Definitions
- the invention relates to the technical field of metal fencing composed of panels attached to poles.
- the invention relates more particularly, but not exclusively, to metal fences comprising wire mesh panels, these panels being attached to the posts during the laying of the fence, the attachment of the panels to the posts being such that their malicious disassembly is difficult.
- laminate panels is meant here woven or welded son panels, metal or not, with or without a decorative coating and / or protector, this coating being metallic or polymeric material.
- These lattice panels are conventionally square or rectangular mesh and comprise warp son parallel to the ground and weft son substantially perpendicular to the warp son.
- the document FR-A-2316414 describes lattice support posts, these posts being provided with slots forming comb teeth for hooking, supporting and locking the warp and weft son of the lattice.
- the editing described in the document FR-A-2316414 has many disadvantages.
- the post is unsightly, a vertical slot and a series of circumferential slots being apparent on the rear face of the fence.
- This vertical slot and these circumferential slots allow the water to enter the tubular post, which causes corrosion problems and implies, as specified in the description of this prior document, that the pole is protected internally and externally against corrosion. .
- the presence of slots on the inside of the fence posts can result in injury, especially to the fingers of young children. Turning on the panels when laying the fence requires, in the assembly of the document FR-A-2316414 , the use of hooks and a wrench, the hooks through two radial openings on each pole.
- the document EP-A-0288703 describes a lattice fence in which locking means are attached to the post during assembly of the fence.
- the assembly of the fence implements a large number of spare parts and is long and expensive.
- the shape of the columns does not allow the realization of angles for the fence, except to provide different posts with U-shaped grooves arranged at the desired angle.
- the document EP-A-0443441 discloses a mesh fence in which the posts are provided with two opposed apertured U grooves into which the grid panels are inserted.
- the mounting of the fence involves the forced insertion of fasteners, which is long and expensive.
- the shape of the columns does not allow the realization of angles for the fence, except to provide different posts with U-shaped grooves arranged at the desired angle.
- the document FR-A-2676488 describes a metal fence post for mounting lattice panels, the assembly being of the comb type, similar to that described in the document FR-A-2316414 .
- the framework of the post defines a first portion of trapezoidal section comprising a small base, two inclined side walls and a large base disposed opposite the fence panels in the mounted position.
- the frame of the pole defines a second portion, extending the first portion, the second portion being connected to the first by a connecting wall.
- the post is made by folding a sheet or strip and has a vertical plane of symmetry.
- the post described in the document FR-A-2676488 has many disadvantages.
- the provision of grooves, visible on one side of the posts is unsightly and can cause injury, especially for the fingers of young children.
- the junction between the front and rear portions of the post is made by a plane-to-plane contact of the folded sheet, resulting in the risk of corrosion.
- the junction between the front and rear portions of the post corresponds to a large width, made necessary for the placement of base plates P, inserted into the U-shaped grooves. Because of this large width of the core of the post, the lattice panels are quite far from the large base of the first part, trapezoidal, of the post. It is thus possible, as well as the depositor found it, disassemble the panels by folding, using a tool, the edges of the locking hooks of the side weft son of the panels.
- the invention aims in particular to provide a fence structure with panels assembled to poles, structure in which the assembly means of the panels to the posts are both hidden from view and difficult to access the help of tools, after assembly.
- the invention relates, in a first aspect, to a hollow profiled fence post comprising, when viewed in cross section perpendicular to its direction of slenderness, a first portion A said before, a second portion B said d hooking of the panel and a third portion C said rear, the second part B having two opposite lateral opening grooves, provided with a groove laterally bordered by an angle formed by the folding on itself of the sheet defining the bottom wall throats.
- the first part of the pole has, when seen in cross section, a curved or broken line in line, concave, joining the openings of the grooves and the third part has, when cross-sectional view, a section U-shaped comprising a base and two wings joining this small base to the third sections in angle.
- pole configurations provide a high inertia module and high impact resistance.
- the post is, in one embodiment, produced from a single sheet or strip folded and welded edge to edge. This embodiment further strengthens the post strength.
- the third angled sections include lights capable of allowing the passage of son, including warp fence panel warp son.
- the invention relates, in a second aspect, to fences formed by assembling at least one panel to a post as presented above.
- the panel comprises on its side edge assembly to the pole, a weft thread being housed in the groove of one of the grooves of the post.
- the panel comprises on its side edge assembly of the pole, warp end warp ends, these ends being housed in the groove of one of the grooves of the post.
- front and rear used herein to refer to parts A and C refer to a possible disposition of the post, it being understood that the post may be indifferently placed with its part A facing inwards or towards the post. outside the plot to be fenced.
- part C is the one that is facing the space from which shocks to the fence are most likely to occur. Thus, for example, when the fence is placed along or near a road, part C is turned towards this road.
- part B hooking panels.
- This part B comprises two grooves 1a, 1b with opposite lateral openings, substantially symmetrical with respect to a plane T perpendicular to the plane of the figure 1 . Due to this symmetry, only the groove 1 will now be described in detail.
- the third section comprises a first wing 5a which forms an angle of substantially 90 ° with the second section 3a. So that the second wing 6a of the section 4a delimits, with the first wing 5a and the second section 3a, a groove 7a of U section.
- the first and second sections 2a, 3a of the groove 1a can be obtained by folding a sheet. As it appears in figure 1 this sheet is folded on itself to form the third section 4a angle, so that this angle section has a doubled sheet thickness.
- the first part A presents, in the embodiment of the figure, a concave section in a circular arc 8. It is understood that other sections could be used, in particular in elliptical arc, broken line, arc of circle with flat.
- the side walls 10a, 10b are substantially aligned with the first wings 5a, 5b of the sections 4a, 4b.
- the third part C could have a different section of a trapezium, for example, a section in an arc, elliptical arc, broken line or arc with flat.
- the width L1 of the first portion A, measured perpendicularly to the plant T, is greater than or substantially equal to the distance L2 between the bracketed sections 4a.
- this provision allows to retract the means of assembly of the panels to the posts for an observer looking at the fence on the side of the part A.
- This provision ensures also a blocking of the fence panels against the posts, in case of re-entrant angle for the fence (dashed position for the panel, in figure 8 ).
- the whole of the post has a plane of symmetry with respect to the plane T defined previously.
- the angles of curvature of the post are rounded, the post being devoid of salient edges likely to be dangerous.
- the free edges of the brackets 4a are not accessible, both for the fingers of young children than for a tool, which enhances the security of the fence.
- the pole is obtained, in one embodiment, by folding a sheet welded edge to edge, the weld bead being for example disposed on the section 8 and extending substantially along the plane T.
- edges of the folded sheet are assembled by stapling, riveting, or any other equivalent method.
- the post is obtained by assembling at least two elements, this assembly being obtained by welding, riveting, bolting, latching, or any other equivalent means.
- first part A and the second part B may be provided with complementary assembly means, so that several shapes of parts A may be assembled, as desired, on the front face of the post, allowing the user to obtain different aesthetics for the pole.
- the third part C and the second part B may be provided with complementary assembly means, several pole aesthetics can be obtained.
- Table 1 gives, as an indication, the elastic modulus values around the Z and Y axes of the figure 1 as well as other mechanical characteristics for a post obtained by folding a sheet of steel of thickness 0.98 mm, the post being of width L1 equal to 62.98 mm and depth E equal to 89.98 mm .
- Table 1 Mechanical characteristics of a pole obtained according to the configuration of FIG. 1.
- the pole represented in figure 2 is similar to the one represented in figure 1 for a different thickness / width ratio, the width L1 of the part A being furthermore less than the distance L2 separating the angles 4a, 4b.
- Table 2 gives, as an indication, the values of the mechanical characteristics mentioned in Table 1, for a pole conforming to the figure 2 obtained by folding a steel sheet thickness of 0.98 mm, the post having a width L2 equal to 52.18 mm and a depth E equal to 69.58 mm. ⁇ u> Table 2. Mechanical characteristics of a column obtained according to the configuration of FIG. 2.
- Tables 1 and 2 clearly illustrates the advantages of sizing the figure 1 in terms of mechanical strength.
- the embodiment of the figure 2 can be used for fences lighter and less exposed to shocks.
- the post seen in section in figure 3 is similar to that of the figure 1 , except for the shape of the grooves 1a, 1b.
- the first wing 23a, 23b, the second wing 24a, 24b and the second section 21a, 21b delimit a groove 25a, 25b of U-shaped section opening towards the curved section 20a, 20b.
- the panels represented in Figures 4 to 7 are of the wire mesh type, as defined above. They comprise warp son 30 and weft son 31, arranged in a rectangular mesh in the embodiments shown.
- the panel comprises an extreme lateral weft thread 32 which is inserted during the assembly of the fence in the groove 7a, 7b of the post shown in FIG. figure 1 .
- the third section 4a, 4b angle is provided with lights 33 whose opening L3, measured in the direction of slenderness of the pole, is greater than the diameter D1 of the warp son 30.
- this opening L3 is between 5.5 mm and 7 mm to allow the use of lattice panels made with 4 mm or 5 mm wire.
- the number, distribution and opening of the lights 33 can be adapted, as will be established by those skilled in the art, for different diameters of lattice son, different sizes and lattice mesh shapes.
- the lights 33 are substantially identical and equidistant. In other embodiments, the lights are not equidistant, to allow the establishment of a mesh having a higher density of warp son on a section, for example lower, of the panel. In other embodiments, the lights are not identical openings, to allow the establishment of a lattice having weft son of different diameters, for example larger in the lower part of the panel.
- bent ends 34 of the warp yarns, or bends of attachment can extend upwards or downwards of the panel. It goes without saying that Elbow bends may be provided on all or part of the warp threads of the panel.
- the son portions forming hooking elbow can be obtained by folding the warp son.

