Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for loading a Cartridge in a chamber of a barrel of a self-loading handgun, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the cartridge is carried by a locking head at the front end of the gun's breech. On whose There may be a depression on the front, one recessed push floor forms.
- a locking head at the front end of the gun's breech.
- a closing spring pushes the lock with the locking head forward.
- the cartridge is moving then forward with the clasp, taking this is raised so that the rear end of the cartridge sleeve finally - if available - into the recess of the breech head. In the course of the further forward movement the cartridge is placed in the cartridge chamber of the Barrel inserted.
- the closure must be in relation to the cartridge and the Be centered. This centering is done by the Seat of the rear end of the cartridge case in the recessed Breech. Between the lock and one leading it Housings can therefore have generous tolerances, the proper functioning of the weapon itself allow heavy pollution. However, they have to Tolerances between the circumferences of the rear sleeve end and the bottom of the cartridge must be closely tolerated; the scope of The butt plate must be countersunk to prevent the cartridge from entering to lighten in the push floor.
- a firearm is described in US Pat. No. 3,641,692, where the barrel behind the cartridge chamber is an approach with a conical inlet opening, in the the breech is inserted when loading the weapon. Between the introduced closure and the approach generous tolerances. Centering the clasp with respect to the central axis of the barrel in a conventional way through the seat of the cartridge case at the front end of the clasp.
- US-A-5 499 569 corresponds to the preamble of the claim 1
- US-A-3 641 692 each use one immediately adjoining the cartridge chamber to the rear Inner cone with an outer cone on the front of the closure engages. In any case, it is Purpose of this cone to allow gas to escape from the barrel to prevent rear. A centering is in these documents neither sought nor revealed.
- the invention has set itself the goal of the conventional Device or the conventional method for loading the To further develop the cartridge with numerous advantages.
- Centering the closure becomes general aligning a central axis of the closure with the Central axis of the barrel (soul axis), especially on one Center axis understood from its cartridge chamber.
- the center axis of the closure cuts the Axis of the barrel, or is skewed or parallel to this. After aligning, the axes are roughly preferably exactly coaxial to each other.
- the narrower sense is in the following centering the closure Centering a central axis of the closure head of the closure understood, in particular a central axis of the Butt plate or - if available - the depression in the Breech head, which is used to hold the cartridge case serves.
- This centering takes place with the inventive centering element connected to the barrel, and not - or only partially - about the seat of the rear end of the sleeve in the depression in the breech head. Therefore preferably lie between the circumference of the cartridge case and the Buttocks have relatively large tolerances. When centering the cartridge is inserted into the chamber then the closure of this is not centered (or only partially centered). This will remove the cartridge from the Loading less stressed. This is particularly the case with Cartridges with sensitive bullets are an advantage.
- This centering also makes the closure larger Accuracy aligned with the run's soul axis. This will ensure the same after each store Boundary conditions taken care of the shot release. thats why the invention is particularly advantageous with sniper rifles used.
- the closure or the closure head is by the Centering element during a forward movement of the Centered closure. Under “move forward” is thereby moving the closure in the direction of Cartridge understood. It is advantageous when centering of the breech the cartridge already in relation to the Run centered. Alternatively, the cartridge can be removed from the breech be centered, preferably immediately or just before she gets into the chamber. Favorably located the cartridge is already centering the breech in the chamber.
- the centering element is connected directly to the barrel.
- the connection between Barrel and centering element advantageously not detachable.
- By the integral formation of the centering element becomes one even greater accuracy when centering the closure achieved in terms of the run. Because it will an addition of component tolerances avoided. Thereby a further improved accuracy is achieved.
- alternative can also the centering element and the barrel, and / or the centering element and the cartridge chamber integral be trained. The accuracy of the centering is then increased even further.
- the centering element can be closed by a locking head center the closure.
- a locking head center the closure.
- the closure head serves the closure head at the front end of the closure to take the cartridge case with you. Does that happen Center the breech over the breech head this is centered relatively precisely, and thus also in it recessed push floor. This makes them particularly consistent Boundary conditions reached when firing the shot, and increases the accuracy of the shot. In addition, the functional reliability the locking system improved.
- the centering element is located close to the cartridge chamber, and the breech is centered close to the cartridge chamber.
