Definitions

  • the invention relates to a spring base for mattresses or the like according to the preamble of claim 1, see. EP-A1-1 086 637 , Furthermore, the invention relates to preferred uses of such a suspension.
  • the present invention seeks to provide under-springing for particular mattresses that allow individual stimulation of lying on the mattress person, in particular for decubitus prophylaxis and therapy, to support the pain therapy and / or to prevent an irritant poverty.
  • a suspension to solve this problem has the features of claim 1. Due to the fact that at least some strips can be moved up and down in a controlled manner by means of the arranged lifting elements the underspring invention movements on the underside of the mattress or the like, which are transmitted to the person lying on the mattress. By selectively moving up and down at least some strips, these can be individually raised, lowered and / or tilted. As a result, the respective person, in particular the patient, is moved individually, in accordance with the needs or requirements. The movements can be precisely dosed, and kept within limits when needed, which is important to support in the treatment of pain.
  • the strips can be moved up and down at their opposite ends. This can be controlled so that the respective bar at the ends equally (synchronously) is moved up and down so that it does not change their inclination. If necessary, at least some strips at their ends but also be raised to different degrees or at one end lifting and lowering at the other end, so that the inclination of the bar in question changes.
  • any movements can be brought about, namely wave movements, movements on an inclined plane or even a rotation.
  • at least some strips are movable up and down by their opposite ends associated lifting members, which are preferably designed in the manner of air springs.
  • the lifting members are arranged in the areas of the bearing means of the strips, or assigned to the storage means.
  • the lifting elements can be accommodated to save space at the ends of the strips and, if necessary, integrate into the bearing means.
  • the lifting elements in the areas of the bearing means or even in the bearing means can serve to support or superimpose the spring properties of the bearing means.
  • the lifting members are designed as bellows-like hollow body. These can be with any fluid, which may be a liquid or a gas, as desired, in particular selectively metered, move up and down.
  • the hollow body with a gas in the simplest case air, moved up and down, the compressibility of the gas leads to soft, jerk-free movements of persons.
  • a further embodiment of the invention has the features of claim 2.
  • each hollow body can be selectively supplied with a fluid and thus pressurized and also the pressure in the respective hollow body can be reduced individually. This allows any movement of the bars.
  • the strips or the ends of the strips can receive sensitive strokes, whereby the person lying on the respective mattress is specifically stimulated. The movements can be controlled in a manner adapted to the clinical picture of the respective person.
  • the spring support according to the invention is designed so that the bearing means spring means for resilient storage of the ends of the strips, preferably all strips, and in addition the hollow body, which are associated with at least some strips, change the elasticity of the storage of these strips.
  • the spring properties of the respective bearing means can be controlled controlled change.
  • the hollow bodies are formed or assigned to the ends of the strips such that the lifting movement is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the strips and thus perpendicular to the plane of the mattress or the like. However, it can also change the inclination of the mattress, in which the lifting elements at opposite ends min.
  • changes in the surface of the mattress are possible by specifically controlled lifting movements of the individual hollow body, including dynamic changes in the surface, for example, by a continuous wave and / or rotational movement follows.
  • individual hollow body in particular groups of hollow bodies, which are associated with one or more strips, acted upon with different pressures.
  • each hollow body can be fed with a fluid through its own fluid line.
  • the respective Fluid line is individually supplied via a corresponding fluid supply device and / or a valve unit with the desired pressure and also vented.
  • a control device By a control device, the pressure in any hollow body is controlled as needed.
  • the control device can be controlled both manually and according to predetermined programs.
  • the programs of the control device can be selected to the particular type of stimulation depending on the needs of each person resting on the mattress or the like.
  • the control device also allows certain stimulation patterns in which the top of the mattress is placed in a wave motion, rotational movement, a tilted position or oscillating movements.
  • the lower suspensions described above are particularly suitable for decubitus therapy or decubitus prophylaxis, to promote perceptions, to prevent irritant depletion and / or to support the pain therapy.
