Description
The invention relates to an electrical collector intended in particular to be mounted in a cabinet or an electrical box and comprising a conductive bar comprising a flattened portion, at least one electrical connection member mounted on said bar and comprising at least one connection means, each these means being intended to allow the electrical connection of a cable or the like to said bar, the aforementioned connection operation being performed by means of a suitable tool, and a connection block adapted to such a collector.
There is known a ground collector constituted by a brass bar having a monobloc connection block with said bar, said block comprising a number of screw type connection means. However, in this type of collector, the orientation of the connection points is fixed in a single direction perpendicular to the plane of attachment of the bar, where it may result in some inconvenience during the connection operation. connection points and the section of the cables to be connected are fixed, and the screw connection mode generates a relatively long connection time. Another type of earth collector consists of a copper bar on which are fixed a multitude of small copper jumpers constituting screw terminals for connecting the cables. The disadvantages of this type of system are mainly because the assembly does not have sufficient mechanical strength to withstand the forces required for the connection of the cables, resulting in bending deformation of the bar. On the other hand, as in the system described above, the orientation of the connection points is fixed in a single direction perpendicular to the fixing plane of the bar; this system does not allow the connection of cables of different sections; the number of connection points is fixed; and the connection time of the cables is particularly long.

For this purpose, the subject of the present invention is a collector of the kind previously mentioned, this collector being characterized in that the at least one or each connecting member is oriented relative to the plane of said bar so that the direction of the resultant forces exerted on the manifold by the aforementioned tool during the connection operation is substantially parallel to the plane of said bar. This bar comprises a first part intended to receive the aforementioned connecting members and a second part comprising at least one fixing part of the bar in the aforementioned cabinet or cabinet, and the part (s) of attachment is ( are) located in a plane said plane of attachment, which plane is angularly offset from the plane containing the first part of the bar, said plane of the bar.
According to another characteristic, the block further comprises means for extracting the block from the bar, these means being arranged in such a way that the direction of the resultant of the forces exerted on the collector during the extraction operation is substantially parallel. to the plane of the bar.
