Definitions

  • the invention relates to the field of of a shoe on a gliding board, and concerns particularly a board device intended for snowboarding practice.
  • the device comprises a base and a support element back, the base having a seat that extends between a front end and a rear end in one direction longitudinal device, the base having two edges sides attached to the seat, the edges being connected one to the other side of the rear end of the seat by a hoop, the rear support element being articulated on the base along a substantially transverse axis of articulation of the device.
  • the shoe is retained on the device by example by means of straps.
  • the rear support element which extends in contact with the shoe at the level of the lower leg of a user, usually has a high rigidity for the driving to be precise. Indeed, rigidity significant amount of the rear support element allows a transmission direct driving impulses to the board.
  • a drawback related to this rigidity is that the shocks suffered by the board, while driving, are reflected in the user's leg. This phenomenon is verified during support backward, that is when the user presses with the bottom of leg against the back support element. It follows that the user sometimes feels pain at the bottom of leg.
  • Another device has a base relative to which is articulated a rear support element.
  • the joint is elastic and offers resistance to rotation, which consequently creates a resistance to flexion of the leg.
  • the resistance increases proportionally to the rotation, and vice versa.
  • the resistance is permanent.
  • the device according to this document not allow a very precise conduct of the board, because of the elasticity of the joint.
  • Yet another device also has a base relative to which is articulated a rear support element.
  • the latter includes a part relatively soft bass and a stiffer upper part.
  • a such device offers both a certain comfort and the precision in driving.
  • the invention particularly relates to a restraint device a supple shoe that allows precise riding, and reduces the impact on the lower leg of a shock suffered by the board.
  • a device for retaining a shoe on a gliding board comprises in particular a base for receiving at least a portion of the sole of the boot and a rear support element intended to ensure the rear support of the lower leg, the rear support element being articulated on the base along an axis Y-Y 'substantially cross section of the device, a stop being provided to limit a rotation of the rear support element along the axis Y-Y 'in anteroposterior sense, the position occupied by the element back support when rotation in the anteroposterior direction is maximum being a rear position.
  • the device according to the invention is characterized by the fact that an elastic means is provided for soliciting the element back support in a postero-anterior direction, on a beach reduced, from the rear position.
  • the rigidity of the rear support element When backing down with the lower leg, the rigidity of the rear support element generates a nominal deformation of the elastic medium. This means that for usual support from lower leg on the back support element while driving, the elastic means undergoes a given reversible deformation, and transmits the support of the user to the board.
  • the elastic means plays the role of a shock absorber.
  • One advantage is that driving of the board is more comfortable while being substantially as precise.
  • a device 1 is provided to retain a shoe on a gliding board 2, the shoe not being represented for convenience.
  • the device 1 comprises a base 3 and a support element 4.
  • the base 3 has a seat 5 which extends between a front end 6 and a rear end 7 according to a longitudinal direction L of the device 1.
  • the longitudinal direction L of device 1 is a direction that is substantially the same as the longitudinal direction of the shoe when it is retained on the device 1.
  • the base 3 has a first 8 and a second 9 edges which are provided for retaining the shoe according to a transverse direction of the device 1. It must be understood that the transverse direction is a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L, and substantially parallel to the seat 5.
  • a hoop 10 connects the edges 8, 9 on the end side back 7 of the seat 5.
  • the arch 10 is an edge which is located towards the rear of the device 1 in elevation with respect to the seat 5.
  • the seat 5, the edges 8, 9, and the hoop 10 form a single piece, which makes it possible to manufacture the base 3 according to a simple method.
  • the base 3 can be made with a plastic or metal material introduced into a mold, such as a polyamide reinforced with glass fibers.
  • the base 3 is retained on the board 2 by any known means of the skilled person, such as a disk 11 itself secured to the board 2 by any suitable means.
  • the shoe is detachably retained on the base 3 by means represented in the form of straps 12, 13, which are also well known to those skilled in the art.
  • the straps 12, 13 hold the shoe so that the soleplate is plated on the seat 5, and that the heel is plated on the hoop 10 or located near the latter.
  • the rear support element 4 has a curved portion 14, as well as a first 15 and a second 16 arms located respectively in the extension of the lateral edges 8, 9.
  • the rear support element 4 is hinged to the hoop 10 according to a substantially transverse axis Y-Y 'of the device 1.
  • Y-Y 'axis is oriented in the transverse direction of the device 1.