- the angle. of the figure 8 illustrates the incoming re-entrant angular sector using a pole conforming to the figure 1 .
- the post according to the invention can be used as an angle post, the panels fixed on either side of this corner post being substantially at 90 ° to each other.
- the hanging lights not opening inside the closed section of the post, this post has a reinforced seal improving its resistance to the environment.
- a cover in polymer or any other material may be mounted, for example by snapping, in the upper part of the pole, as is known per se.
- the profile can be made of stainless steel or galvanized steel, for example less than 2 mm thick, especially close to 1.2 mm.
- the repair pole can be put in place when the fence has been hit on its front or rear side, for example when a vehicle has folded the fence.
- a cover of polymer material 42 or any other material is then mounted, for example by snapping, in the upper part of the replacement pole.
- the figure 10 represents the replacement pole, in three successive states of assembly, seen in cross section.
- a first state ( figure 10a ) the fencing panels are placed on the main body 40, by spacing, according to the arrows F1, wings 10a, 10b of the main body of the replacement pole. This spacing is necessary insofar as the width of the panels, substantially indeformable, is less than the distance between their mounting angles, the fences being mounted in progress.
- a second state ( figure 10b )
- the curved sections 2a, 2b of the main body of the replacement pole are brought together, for example by means of a clamp 43 and the complementary body 41 is slid on the curved sections 2a, 2b.
- the establishment of the replacement pole is little or not detectable, the junction zone between the main body 40 and the complementary body 41 being placed in the hollow of the grooves 1 a, 1 b.
- planes P1 and P2 are defined with reference to two complete posts that would be cut. It is understood that the complementary bodies and main bodies 40, 41 of the repair columns are preferably produced by cutting two separate columns.
- the assembly of the repair pole is made possible by the hollow form of the profile, in its junction zone 44 between the front face and rear face of the pole.
- a C-section piece 50 may be introduced into the grooves of the post, by insertion into the angles 4a, 4b, 22a, 22b.
- This piece 50 form slider for the introduction and maintenance of solid panels 51, for example concrete or wood, these panels being for example deposited below lattice panels.
- This type of assembly allows, unlike the assembly described in the document FR-A-2676488 , to place basement plates substantially in the same plane as the lattice panels hung on the posts.
- the fence thus obtained is more aesthetic.

