- the invention relates to a liquid to pasty dishwasher detergent, a method for its manufacture and its use.
- Liquid dishwashing detergents such as those used especially in the area of large-scale commercial consumption, are unsuitable for use in automatic household dishwashing machines in the household area, primarily because of their insufficiently low viscosity and high alkalinity, since these products come with must be labeled "caustic" and therefore pose a great security risk in the household. In addition, retention of the dishwashing liquid in the usual household dosing devices is not guaranteed in most cases.
- the commercially available gel-like or thixotropic dishwashing detergents contain more or less large amounts of alkali silicates, generally in the form of aqueous solutions (water glass), for example in the ratio Na 2 O: SiO 2 of 1: 2 to 1: 3.3, to achieve the desired alkalinity and to serve as anti-corrosion agents for the glaze and decor of porcelain.
- dishwashing detergents with such decorative and glaze protection have the disadvantage that they are on the rest of the dishes, preferably on glasses Deposits of different thicknesses form, which are initially in bright tarnish colors, later in whitish-cloudy, bluish-tinged, sticky toppings and only with extremely strong ones Acids, for example a hydrofluoric acid / sulfuric acid mixture, are removed can.
