Die bekannte Leitung zeichnet sich durch einen Leitungsaufbau aus, bei dem jeweils fünf Adern um einen zugfesten Kern zu einem Bündel verseilt sind, und sechs dieser Bündel sind dann mit kurzer Schlaglänge um das Tragorgan angeordnet, wobei das Tragorgan als drehungsfreies Stahlseil ausgebildet ist. Die Vorteile dieser Konstruktion sind:

Im Zentrum der Leitung ist ein Tragorgan 3 vorgesehen, welches ein verdrehungsfreies Stahlseil 3a sowie eine isolierende Gummihülle 3b aufweist. Der Mantel 5 besteht aus zwei Schichten 5a und 5b, zwischen denen ein Torsionsschutzgeflecht 4 vorgesehen ist. Die Schichten 5a und 5b bestehen vorteilhafterweise aus einem chlorhaltigen Kautschuk, der ölbeständig, schwer entflammbar sowie weiterreiß- und abriebfest ist.
