Definitions
- the invention relates to a holding device according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Non-generic holding devices are from FR 1,275,904 or known from DE-U-296,01,150.
- the proposed Printing cylinders consist of a holding device and the actual hollow and thus sleeve-like, on the holding devices fixable and referred to as a cylinder component cylindrical surface.
- the holding devices each have two conical mounts for the one with the printed motif Cylinder on.
- From DE-C-655,466 is also a non-generic holding device known.
- the proposed impression cylinder has not a massive one either, request a hollow cylinder, whereby this consists of an initially flat, but cylindrically deformed Plate is formed, which if necessary to cylinders with different Diameters can be bent.
- As a holding device for such a cylinder there are two support disks exchangeable to the same desired diameter arranged on a common axis. On them or around them the plate is stretched and cylindrically deformed. If necessary can use the support washers against support washers with a different diameter, by a total of printing cylinders with different diameters to be able to generate.
- CH 377 854 is also a non-generic tensioning device for storing rolls with paper, foils and the like.
- a conical Recording in the form of a clamping cone.
- an anti-twist device is a form fit between the sleeve-shaped roller core and the clamping cone.
- the device of CH 377 854 is only for holding disposable roles provided.
- Deviating from the teaching of FR 1,275,904 are in one special area of printing technology known as "flexo printing” not complete, one-piece printing cylinders with each used their own print motif, but interchangeable Sleeves pushed onto a cylindrical holder made of metal can be.
- each the cylindrical holder made of metal along the entire length of the sleeve extends through the sleeve.
- the cylindrical receptacle provides thus a "permanent pressure cylinder" since it has several sleeves and can therefore be used for several print motifs and. there each sleeve can have the print motif directly, e.g. B. etched or lasered, or they can be a separate outer Cliché layer with the print motif.
- compressed air emerges from the flexographic printing inner cylindrical receptacle and partially extends pushed sleeve so that it is completely on the recording can be postponed.
- the cylindrical holder consists of Metal, its high manufacturing costs and its handling aggravating high weight are disadvantageous.
- a simplification for the user is that when using of shots with the same diameter sleeves different wall thicknesses can be used, so that when using a reduced number of different Record a larger number of sleeves with different Outside diameters can be used.
- the outer diameter is graded cylindrical shots in 10 mm steps are common. in view of a bandwidth of approx. 250 mm to approx. 2,000 mm for the Circumferences of the sleeves, according to the size of the print motifs, is therefore still a comparative feature in flexographic printing stock a large number of pictures.
- This requires a very large investment in the printing companies and especially in the case of the preparatory companies mentioned Manufacturing process: during a print shop possibly on the Processing of print motifs in a limited size range laser engravers and the like can be specialized Companies usually work on the processing of sleeves for aligned the entire range of the sleeve circumferences mentioned.
- the invention has for its object a generic To improve the holding device so that a possible inexpensive holding device handling the recording when changing the recording simplifies the change the sleeves simplified and changing sleeves with different Diameters simplified.
- the invention proposes two instead of one To use receptacles that hold the sleeve between them, taking two or more stages with different diameters.
- thin-walled sleeves which may initially be light are out of round, after mounting on the holder the circular, constant diameter Circumference of the stage is safely centered and received a perfect one round outer contour, with a raw sleeve in favor of a precise one Machinability or, with a finished printing sleeve, in favor of a precise and even print image.
- both shots in on known “opened", that is, moved apart be, with the two receptacles for holding the sleeves then moved to each other again.
- both recordings on a common to arrange physically realized axis, at least on the one of the recordings is mounted longitudinally.
- both recordings on an ideal common Arrange the rotational or longitudinal axis, for. B. by both Shots freely protruding from each of a base are stored, with at least one of the receptacles rotated is.
- the storage of the receptacle in the holding device can be due to the lighter weight of the recording smaller and be made cheaper. Fewer shots need to be stocked as sleeves with different Inner diameters can be used.
