Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Abgaswärmetauscher für Kraftfahrzeuge, der aus einem Stapel von Wärmetauscherplatten (1) besteht, der von einem Gehäuse (2) umgeben ist; der Stapel (3) von Wärmetauscherplatten (1) umfaßt Abgaswege (4), die Inneneinsätze (33) besitzen und Kühlwasserwege (5); die Abgaswege (4) und die Kühlwasserwege (5) wechseln sich in Stapelrichtung ab, wobei die einen Wege jeweils innerhalb eines Paares von Wärmetauscherplatten (1) eingeschlossen sind und die anderen Wege jeweils zwischen den Paaren angeordnet und zur Wand (10) des Gehäuses (2) offen sind; an gegenüber liegenden Stirnseiten (11) des Gehäuses (2) sind Abgasanschlußflansche (12) angeordnet, so dass das Abgas auf geradem Weg durch den Abgaswärmetauscher strömen kann, und an der Wand (10) des Gehäuses (2) sind Anschlüsse (13) für das Kühlwasser angeordnet. Ein solcher Abgaswärmetauscher kann kostengünstig als ein - oder als mehrflutiger Abgaswärmetauscher hergestellt werden,
wenn erfindungsgemäß
die Wärmetauscherplatten als identische Flachrohrhälften (1) mit abgekanteten Längsrändern (14) ausgebildet sind,
wenn jeweils zwei solche Flachrohrhälften (1) spiegelbildlich an ihren Längsrändern (14) zusammengefügt sind und in sich einen Abgasweg (4) ein - schließen,
wenn die Enden der Flachrohrhälften (1) in Öffnungen (18) von Rohrböden (19) münden,
wenn jeder Abgasweg (4) durch ein oder mehrere Trennelemente (15), die im Abgasweg (4) vorsehbar sind, in zwei oder mehrere voneinander getrennte Abgaswege (4.1, 4.2) aufteilbar ist,
und wenn die Kühlwasserwege (5) zum Gehäuse (2) hin offen und mit in den Flachrohrhälften (1) eingeprägten Querrippen (31) oder dgl. versehen sind, die das Kühlwasser zur schlangenartigen Durchströmung der Kühlwasserwege (5) zwingen.

when the ends of the flat tube halves (1) open into openings (18) of tubesheets (19),
if each exhaust gas path (4) can be divided into two or more separate exhaust gas paths (4.1, 4.2) by one or more separating elements (15) which can be provided in the exhaust gas path (4),
and when the cooling water paths (5) are open towards the housing (2) and provided with transverse ribs (31) or the like impressed in the flat tube halves (1), which force the cooling water to serpentine flow through the cooling water passages (5).
