  2. Locking fitting for a sliding leaf according to claim 1, characterised in that the transversal wall (22), defining the stop plane, includes a tip for centering (23) said restoring spring (20).
  3. Locking fitting for a sliding leaf according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the spring (20) is maintained prestressed between the hitching organ (11) and the stop plane defined by the transversal wall (22).
  4. Locking fitting for a sliding leaf according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that said retaining means (17) are defined by tongues (24) elastically foldable in the direction of the longitudinal median plane of the locking fitting (1) and include a rim (26) forming a set-back, in order, in co-operation with said openings (18) in the parallel walls (4, 5), to oppose the ejection of said hitching organ (11) under the impulse of the restoring spring (20).
  5. Locking fitting for a sliding leaf according to claim 4, characterised in that said tongues (24) are tapered at their end (25) so as to permit their withdrawal and their insertion under stress between said parallel walls (4, 5), during the mounting of the hitching organ (11) in the housing (3).
  6. Locking fitting for a sliding leaf according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the hitching organ (11) includes at the level of its rear face (21), oriented toward the center of the housing (3), a recess for receiving the end of the restoring spring (20).
  7. Locking fitting for a sliding leaf according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the retaining means (17) of the hitching organ (11) are obtained through the method for manufacturing the latter by molding.