- the cartridge is preferably firstly closed by the breech, e.g. immediately before or shortly after their entry into the cartridge chamber by engaging the breech roughly pre-centered in the cartridge case. The fine centering the cartridge is then made in a conventional manner when touching the outer and inner walls of the cartridge chamber.
- the closure is inclined to the longitudinal direction centered on the weapon lying surface of the centering element.
- the surface is preferably in the direction of the barrel or the cartridge chamber is inclined. Bumps a leading edge the lock when moving forward in the longitudinal direction the weapon on this surface, the breech then also shifted in the transverse direction. Thereby can the central axis of the closure on the soul axis of the barrel.
- a similar one Effect through an oblique to the longitudinal direction of the weapon lying surface of the closure can be achieved in Towards the barrel.
- the locking can be centered by the oblique Surface of the centering element, and by another sloping surface of another centering element respectively.
- the two surfaces advantageously lie opposite one another across from.
- the further centering element is preferred directly connected to the barrel, and integrally formed.
- the inclined surface is particularly advantageous and a second sloping surface through which the Closure is centered on the same integral centering element intended. This prevents Add tolerances between different components. Consequently will further increase accuracy in centering of the closure reached.
- the centering element has a continuous cavity on. Centering the closure then becomes advantageous achieved in that a cone-shaped Inner surface of a first portion of the cavity of tapered towards the front. Alternatively, you can an outer surface of the closure like a cone from behind taper towards the front.
- the cavity has recesses, the inner surfaces taper conically from the back to the front.
- the closure points to the recesses in the cavity complementary approaches, besides centering the Closure at the same time a twisting of the closure prevented.
- the stretches extend Outer surface (s) of the closure, especially the outer surfaces of the approaches, advantageously in the horizontal direction.
- An embodiment is preferred in which there are also outer surfaces of between two recesses in the cavity formed guide rails conical from behind taper towards the front.
- the centering element preferably has one hollow cylindrical section. It is advantageous the inside diameter of the hollow cylindrical portion approximately equal to an outer diameter of the closure, especially the breech head. This creates a seal of the cartridge chamber reached to the outside. Consequently the weapon case becomes soiled when it is outgassed decreased during the shot.
- the closure between at least two guide elements in front of the chamber in a centered position becomes.
- the closure can have grooves whose inner surfaces taper conically from the back to the front. External surfaces then preferably also taper formed between two grooves of the closure Rails cone-like from the back to at the front.
- the inner surfaces of the complementary recesses of the cavity preferably extend to conventional way in a horizontal direction. Likewise are then the outer surfaces of between two recesses formed guide rails in parallel.
- the centering element is preferably part of a locking piece, and particularly preferably integrally with it educated.
- the locking piece is used after Insert the cartridge into the cartridge chamber the breech to lock with the barrel. Since the locking piece on Barrel is attached, can with integral execution of Centering element and locking piece on a separate Attachment of the centering element to the barrel is dispensed with.
- FIG. 1 shows a barrel 1 made of steel or titanium a self-loading handgun. Integral with the Run 1 is on the rear (in the drawing: right) End section of a cartridge chamber 2 for receiving a cartridge 3 (belt cartridge) with a cartridge case 4.
- the inside diameter of a front, in the Drawing left cartridge section 2a is identical to the inside diameter of barrel 1.
- An in the drawing to the right of the front chamber section 2a lying middle cartridge bearing section 2b a larger inner diameter than the front chamber section 2a, and one in the drawing to the right of middle cartridge bearing section 2b lying rear Cartridge bearing section 2c has a larger inner diameter than the middle cartridge bearing section 2b.
- the inside diameter barrel 1 and the front chamber section 2a correspond to the outer diameter of a Bullet at the front end of the cartridge 3.
- a locking piece 5 is attached to the cartridge chamber 2.
- the locking piece 5 has a continuous Cavity 6 on.
- An inner wall of a front, in the Drawing left section 5a of the locking piece 5 lies on an outer wall 7 of the middle and rear cartridge bearing section 2b, 2c associated with this.
- a rear cartridge case section on the right in the drawing 4c has one at its rear end Cantilever 4d with a larger outer diameter than the rest rear cartridge case section 4c.
- the outer diameters can also be the same size (not: ) Shown.
- the rear cartridge case section 4c with: the projection 4d is in a hollow cylindrical recess 8a on a front, on the left in the drawing End of a closure head 8b of a closure 8 added.