- the fourth advantage is that the manufacturing cost are lower for the holding device and in particular the investment costs overall considerably lower for the user than when using conventional holding devices.
- the shots do not cover the entire length of the sleeve can support the risk that when driving the recording the sleeve slips on the receptacle, through a toothing be met between the receptacle and the sleeve, whereby such a toothing in the axial and / or in the radial direction can be provided.
- the lateral surfaces roughen or coat the steps with ease to improve the adhesion with the sleeves.
- the recordings are a maximum of half Have length of pipe to be picked up if both Recordings are inexpensively designed the same.
- the section may the receptacle, which extends into the sleeve, a certain Do not fall below the minimum length, e.g. of the used materials and a possibly used gearing or the ability to rub the surface. Accordingly the number of levels of each recording is limited.
- the step diameter are different from type to type.
- an additional component can be provided in the holding device to make the sleeve quasi two-layer: Namely an inner "support sleeve" on which the actual sleeve, which is to be processed or which has the printing surface, postponed in the known flexographic printing manner can be.
- the support sleeve thus represents the intermediate stages represents the inclusion due to the above Does not have any restrictions.
- the support sleeve can advantageously be stiff, lightweight and hardly be stretchable, e.g. B. from a material such as foamed aluminum , from fiber composite materials or from a Sandwich construction exist while the actual sleeve consist of a more flexible (and possibly heavier) material can, which enables the typical flexographic printing assembly.
- This assembly can either be on the support sleeve, e.g. first for processing the raw sleeve or also on printing machines be provided, the tiered shots and a Have support sleeve.
- the support sleeve has air guide channels for mounting the sleeve on, so that the compressed air from a compressed air generator Support sleeve can be promoted and the typical flexographic printing Sliding on the outer sleeve allows.
- the so created “Total sleeve”, consisting of the actual sleeve and the Support sleeve, can now be handled together in a simple manner and held between shots.
- the support sleeve thus replaces the comparatively considerably heavier and more expensive flexographic cylinders. Even if that Sleeves are not mounted directly on the recordings, but even if you always work with additional support sleeves there are therefore considerable handling advantages.
- the support sleeve reinforces sleeves with a small wall thickness, so that a more stable overall sleeve is created and the damage-free handling of the sleeve is facilitated. In particular, this will fix it on the receptacles enables non-reinforced sleeves to be damaged could: e.g. B.
- the use of the support sleeves considerably simplifies and shortens the handling of the sleeves: Instead of lifting the conventional pressure cylinder with a crane into a special assembly device and opening the sleeve there, the support sleeve can be placed vertically on the floor and connected to a compressed air supply using a quick-release fastener. so that the sleeve can then be "put over”. And instead of inserting the conventional cylinder with the sleeve into the processing or printing machine and adjusting the concentricity and cylindricity, the "total sleeves" created from the sleeve and support sleeve can be mechanically firmly clamped between the receptacles without requiring additional alignments. Overall, as the time for a tube change to 1/5 or 1 / 10th of the conventional time required can be reduced.
- z. B a core of fiber composites or from lightweight material such as foamed Aluminum, or extruded profiles such.
- a cross section through a holding device is purely schematic 1 shown, which serves to hold sleeves 2, wherein the sleeves 2 serve as "pressure sleeves” and this designation concerns the use of the sleeves 2 in the printing industry.
- the sleeve 2 can be ready for use, but it can also to act as a "raw sleeve” that undergoes manufacturing steps to create a ready-to-use pressure sleeve.
- the sleeve 2 is in each case at its two ends a holder 3 pushed on, giving way to several stages 4 with different diameters and with cylindrical Has lateral surfaces.
- Some stages are purely exemplary 4 chamfers are provided which allow the sleeves to be pushed onto the Recordings 3 facilitate, but recordings 3 can also without such chamfers or with chamfers on all stages 4 his.
- Both recordings 3 are rotatably mounted.
- the right shot 3 can with the shaft, the shaft stub indicated is within a plain bearing of the not shown Machine base can be moved axially or together, if necessary the machine base to move the sleeves 2 between the recordings 3 or from the recordings 3 as well as to adjust the distance between the recordings 3 to different lengths of sleeves 2.
