Description

The invention relates to a telescopic vacuum cleaner suction tube according to the preamble of claim 1. Such a telescopic Vacuum cleaner suction pipe is described in DE 199 24 451 C1 or in WO 99 35409.

The known from DE 199 24 451 C1 telescopic Vacuum cleaner suction tube points to guide the telescopic inner tube one over almost its entire axial length end in the Outer tube insertion guide insert on which component a telescopic adjustment is. From the outer surface of the Guide insert protrudes through a recess in the outer tube a shaft-like holding extension approximately radially outward, which an escape space for a means of a tongue on the guide insert hinged locking body forms. The lock body alternately engages the recesses of the locking bar of the inner tube.

Following in the radial direction outside to the escape space, The holding extension also takes a bending element with locking feet on, which prevent in the unloaded state of the bending element, that the locking body from its locking position in the Can escape space. Outside works when applying an actuation pressure a push button with an actuating pin on the bending element on. As a result, an elastic bending deformation of the bending element and causing the locking feet to spread apart, whereby the escape space for the lock body released, the locking body is unlocked so.

The approximately shaft-shaped retaining extension according to the DE 199 24 451 C1 has in two opposite wall parts each two vertically extending guide slots. The opposing longitudinal reveal surfaces of each guide slot form guide surfaces, while each radially outward and arranged between the guide surfaces transverse short reveal surface of each guide slot one Represents locking surface.

The trained as a push button actuating handle instructs an actuator plate four guide legs, each with a guide foot on whose side surfaces form counter-guide surfaces, the with the guide surfaces of the guide slots of the holding extension interact. The transverse to the mating surfaces, form radially outwardly facing surfaces of the guide feet Counter locking surfaces, with the aforementioned transverse short Latch surfaces (latching surfaces) of the guide slots snap latching cooperate.

The advantage of the telescoping known from DE 199 24 451 C1 Vacuum cleaner suction tube is u.a. in that the am Guide insert attached, i. cohesively connected, holding extension in conjunction with the pushbutton a telescope arrangement on the entire circumferential length encompassing actuating sleeve dispensable power. On the other hand, the known arrangement because of the relative large number of their components and because of the associated larger manufacturing and assembly costs than in need of improvement felt.

According to DE 199 24 451 C1, the invention has the object underlying, to further develop the known arrangement so that this in relation to the known a smaller manufacturing and Assembly costs, combined with a simple operation allowed. In conjunction with the features of the preamble of the claim 1 this object is achieved according to the invention the characteristics of the character Part of claim 1.

According to the invention, the latch forms a sliding latch, its actuating handle with its mating surfaces parallel to the outer circumferential surface of the outer tube along the guide surfaces of the retaining insert attached to the guide insert movable is.

This means that the actuating handle according to the invention basically in any direction, but parallel to the outer surface of the outer tube, can be guided, being - among others possible embodiments - a particularly advantageous invention Embodiment characterized in that the guide surfaces and the mating surfaces in the direction of Generatrices of the outer tube, ie axially with respect to the outer tube, extend.

A considerable structural simplification comes according to the invention by the fact that on the one hand the guide surfaces of Retention set identical to the locking surfaces of the holding extension and on the other hand, the counter guide surfaces of the actuating handle are identical to the counter-locking surfaces of the actuating handle.

An additional simplification, in particular by another Summary of functional elements, comes about, that - in contrast to the subject of DE 199 24 451 C1 - The latch is attached to the actuating handle. A preferred inventive embodiment is that bars and Actuating handle a one-piece, in particular a material uniform and form a cohesively coherent component.

Another simplification is according to the invention in Difference to the subject of DE 199 24 451 C1 achieved by that the bar is not about indirectly but rather directly with the locking body cooperates.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the guide surfaces and the mating surfaces of latched together, im Cross section formed about hook-shaped rib projections. in this connection are the rib projections of each of the holding extension and the actuating handle at opposite free ends of formed strip-like wall parts whose major surfaces about radially to Outer tube are arranged.

A very good guide, combined with a practically unsolvable Snap fastening between holding extension and actuating handle, is according to another embodiment of the invention achieved in that the holding extension two in the parallel distance comprising mutually arranged strip-like wall parts, which with in Parallel spaced apart strip-like wall parts of Actuate handle cooperate.

Here, either the strip-like wall parts of the overlap Actuation handle the strip-like wall parts of the holding extension or the strip-like wall parts of the holding extension overlap the strip-like wall parts of the actuating handle each outside.

In an additional embodiment of the invention, the actuating handle forms one with its hollow side facing the outer tube, about hood-like slide button.

This hood-like push button in turn holds several functional elements the adjusting device together. This is how he forms, for example the two strip-like wall parts of the actuating handle, which of the inner surface of the hood-like slide button protrude. In addition, the bolt with the actuating handle is cohesive connected, in particular by the bolt one of the inner surface the hood-like slide button protruding latch projection is, the outer tube facing the end face with the Counter-locking surface of the locking body cooperating locking surface forms.

