase, in the simplest case in the form of a protruding from the wall surface profile web and to let it attack the connection to the partition wall element. Using the example of the connecting part shown, the spring part 4.2, which is shown as a wide leaf spring, would then have to be fork-shaped, or be replaced by two narrower leaf springs arranged at a distance parallel to one another, one of which then being abutted on one side of this web.
The "U-profile piece" (4.1) designated base part of the connecting
