Description

  • La présente invention est relative à une griffe de manutention du genre de celles fixées à l'extrémité du bras d'une pelle ou analogue.
  • Un tel outil est destiné à saisir des objets, tels que des troncs d'arbre reposant sur le sol par exemple, pour les déplacer et il est constitué, dans sa forme la plus simple, au moyen de deux paires de mors articulés.
  • Contrairement à d'autres outils, tels que les godets excavateurs, qui comportent un seul organe mobile pouvant pivoter autour d'un axe horizontal situé à l'extrémité du bras de l'engin, une griffe comporte deux organes devant coopérer entre eux pour serrer l'objet à déplacer.
  • L'expérience a montré que les griffes existantes étaient techniquement compliquées, difficiles à fixer à l'extrémité de l'engin et parfaitement inadaptées à l'utilisation d'une attache rapide.
  • L'invention, qui remédie à ces inconvénients, a pour but une griffe qui peut être fixée à l'extrémité du bras d'une pelle soit directement soit par l'entremise d'une attache rapide et, ce, sans qu'il soit nécessaire de modifier les équipements usuels de l'engin.
  • La griffe de manutention de l'invention, qui est destinée à être fixée à l'extrémité du bras d'une pelle ou analogue comportant deux paires de mors articulées entre elles, se caractérise en ce que l'une des paires de mors est fixée directement sur le support pivotant du bras de l'engin, ou par l'entremise d'une attache rapide, tandis que la seconde paire de mors, ou mors inférieurs, est articulée librement sur la première paire selon un axe qui est sensiblement confondu avec celui d'articulation dudit support sur ledit bras, de façon à ce que le pivotement de la première paire de mors soit sans influence sur la position de la seconde paire de mors.
  • Une griffe de manutention à mâchoires multiples destinée à être montée sur une pelle fouilleuse, la mâchoire inférieure étant fixée sur le bras de godet et la mâchoire supérieure pivotant sur ce bras au moyen d'un dispositif, est divulguée dans le document FR-A-2- 266 770 .
  • La griffe de manutention divulguée dans le document US-A-5 553 408 comporte une mâchoire inférieure fixée sur le bras de godet et un godet pivotant sur ce bras. La mâchoire inférieure de la griffe de manutention selon US - A 4 519 739 est quant à elle mobile en rotation mais son mouvement dépend de celui du godet.
  • La présente invention sera mieux comprise par la description qui va suivre faire en se référant aux dessins annexés à titre d'exemple indicatif, seulement, sur lesquels :
    • la figure 1 est une vue, en coupe verticale, d'une griffe conforme à l'invention;
    • la figure 2 est la vue de dessus de la figure 1 ;
    • la figure 3 montre l'extrémité du bras d'un engin usuel;
    • la figure 4 montre, en coupe verticale, la griffe de l'invention montée sur le bras de l'engin;
    • les figures 5 et 6 sont des vues simplifiées et à plus petite échelle, montrant la saisie d'un objet.
  • En se reportant aux dessins et selon un mode de réalisation, on voit que la griffe est constituée par deux paires de mors 1 et 2, les mors 1 étant reliés par une poutre 3 et ceux 2 par une poutre 4.
  • Les poutres 3 et 4, outre la fonction de réunir les mors correspondants, ont des fonctions spécifiques qui apparaîtront ci-après.
  • La poutre 3 porte deux pattes 5, formant, chacune, avec le mors 1 correspondant une chape entre les ailes de laquelle est articulé le mors 2 correspondant par l'entremise d'un arbre 6. Les deux arbres 6 sont coaxiaux et indépendants.
  • La griffe qui vient d'être décrite ci-dessus doit être fixée à l'extrémité du bras 7, d'un engin, ledit bras comportant un support 8 articulé sur un arbre 9, le pivotement dudit support étant obtenu par des biellettes 10 et 11 actionnées par le vérin 12 usuel du bras.
  • La poutre 3 comporte une platine 13 permettant de fixer la griffe sous le support 8.
  • Les mors 2 pivotent librement et n'ont aucun lien mécanique avec le bras ou avec des organes portés par ce dernier.
  • Les mors 1 sont dimensionnés de façon à ce que les axes des arbres 6 coïncident, sensiblement, avec l'axe de l'arbre 9 lorsque la griffe est fixée au bras. De cette façon, le pivotement des mors 1 est sans influence sur la position des mors 2.
  • Comme montré sur la figure 5, pour saisir un objet B, posé au sol par exemple, on soulève les mors 1, ou mors supérieurs, et l'on déplace l'ensemble selon la flèche F. Lorsque la pointe des mors 2, ou mors inférieurs, rencontre l'objet, ces derniers pivotent jusqu'à ce que la poutre 4 vienne prendre appui sous le bras 7. A ce moment, on commande la rotation des mors 1 en actionnant le vérin usuel 12 (fig.3) pour serrer l'objet.
  • Il ressort des explications ci-dessus que la griffe de l'invention est particulièrement adaptée à sa fixation par l'entremise d'une attache rapide.

Claims (2)

  1. Griffe de manutention destinée à être fixée à l'extrémité du bras (7) d'une pelle ou analogue ledit bras comportant un support pivotant (8), ladite griffe de manutention comportant deux paires de mors (1 et 2) articulées entre elles, telle que la première (1) des paires de mors est fixée directement sur le support pivotant (8) du bras (7) de l'engin, ou par l'entremise d'une attache rapide, tandis que la seconde paire de mors (2), ou mors inférieurs, est articule librement sur la première paire selon un axe qui est sensiblement confondu avec celui d'articulation dudit support sur ledit bras, de façon à ce que le pivotement de la première paire (1) de mors soit sans influence sur la position de la seconde paire de mors (2)
  2. Griffe selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte une poutre (4) réunissant les deux mors inférieurs de telle sorte que lorsque les mors inférieurs, poussés par le bras, rencontrent un objet (B) à saisir, ils pivotent en sens inverse du déplacement et prennent appui sous le bras par l'entremise de ladite poutre (4).