- a reduced vulnerability to damage and a great difficulty of malicious disassembly;
- improved aesthetics and reduced risk of corrosion;
- Safe use for schools and generally places where young children are likely to be near fences.
The invention aims in particular to provide a fence structure with panels assembled to poles, structure in which the assembly means of the panels to the posts are both hidden from view and difficult to access the help of tools, after assembly.
For these purposes, the invention relates, in a first aspect, to a hollow profiled fence post comprising, when viewed in cross section perpendicular to its direction of slenderness, a first portion A said before, a second portion B said d hooking of the panel and a third portion C said rear, the second part B having two opposite lateral opening grooves, provided with a groove laterally bordered by an angle formed by the folding on itself of the sheet defining the bottom wall throats.
- une première section sensiblement rectiligne ;
- une deuxième section courbe ;
- a first substantially rectilinear section;
- a second curved section;
- a third section forming said angle, this third section comprising a first wing, substantially perpendicular to the second section, and a second wing substantially perpendicular to the first wing.
- une première section courbe ;
- une deuxième section sensiblement rectiligne ;
- a first curved section;
- a second substantially rectilinear section;
- a third section in L, forming said angle, this L-shaped section comprising a first wing, substantially perpendicular to the second section, and a second wing substantially perpendicular to the first wing.
The formation of a bracket by folding on itself of the sheet defining the bottom wall of the grooves gives improved rigidity to this bracket which can not be easily bent using a tool, especially as the groove has a reduced opening leaving little room for the passage of tools.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the first part of the pole has, when seen in cross section, a curved or broken line in line, concave, joining the openings of the grooves and the third part has, when cross-sectional view, a section U-shaped comprising a base and two wings joining this small base to the third sections in angle.
Suivant diverses réalisations particulières :
- la base est sensiblement plane et de largeur inférieure à la distance L2 séparant les cornières, les deux ailes de la troisième partie n'étant pas parallèles entre elles ;
- la largeur L1 de la première partie est supérieure ou sensiblement égale à la distance séparant les cornières ;
- the base is substantially flat and of width less than the distance L2 separating the angles, the two wings of the third part not being parallel to each other;
- the width L1 of the first part is greater than or substantially equal to the distance separating the angles;
- the post has a plane of symmetry T on both sides of which open the two grooves.
These pole configurations provide a high inertia module and high impact resistance.
The post is, in one embodiment, produced from a single sheet or strip folded and welded edge to edge. This embodiment further strengthens the post strength.
The third angled sections include lights capable of allowing the passage of son, including warp fence panel warp son.
The invention relates, in a second aspect, to fences formed by assembling at least one panel to a post as presented above.
In one embodiment, the panel comprises on its side edge assembly to the pole, a weft thread being housed in the groove of one of the grooves of the post.
In another embodiment, the panel comprises on its side edge assembly of the pole, warp end warp ends, these ends being housed in the groove of one of the grooves of the post.