  • the lower suspensions according to the invention cause a stimulation of a person lying on a mattress, in particular a bed.
  • Various basic stimulation come into consideration, namely z. Somatic, vestibular, vibratory, oral, auditory, tactile-tactile and / or visual stimulations.
  • the base suspension shown here serves as a support for at least one mattress or other padding of a bed, a reclining furniture or a chair.
  • the spring base has a plurality of elongated strips 10.
  • the preferably identically formed, in particular equally long strips 10 extend at a parallel distance from each other transversely directed to the longitudinal direction 11 of the spring base.
  • the strips 10 are preferably at an equal distance from one another, but may also vary in regions at a distance from each other.
  • the base suspension shown here has two in the present case, the same design bar elements 12 which extend in the longitudinal direction 11 of the spring base, parallel to each other.
  • Such elastic beam elements 12 are for example from the DE 199 45 724 A1 known.
  • the same trained Balkenelemte 12 are associated with opposite longitudinal edges of the spring base and limit this.
  • the beam elements 12 are supported on non-illustrated longitudinal beams of a bed or a frame.
  • the strips 10 are connected in opposite end regions with the beam elements 12.
  • the beam members 12 serve to hold the ledges 10 at their opposite ends, so that the ledges 10 substantially maintain their relative disposition relative to one another.
  • the invention is not limited to the storage of the strips 10 shown here on elastic beam elements 12. Rather, it is also conceivable to assign the ends of the strips 10 any other storage means and thereby the strips 10 elastically movable to longitudinal beams of a frame, a bed o. The like. To store.
  • At least some strips 10 are assigned a plurality of support plates 13.
  • a strip 10 may have a plurality of support plates 13, which preferably have uniform distances from each other.
  • the support plate 13 of adjacent strips 10 are offset from one another in such a way that the support plates 13 of adjacent strips 10 are at a gap to each other ( Fig. 1 ).
  • the lower suspension according to the invention has lifting elements 14, which are designed or work in the manner of air springs.
  • each end of each bar 10 a lifting member 14 is associated.
  • Each bar 10 thereby has two lifting members 14.
  • the lifting members 14 are all substantially the same. It is conceivable, only certain strips 10 lifting members 14 at opposite ends assigned. The remaining strips 10 are then on the beam elements 12 in one of the DE 199 45 724 A1 stored known manner.
  • the lifting members 14 are arranged in areas of the beam elements 12 in the embodiment of the invention shown here.
  • the lifting members 14 are located between adjacent support legs 15, 16 of the beam elements 12, namely in longitudinal grooves 17 between the two spaced apart parallel support legs 15 and 16 of the respective beam element 12.
  • Fig. 1 For reasons of simplicity, only two lifting members 14 are shown, which are assigned to the opposite ends of a strip 10. Same lifting members 14 but are also assigned to the other strips 10.
  • This lifting member 14 has at the top a clip head 18 which has a rigid, flat top plate 19 at the bottom.
  • the bellows 20 forms in the interior a cavity 21, which is acted upon by a fluid, in the illustrated embodiment, air.
  • a fluid in the illustrated embodiment, air.
  • the bottom plate 22 has a in the Fig.
  • valve unit 25 has a valve, not shown, which is electrically controllable.
  • the in the Fig. 3 not shown electrical control lines are connected via a connector 26 releasably connected to the valve of the valve unit 25.
  • the valve unit 25 is connected to an air line, also not shown. It is conceivable to associate two air lines of the valve unit 25, namely a compressed air line and an exhaust air line.
  • the electrical control lines of the valve units 25 of all lifting elements 14 are connected to a common, central control which is not shown in the figures. Furthermore, at least the compressed air lines of the valve units 25 of all lifting elements 14 with a common air supply device, preferably one Pump, connected. In the simplest case, the pump maintains a certain predetermined air pressure in each compressed air supply line. However, it is also conceivable to control the pump from the central control device and thereby specify in particular the pressure of the pump according to the requirements or even to change.
  • each valve unit 25 can be individually controlled.