In addition, the actuating handle forms with respect to the outer tube axially before and / or behind the locking projection ever an alternative space for the disengaged with the recesses Blocking body.

Finally, the inventive combination of Holding extension, guide insert and actuating handle both a Operation of the actuating handle in one direction and in two opposite directions. The invention provides for this Before that, both the retaining extension or the guiding insert as well the actuating handle at least one abutment for at least form a spring component, which at neutral spring position, the locking surface of the bolt with the counter-locking surface of the locking body in engagement holds, and which at a displacement of the bolt by operation the actuating handle provides a restoring force.

Incidentally, each abutment is the actuating handle each one of the inner surface of the hood-like slide button formed a prominent lead.

The hood-like sliding knob according to the invention, with which several functional elements to a uniform one-piece component can be summarized, is also in a special way suitable as a decorative component, while in the adjustment according to DE 199 24 451 C1 a separate decorative or trim part is present, which with an additional mounting operation the retaining extension must be snapped.

Weitere Erfindungsmerkmale sind zusätzlichen Unteransprüchen zu entnehmen.Further inventive features are additional subclaims refer to.

In the drawings, an axial portion of a telescopic Vacuum cleaner suction tube 10 shown, whose longitudinal central axis with M is indicated. The telescopic vacuum cleaner suction tube 10 has an outer tube 11 and an axially partially from the outer tube 11 recorded, provided with locking recesses 13 inner tube 12th on. A guide insert 14 made of plastic is the end in the outer tube Inserted 11 and relies on a flange 15 at the adjacent end face 16 of the outer tube 11 from.

The axially along the inner tube 12 arranged locking recesses 13 form a locking bar R.

The outer tube 11 has an axially extending end side Durchgriffsaussparung 17 through which a holding extension 18 extends radially outward, which the guide insert 14 is formed.

The holding extension 18 provides a radially outwardly open approximately bay-like structure, the viewer facing the left Corner portion of FIG. 1 cut out for clarity of illustration is. The holding extension 18 has two at a parallel distance from each other arranged strip-like wall parts 19, which with substantially rectified, spaced parallel to each other strip-like wall parts 21 of an actuating handle 20 cooperate.

The approximately radially to the outer tube extending short end sides the two strip-like wall parts 19 of the holding extension 18th are each connected to each other by means of a transverse wall part 22, 23.

The two strip-like wall parts 19 of the holding extension 18th and the two strip-like wall parts 21 of the actuating handle 20 extend in the direction of generatrices of the outer tube 11, i.e. with respect to the outer tube 11 axially.

The actuating handle 20 forms one with its hollow side 24th the outer tube 11 facing, about hood-like slide button.

The two strip-like wall parts 21 of the actuating handle 20 protrude from the inner surface 25 before.

In addition, a latch formed as a latch projection 26 protrudes from the inner surface of the operating handle 25 before. The outer tube 11 facing end face of the locking projection 26 forms a a counter-locking surface 28 of a locking body 29 cooperating locking surface 27th

The locking projection 26 is between the two strip-like Wall parts 21 of the actuating handle 20 is arranged.

The actuating handle 20 forms with respect to the outer tube 11 axially before the locking projection 26 (see Fig. 1-5) an alternative space 30 and according to FIGS. 6-11 additionally axially behind the locking projection 26 another alternative space 31 each for the except Engaging with the locking recesses 13 located blocking body 29th

As the locking body in an adjusting movement in the Ausweichraum 30 is out of engagement with the recesses 13, can be seen from Fig. 5.

Both the strip-like wall parts 19 of the holding extension 18th as well as the strip-like wall parts 21 of the actuating handle 20th have approximately ratchet-shaped rib projections 32, 33. The snap-hook shaped Rib projections 32, 33 also have latching surfaces or as counter-locking surfaces serving guide surfaces 34 or Counter guide surfaces 35.

The guide surfaces 34 are thus components of the holding extension 18, while the counter-guide surfaces 35 to the two hook-shaped Rib projections 33 of the strip-like wall parts 21st the actuating handle 20 belong.

The approximately strip-track-like guide surfaces 34 and also approximately strip-like counter-guide surfaces 35 extend parallel to the outer circumferential surface A of the outer tube 11. In the case of illustrated embodiments, the guide surfaces extend 34 and the counter-guide surfaces 35 in the direction of generatrices of the outer tube 11, of which two generatrices 36, 37 in Figs. 1 and 2 are shown by way of example.

The main surfaces 38, 39 of the strip-like wall parts 19, 21st extend approximately radially to the outer tube 11th

The strip-like wall parts 19 of the holding extension 18 overlap the strip-like wall parts 21 of the actuating handle 20 outside.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-5 forms the Transverse wall portion 22 of the holding extension 18 at the same time an abutment and also a centering pin 40 for a helical compression spring 41, which provides a spring restoring force when the actuating handle 20 by a force exerted on the actuating surface 42 Actuating pressure P is moved in the direction x.