- the axial displacement of the receptacle 3 can e.g. pneumatic take place, since the installation of the sleeves is typical for flexographic printing with the help of compressed air.
- a twist-proof mounting of the sleeve 2 on the receptacle 3 is ensured by toothing elements 5, which are in a the sleeve 2 supporting support sleeve 6 extend.
- the gear elements 5 are in the illustrated embodiment purely schematic and purely exemplary as axially parallel shown extending pins provided on the receptacles 3 are. That from the actual sleeve 2 and from the support sleeve 6 formed overall sleeve has 6 corresponding in the support sleeve Bores as corresponding gear elements to pick up the pens. Different from the the wall thicknesses of Sleeve and support sleeve can be very different.
- a thin-walled sleeve mounted on a thick-walled support sleeve be, the larger wall thickness of the support sleeve if necessary, enables the design of gear elements, those in the sleeve may not be due to their small wall thickness can be realized.
- the support sleeve 6 has air guide channels, not shown, via which compressed air is passed to the outer surface of the support sleeve 6 can be, so that the sleeve 2 in a conventional manner can be attached to the support sleeve 6 to the entire sleeve to build. It can be regardless of the material of the support sleeve 6 can be provided, the air duct through pressure-resistant Hoses or tubes, e.g. made of metal or plastic, too form, which are arranged in the wall with thick-walled support sleeves 6 can be, e.g. molded, foamed or laminated, and the thin-walled support sleeves 6 on the inside fixed to the wall, e.g. screwed and / or glued could be. Through holes can each blow the air out the air duct to the outer surface of the support sleeve 6 to lead.
- the air duct through pressure-resistant Hoses or tubes e.g. made of metal or plastic, too form, which are arranged in the wall with thick
- the sleeve 2 is mounted on the support sleeve 6 in one Preparation station before then the sleeve 2 and support sleeve 6 total sleeve formed is held in the device 1. Since the support sleeve 6 made of a lightweight fiber composite material or e.g. consist of a foamed metal material can, the lightweight design and thus the simple, crane-free handling of the entire sleeve mentioned allows.
- the device 1 shown can be in the area of a processing station for producing a pressure sleeve from the sleeve 2 be provided, the sleeve 2 in this case a raw sleeve would represent. Possibly. however, the printing unit can also even with such a device 1 instead of the conventional one Pressure cylinder for receiving the sleeve 2, the sleeve 2 in this case represent a pressure sleeve would.
- the support sleeve 6 shown serves as a type of adapter for receiving the actual sleeve 2, which has the print motif.
- Such adapters can be omitted if the recordings 3 stages 4 with the matching ones for the desired sleeves 2 Have diameters and if the sleeve is secure Stop on the recording 3 takes place, for. B. by a suitable toothing (Positive locking) or by a stability that a firm, non-rotatable clamping (frictional connection) of the sleeve 2 between the recordings 3 allows.
- This stability can be with plastic sleeves z.
- B. can be achieved by fiber reinforcements.
- the frictional connection can also be achieved by the frictionless design of the interacting surfaces on the sleeve and Recording should be improved.
- the individual users different recordings with different Step diameters can be provided.
- Farther can be used as an alternative to the support sleeve shown 6 be provided that the user to use Sleeves 2 with different inner diameters, if necessary comparatively small and light, easy to use Recordings 3 of the device 1 replaced, so that each Recordings 3 can be used using a level 4 have the outer diameter that for the inner diameter the sleeve 2 or support sleeve 6 to be used is.
- air ducts can be used provided in the recordings 3 in a similar manner be as they are from the known, comparatively large Cylinders in the field of flexographic printing are known: there are Air outlet openings on the lateral surfaces of the steps provided to widen the sleeves 2 and slide them on to allow directly on the recordings 3. outlet openings Appropriate valves can be used on unused steps or stoppers can be blocked or closed.
