Vorrichtung zum Stranggießen von Metallen, insbesondere von Stahl, mit einem die Stranggießkokille tragenden Grundrahmen und einer an dem Grund-rahmen angeordneten Oszillationseinrichtung und einem am Fußende der Stranggießkokille angeordneten Fußrollengerüst, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stranggießkokille (1 ) zusammen mit einem Schwingrahmen (3b) und einem am Schwingrahmen (3b) angreifenden Oszillationsantrieb (3a) in einem oben und seitlich abschließenden Gehäuse (5) angeordnet sind und dass das an der Stranggießkokille (1) befestigte Fußrollengerüst (4) ein seitlich abschirmendes Untergehäuse (6) durchdringt.1 .
