Insbesonders kann dieses Strömungsleitgehäuse aus Kunststoff, beispielsweise im Spritzgußverfahren, hergestellt sein. Als Verankerungsteil dient beispielsweise der Motorblock oder der Zylinderkopf einer Brennkraftmaschine, an dem die Kühlwasserpumpe direkt befestigt ist. Auf diese Weise gestaltet sich die Kühlwasserversorgung der Brennkraftmaschine besonders einfach. Da der Lagerteil jedoch direkt mit dem Verankerungsteil, also der Brennkraftmaschine oder einem anderen fixen Bauteil verbunden ist, kann die Lagerung des Pumpenlaufrades in besonders steifer und stabiler Weise erfolgen. Der Lagerteil kann als einfacher Gußteil aus Grauguß oder Aluminiumguß ausgebildet sein, der lediglich in einer einzigen Aufspannung auf einer Drehmaschine zu bearbeiten ist. Die erfindungsgemäße Kühlwasserpumpe besteht aus einem Strömungsleitgehäuse 1, das eine

dem Zylinderblock einer nicht dargestellten Brennkraftmaschine dichtend anzuliegen. Dazu
ist in der Dichtfläche 2 eine Nut 4 ausgebildet, die eine Dichtung 5 aufnimmt. Die erste Dichtfläche
2 umschließt eine Öffnung 6, die in zusammengebautem Zustand eine direkte Strömungsverbindung
der Kühlwasserpumpe mit dem Wassermantel der Brennkraftmaschine bildet.
In dem Strömungsleitgehäuse 1 ist ein Pumpenlaufrad 7 angeordnet, das auf einer Welle 8
befestigt ist. Ein Gleitlagerkörper 9, der mit der Welle 8 verbunden ist, ist drehbar in einem
Lagerteil 10 gelagert. Der Lagerteil 10 besitzt vier Befestigungsbeine 11, 12, 13 und 14, die in
zusammengebautem Zustand das Strömungsleitgehäuse 1 umgreifen. Über Schrauben 15 ist
der Lagerteil 10 an der nicht dargestellten Brennkraftmaschine zu befestigen. Eine O-Ring-Dichtung

Mit der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es möglich, das Strömungsleitgehäuse einer Kühlwasserpumpe einfach und kostengünstig herzustellen.
