Die Teilfüllung der Sturzelemente mit einer Wärmedämmeinlage bringt zwar einen verbesserten Kälteschutz der Wand im Sturzbereich mit sich, doch bleibt die verstärkte Wärmedämmung insbesondere im Bereich eines in die Maueröffnung eingesetzten Stockrahmens eines Fensters oder einer Tür unzureichend.