  • each individual lifting member 14 can be individually supplied with compressed air, as a result of which the respective bellows 20 expands upward, thus lifting the stapling head 18 of the lifting member 14.
  • the lifting movement of the bellows 20 is transmitted to the relevant end of a bar 10, which is thus raised at the end perpendicular to its longitudinal direction.
  • the cavity 21 in the bellows 20 through the valve unit 25 completely or at least partially vented, whereby the bellows coincides to the desired extent and thereby the clip head 18 with the attached end of the bar 10 is lowered.
  • all lifting elements 14 are raised or lowered simultaneously (synchronously), whereby the whole mattress moves vertically up and down and the shape of the mattress does not change significantly on the surface. It is also conceivable to raise or lower at the same time by means of a corresponding control only all lifting elements 14 on one side of the mattress, ie all lifting elements 14 assigned to a lateral bar element 12, while the lifting elements 14 located on the other side remain unactuated. This leads to an inclination of the mattress or a tilting of the mattress about the longitudinal direction 11. It is also conceivable to lift all the lifting members 14 on one side and simultaneously lower all the lifting members 14 on the other side. As a result, the mattress can be tilted by a maximum angle.
  • Another movement program proposes to raise and lower the strips 10 in the longitudinal direction 11 gradually on both sides at the same time. These are the both opposing sides of a bar 10 associated lifting members 14 each operated simultaneously. By successively raising and / or lowering the strips 10 in the longitudinal direction 11 of the spring base, a continuous wave motion is generated on the mattress surface.
  • Another possibility of movement of the mattress is that the lift members are first lifted one after the other in the longitudinal direction 11 on one side, ie along a beam element 12, and then lowered again. After the lifting movement has taken place along a beam element 12 on one side, it is continued by the opposite beam element, against the longitudinal direction 11. In this way, the person lying on the mattress experiences a kind of rotational movement.
  • the above-described types of movement of the mattress and the person lying on it are arbitrarily expandable, so that the invention is not limited to the above-described possibilities of movement. In particular, any superpositions of the movements of individual lifting elements 14 are conceivable.
  • the lifting members 14 it is also possible to turn off the automatic control at least momentarily and to control the lifting members 14 manually. This is preferably done by a lying on the mattress person who can thus control the movements and influence how they are most comfortable. This applies in particular to the case in which the lower spring suspension according to the invention is used for pain therapy. From the control and the stroke and / or the lifting or lowering speed of the lifting members 14 can be controlled individually. It is also conceivable to arrange the lifting elements 14 or similarly acting air springs as support or stimulation elements on the bed surface or even to assign them to the cover. It is further possible to design the freely programmable control of the lifting members 14 so that they allow feedback.
  • physiological data of the person lying on the mattress are measured and the measured values are used by the control in order to control the movements of the lifting organs 14 in a targeted manner.
  • the measurement of, for example, the movement of a person lying on the mattress can be done by determining the internal pressure in the bellows 20 or the air supply to the bellows 20.
  • the control makes it possible to move the mattress by the lifting members 14 both periodically and irregularly, in particular quasi-periodically, by a corresponding program selection.
  • other signals may be included in the controller in addition to the above-mentioned feedback values incorporated, for example, acoustic signals, in particular music signals.
  • Visual signals for example color signals, can also be processed by the controller if required.
  • the spring support according to the invention serve for stimulation, in particular basal stimulating care of unconscious, ventilated, disoriented, somnolent, cranial, brain traumatized, patients with hypoxic brain damage, Alzheimer's, in mobility restricted patients, disabled and / or premature babies.
  • the stimulation may be somatic stimulation, visibular stimulation, vibratory stimulation, oral stimulation, auditory stimulation, tactile-haptic stimulation, visual stimulation, and combinations of the aforementioned types of stimulation.
  • the consequence of the stimulation is above all the elimination of an irritant poverty.
  • the stimulation by targeted movement, in particular the mattress is used in particular for decubitus prophylaxis and / or decubitus therapy.
  • the stimulation also serves to assist in pain therapy and / or to promote perceptions.