If, starting from the position of the locking projection 26 in 3, a movement of the actuating handle 20 takes place in the direction x, the actuating handle 20 moves with its locking projection 26 in the unlocked position shown in FIG. 4. Then can at Maintaining the operating pressure P and raumfest held Inner tube 12 a movement of the outer tube 11 in the direction x relative to the inner tube 12, wherein the locking body 29 from the previously assumed latching recess 13 slides beyond the outer circumferential surface B of the inner tube 12 slides away to finally in one of subsequent locking recesses 13 intervene. Subsequently occurs again in an analogous reverse manner, a lock according to FIG. 3, as soon as the actuating pressure P is omitted and the restoring force of the Helical compression spring 41, the actuating handle 20 in the direction y emotional.

It is also apparent from FIGS. 3-5 that the abutment for the helical compression spring 41 on the part of the actuating handle 20 from one of the inner surface 25 of the actuating handle 20 protruding Projection 43 is formed.

The embodiments according to FIGS. 6-11 differ from the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1-5, that the actuating handle 20 for unlocking the locking body 29 against a restoring force both in direction x and in Direction y can be moved.

Fig. 6-8). To such an unlocking of the actuating handle 20 in to accomplish both directions x and y, is from the outer tube 11, a projection 44 cut free and bent radially outward (see Fig. 6-8). In this way it is possible to use both a helical compression spring 45 and an antagonistic helical compression spring 46th provided.

The helical compression spring 45 is supported on one end Abutment 43 of the actuating handle 20 and the other to the From the outer tube 11 formed abutment 44.

The other helical compression spring 46 is supported at one end the abutment 44 formed by the outer tube 11 and the other end an abutment, which is formed by another projection 47 is that of the inner surface 25 of the actuating handle 20 radially protruding inwards.

The wall part 22 is missing in the embodiments of FIGS. 6-8, so that the axial movement of the projection 47 is not hindered.

If, starting from the locked state according to FIG. 6, in which both helical compression springs 45, 46 in a neutral Spring position are located, an unlocking in the direction x, so is the Compressive compression spring 45 compresses, so provides restoring forces Available, which, if necessary, according to a Relatiwerstellung between outer tube 11 and inner tube 12, the latch projection 26 in its locking position as shown in FIG. 6 return.

Conversely, when an actuating pressure P is the actuating handle 20 moves with its locking projection 26 in the direction y (FIG. 8), this happens against the restoring force of the helical compression spring 46, which upon elimination of the operating pressure P, the actuating handle 20 in turn offset in the locking position shown in FIG. 6.

In the embodiment of Figs. 9-11, the two are mutually oppositely acting helical compression springs 45, 46 by a bar spring 48 replaces which restoring forces in both directions x, y provides.

Hierbei übergreift die Mitnehmerklaue 50 den Biegebereich 49 der Stabfeder 48.The bending portion 49 of the bar spring 48 is one of the inner surface 25 of the actuating handle 20 projecting entrainment claw 50 motion coupled. In this case, the driving claw overlaps 50 the bending region 49 of the bar spring 48th

The bar spring 48 is of a coaxial with the guide insert 14, the latter partially encircling part-circular spring formed, whose two free spring ends 51, of which in Figs. 9-11 only one is shown, on the outer circumferential surface 52 of the guide insert 14 are defined in abutments 53. From the abutments 53 is also shown in Figs. 9-11 also only one in dashed lines.

In Fig. 9, the neutral spring position of the bar spring 48 is shown. No matter whether the actuating handle 20 in the direction x or in the direction y is moved, the bar spring 48 each brings a restoring force on, wherein both restoring forces are opposite to each other.

Fig. 4, 5, 7 und 10). The movement of the actuating handle 20 both in the direction x as well as in direction y is limited by stops. In the direction of x beats a stop 54 of the actuating handle 20 against the transverse wall part 23 of the holding extension 18 (see Fig. 4, 5, 7 and 10).

Fig. 8 und 11).When the movement of the actuating handle 20 in the direction y takes place, the hood edge 55 of the actuating handle 20 of outside against the wall part 23 of the holding extension 18 (see Fig. 8 and 11).

The locking body 29 is by means of a wall of the guide insert 14 cut retaining tab 56 on the guide insert 14 hinged pivotally.

The guide insert 14 and the actuating handle 20 form in each case a plastic injection molded part. To prevent rotation the telescopic assembly has the guide insert 14 is an approximately radial inwardly projecting axial guide rib 57, which in a axial guide groove 58 engages outside of the inner tube 12.

The guide insert 14 is in a manner not shown against Axial displacement secured to the outer tube 11. A rotation lock between the guide insert 14 and the outer tube 11 thereby comes state that between the passage recess 17 of the Outer tube 11 and the holding extension 18 is a positive connection.
