Abstract

The covering consists of a central U-shaped part (1) bent from a flat section, esp. of metal plate, to enclose the siphon trap. The part is open at the back and has a front main section (2) for connection to two vertical sides (3). An esp. vertical side wing (14) is fastened esp. adjustable to each side, to cover the valves. Each side has slots (11) for moveable holding of fasteners for the wings. The U-shaped part contains a two-part core (4), which clamp e.g. a pipe.
