- A packaging machine with at least one workstation (2, 7, 10), which has one set of lower and/or one tools (3, 8, 12), wherein the lower tools (4, 9, 11) are vertically displaceable on lifting platforms and the lifting platform includes:a vertically displaceable plate (13) on which the lower tool (4, 9, 11) is mounted,at least one vertical guide (15) for the plate (13),a crankshaft (20),a rod (17), one end (18) of which is connected rotatably about at least one axis to the plate (13), and the other end (19) of which is connected rotatably to the crankshaft (20), anda rotatable drive unit in the form of an electric motor, which drives the crankshaft,
- The packaging machine as cited in claim 1, characterised in that the rod (17) is mounted in the middle of the plate (13).
- The packaging machine as cited in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the crankshaft is supported in a cradle (21, 22) on both the left and the right side.
- The packaging machine as cited in any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the vertical guide (15) is (are) a rod, preferably two rods, and especially four rods.
- The packaging machine as cited in claim 4, characterised in that one cradle (21, 22) each is supported on two rods (15) so as to be vertically displaceable.
- Packaging machines as cited in claim 5, characterised in that each cradle rests on two spring elements (26) in each case.
- The packaging machine as cited in claim 6, characterised in that one spring element (26) is mounted on each rod (15).
- The packaging machine as cited in either of claims 6 or 7, characterised in that the spring elements (26) are elastomer springs.
- The packaging machine as cited in any of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the electric motor is a servomotor.
- The packaging machine as cited in claim 9, characterised in that the motor has a holding torque > 10 Nm.
- The packaging machine as cited in claim 10, characterised in that the angle of rotation of the crankshaft is adjusted such that the tool (4, 9, 11) can only be lowered to a point that ensures that the packaging tray is not damaged as it advances.
- The packaging machine as cited in claim 12, characterised in that when it is lowered, the upper edge of the tool (4, 9, 11) extends no more than 1-10 mm below the lower edge of the packaging tray.
- The packaging machine as cited in any of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the lifting time is no more than 1, preferably no more than 0.5 seconds.
- The packaging machine as cited in any of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that distance (25) is equal to at least half the depth of the packaging tray (6).
- The packaging machine as cited in any of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that it includes means for preventing products from being crushed between the upper and lower tools.
- The packaging machine as cited in claim 15, characterised in that the means is a means for governing the permitted power consumption during upward movement of the lower tool.