- a third part C, called back.
The terms "front" and "rear" used herein to refer to parts A and C refer to a possible disposition of the post, it being understood that the post may be indifferently placed with its part A facing inwards or towards the post. outside the plot to be fenced.
In a preferred embodiment, part C is the one that is facing the space from which shocks to the fence are most likely to occur. Thus, for example, when the fence is placed along or near a road, part C is turned towards this road.

We now describe the first part A and the third part C of the post.
La largeur L1 de la première partie A, mesurée perpendiculairement au plant T, est supérieure ou sensiblement égale à la distance L2 séparant les sections en cornière 4a.The width L1 of the first portion A, measured perpendicularly to the plant T, is greater than or substantially equal to the distance L2 between the bracketed

In other embodiments, the edges of the folded sheet are assembled by stapling, riveting, or any other equivalent method.
In other embodiments, the post is obtained by assembling at least two elements, this assembly being obtained by welding, riveting, bolting, latching, or any other equivalent means.
Thus, for example, the first part A and the second part B may be provided with complementary assembly means, so that several shapes of parts A may be assembled, as desired, on the front face of the post, allowing the user to obtain different aesthetics for the pole.
Similarly, the third part C and the second part B may be provided with complementary assembly means, several pole aesthetics can be obtained.

For example, this opening L3 is between 5.5 mm and 7 mm to allow the use of lattice panels made with 4 mm or 5 mm wire.
Of course, the number, distribution and opening of the
In the embodiments shown, the

It goes without saying that Elbow bends may be provided on all or part of the warp threads of the panel.

The
- firstly, the
free end edge 35 of the angles is made less accessible, because placed inside a groove opening e reduced; - assuming that a malicious operator is able to twist the double sheet thickness of each of the angle arms, reducing the opening e, it will be difficult for him to pull the edge of the panel of the groove which he closed the opening .
Le poteau selon l'invention présente d'autres avantages.The pole according to the invention has other advantages.
The panels can be installed quickly and easily and without any accessories. The post has high impact resistance and high inertia.
The aesthetics of the fence is improved, compared to previous fixtures, in particular because the panels can be hung substantially midway between the front and rear edges of the pole.
The risk of injury is eliminated for young children, the pole has no sharp corners and the

The post according to the invention can be used as an angle post, the panels fixed on either side of this corner post being substantially at 90 ° to each other.
A possible impact on a fence panel, on the outer side, can not cause its stall.
The hanging lights not opening inside the closed section of the post, this post has a reinforced seal improving its resistance to the environment. A cover in polymer or any other material may be mounted, for example by snapping, in the upper part of the pole, as is known per se.
Le profilé peut être réalisé en acier inoxydable ou en acier galvanisé, par exemple d'épaisseur inférieure à 2 mm, notamment voisine de 1,2 mm.The profile can be made of stainless steel or galvanized steel, for example less than 2 mm thick, especially close to 1.2 mm.
The repair pole can be put in place when the fence has been hit on its front or rear side, for example when a vehicle has folded the fence.
- dans une première étape, le poteau endommagé est scié à sa base ;
- les panneaux qui étaient montés sur le poteau endommagé étant généralement eux mêmes endommagés, l'opérateur les remplace par des panneaux neufs ;
Cette première partie 40 forme le corps principal du poteau de remplacement et se présente sous la forme d'un profilé ouvert, correspondant à un poteau tel que représenté enfigures 1 à 3 , coupé selon un plan P1 vertical perpendiculaire au plan T, ce plan P1 s'étendant dans la section B d'assemblage ; - la première partie 40 est écartée suivant les flèches F1 de sorte à permettre la mise en place des panneaux dans les cornières ;