- the inside diameter of the recess is 8a larger than the diameter of the projection 4d of the rear Cartridge sleeve section 4c.
- Between an annular Inner surface 8c of the recess 8a and an annular The outer surface of the projection 4d is thus a relatively large one Game available.
- the closure 8 points on the closure head 8b in the longitudinal direction extending approaches 8d, which according to FIG. 4th after the same angular sections from the closure head 8b extend outside.
- the approaches 8d each have a plane Outer surfaces 8e and flat side surfaces 8f on extend in an approximately horizontal direction with respect to FIG. 1.
- the approaches 8d of the closure 8 points a rear section 5b of FIG. 1 on the right Locking piece 5 acc. 5 cutouts 5c, so that there is a guide rail between two recesses 5c 5h results.
- the approaches correspond to 8d of the closure head 8 in its cross-sectional shape the recesses 5c of the locking piece 5.
- the recesses 5c and the guide rails 5h run as in FIG. 1 shown from a front end of a rear part 5f of the rear portion 5b of the locking piece 5 longitudinally forward to a rear end a front portion 5g of the rear portion 5b of the Locking piece 5.
- the front part 5g of the rear Section 5b of the locking piece 5 has the shape of a Hollow cylinder.
- the recesses 5c of the rear section 5b of the locking piece 5 extend acc. Fig. 5 after the same Angular sections inside the rear section 5b of the locking piece 5. They each have level Inner surfaces 5e and flat side surfaces 5d. As in Fig. 1 shown taper each opposite Inner surfaces 5e of the recesses 5c cone-like to the front back, and opposite outer surfaces 5i of the guide rails 5h run parallel. An alternative Embodiment, the opposite outer surfaces taper 5i of the guide rails 5h like a cone at the front. The outer surfaces 5i of the guide rails 5h then go flat into the inner surface of the rear part 5f the locking piece over, and the guide rails 5h are triangular in longitudinal section.
- the inner surface of the rear portion 5f of the rear section 5b of the locking piece 5 has the shape of a Cone that tapers from the back to the front.
- the rejuvenation is stronger than the inner surfaces 5e of the recesses 5c or - at the above alternative embodiment - Stronger than with the outer surfaces 5i of the guide rails 5h.
- At a front end of the cutouts 5c is the distance d '' between two opposite ones Inner surfaces 5e of the recesses 5c minimal, and corresponds there the distance d '' according to FIG. 4 between two opposite outer surfaces 8e of the closure head 8, and the inner diameter of an inner wall of the adjacent hollow cylindrical front part 5g of the rear Section 5b of the locking piece 5.
- Closing spring When loading the handgun is by a not shown Closing spring first the closure 8 to the front moved in the direction of the position shown in Fig. 1. The shutter 8 pushes the cartridge 3 forward. Here, the cartridge 3 is raised, with the here illustrated embodiment of the rear cartridge case section 4c of the cartridge 3 finally into the recess 8a of the locking head 8b is inserted. When moving on the cartridge 3 to the front finally touches one Outer wall of the projectile is an inner wall of the rear chamber section 2c, and then an inner wall according to FIG. 1 of the middle chamber section 2b.
- the closure center axis n is therefore still not centered in relation to the running axis m. The same applies to a central axis of the cartridge (not shown).
- the inside diameter of barrel 1 and the front Cartridge bearing section 2a equal to the outer diameter of the bullet of the cartridge 3, the Center axis (not shown) of the cartridge 3 on the Center axis m centered.
- the central axis n of the closure 8 initially not with the running center axis m centered.
- the edge of the closure 8 is then namely on the front part 5g of the rear locking piece section 5b arrived. There, however, as mentioned, the distance d 'between two opposite Outer surfaces 5e of the recesses 5c of the locking piece 5 the distance d '' between two opposite Outer surfaces 8e of the lugs 8d of the closure head 8th.
- the closure 8 is then with a relatively small game with the center of the locking axis centered f further forward guided.
- the cartridge case 4 strikes the cartridge chamber 2 and the front surface 8g of the breech 8 is just before a rear side surface 2d of the rear cartridge chamber section 2c.
- the approaches 8d of the locking head 8b are now in front of the guide rails 5h of the locking piece 5.
- the locking head 8b can then be rotated in a conventional manner, and thereby the locking head 8b with the locking piece 5 and thus also with barrel 1 against displacement be fixed in the longitudinal direction.
