Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein beheizbares Flächenelement mit einem plattenförmigen schamottehaltigen Wärmeträger und einem darin eingebetteten Heizleiter, wobei zur Vergrößerung der Oberfläche mindestens eine Seite des Wärmeträgers eine waffelartig ausgebildete dreidimensionale Oberflächenstruktur aufweist. Diese kann aus pyramidenförmigen, pyramidenstumpfförmigen oder quaderförmigen Elementen mit jeweils prismatischer, vorzugsweise quadratischer Grundfläche, oder annähernd halbkugelförmigen Elementen bestehen. Sie bewirkt eine wesentlich verbesserte Wärmeabgabe bei gleichzeitig guter Wärmeaufnahme und -speicherung.
Der Wärmeträger besteht aus einem gebrannten Gemisch aus Rohton, schamottiertem Rohton, Edelglas-/Porzellanmehl (Natriumsilikat) und Talkummehl (Magnesiumsilikat). Er weist eine hohe Dichte und Härte bei sehr geringer Porosität auf mit den Vorzügen einer hohen Transportsicherheit, festsitzenden Anschlüssen für die Elektroenergieversorgung und einer Fertigungsmaßgenauigkeit von ± 1 mm. Eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform sieht vor, die Oberfläche mit einer keramischen Glasurschicht zu versehen. Der Wärmeträger nimmt dadurch nur geringfügig, bis maximal 2 %, Feuchtigkeit auf. Entsprechende bestückte Heizgeräte sind daher für den Feuchtraumeinsatz besonders geeignet.

The invention relates to a heatable surface element having a plate-shaped chamotte-containing heat transfer medium and a heating conductor embedded therein, at least one side of the heat transfer medium having a waffle-like three-dimensional surface structure for enlarging the surface. This may consist of pyramidal, truncated pyramidal or cuboidal elements each having a prismatic, preferably square base, or approximately hemispherical elements. It causes a significantly improved heat dissipation with good heat absorption and storage.
The heat transfer medium consists of a fired mixture of raw clay, chamotteed raw clay, fine glass / porcelain flour (sodium silicate) and talcum powder (magnesium silicate). It has a high density and hardness with very low porosity with the advantages of a high transport safety, fixed terminals for the electric power supply and a manufacturing accuracy of ± 1 mm. A preferred embodiment provides to provide the surface with a ceramic glaze layer. The heat transfer medium absorbs only slightly, up to a maximum of 2%, moisture. Corresponding populated heaters are therefore particularly suitable for wet room use.