  • the articulation of the rear support element 4 on the rollbar 10 is realized by means represented in the form of a first 17 and a second 18 screws each oriented substantially along the Y-Y 'axis, which corresponds to a technique well known to those skilled in the art.
  • the first screw 17 is disposed at the first arm 15, and the second screw 18 is disposed at the second arm 16.
  • An adjustable stop 19 limits an articulation movement antero-posterior, along the axis Y-Y ', of the support element rear 4 with respect to the base 3.
  • the articulation movement anteroposterior should be understood as a movement during which an upper end 20 of the support element rear 4 moves away from the front end 6 of the seat 5.
  • a postero-anterior motion is a reverse movement.
  • the stop 19 is visible in section in FIG. 19 presents a toothed sector 21 intended to cooperate with a toothed sector 22 integral with the rear support element 4, way that the stop 19 is reported on the support element back 4 in a selected position.
  • an elastic means is disposed at the of the stop 19, to urge the rear support element 4 in the postero-anterior direction.
  • the solicitation is done on a reduced range from a back position, which is a position occupied by the rear support element 4 when the rotation in the anteroposterior direction is maximal. This phenomenon will be explained after.
  • the elastic means is represented as a shim 25 reported on the stop 19, the wedge 25 being made of a deformable material reversibly.
  • hold 25 can be made to from rubber, polypropylene, silicone, or any other suitable material.
  • the hardness of the constituent material the shim 25 is preferably close to 80 Shore A.
  • the wedge 25 has a lower surface 26 provided for lean on an upper surface 27 of the arch 10, and than an upper surface 28 provided to rely on a lower surface 29 of the abutment 19.
  • the wedge 25 is a one-piece piece that includes a zone of Work 30, as well as a joining zone 31.
  • the working zone 30 is delimited in thickness by the upper surfaces 28 and lower 26, in length by a front surface 32 and a rear surface 33, and in width by a first surface 34 and a second surface 35.
  • the thickness can be between 3 and 12 mm, the length between 8 and 18 mm, and the width between 15 and 50 mm.
  • the work area 30 can be compressed between the stop 19 and the hoop 10.
  • the securing zone 31 is provided to secure the 25 to the abutment 19.
  • the fastening zone 31 is a portion of the wedge 25 projecting from the surface 28.
  • the zone of attachment 31 is similar to a hook which comprises a core 36 and a foot 37.
  • a groove 38 is provided in the stop 19 to accommodate the foot 37 of the hold 25.
  • This groove is defined in particular by an upper surface 39, a lower surface 40, and a bottom 41.
  • the groove 38 is made on a face 42 of the stop 19, a portion of which minus is opposite with the rear support element 4.
  • the assembly of the wedge 25 with the stop 19 is done by snapping of the foot 37 into the groove 38.
  • the foot 37 and the groove 38 have dimensions that allow the retention of the foot 37 in the groove 38.
  • This situation corresponds to a usual position of driving the board 2.
  • the user takes supports backward, in the direction of the arrow, that is by pressing on the rear support element 4 in an anteroposterior direction.
  • the wedge 25 allows a damping of the supports.
  • This case may occur for example at the time of give an impetus to make a jump, on receipt of the jump, by shock of the board 2 on a rock hidden in the snow, or whatever.
  • the extra effort induces a deformation additional temporary hold 25, deformation allowing a dissipation of the energy appeared during the jump or during the shock.
  • the wedge 25 dampens some shocks or pulses.
  • An advantage related to the presence of the hold 25 on the Device 1 is the improvement of driving comfort.
  • the working area 30 of the hold 25 can not to be compressed beyond a certain limit, linked to characteristics of the constituent material of the hold 25.
  • the rear support element 4 is in the rear position previously mentioned.
  • the stop 19 limits the rotation of the rear support element 4 in the anteroposterior direction.
  • the Compression of the work area 30 is done on a beach reduced, that is to say a few millimeters.
  • the element rear support 4 is urged by the constituent material of the wedge 25.
  • the working zone 30 tends to take up the thickness that it has in the absence of solicitation or during usual solicitations.
  • wedge structures and stops intended for the deformable material of the hold to be stressed in tension, in shear, or other.
  • the elastic means is not a wedge deformable but a spring.
  • the spring could be positioned at the same place that hold, or somewhere else.
  • a non-limiting example consists of housing a coil spring in an oblong hole of the stop, so that the stop can move elastically to cushion shocks.
