Claims (12)

  1. Variable screwing and/or drilling tool (1), comprising a shaft (2) that is rotary-actuated in a manual or mechanical manner, a sleeve-shaped shaft extension (3) that can be joined to the free end (20) of the shaft (2) in a torsionally stiff connection, and at least one tool bit holder (4) that can, on the one hand, be joined to the shaft extension (3) and, on the other hand, to at least one tool bit (5, 5') in a torsionally stiff connection, characterized in that
    the shaft (2), at its free end (20), is designed as a stepped hexagon (21, 22) with, as seen from the free shaft end (20), a first smaller diameter d1 and a second greater diameter d2 adjacent thereto;
    the sleeve-shaped shaft extension (3) comprises a stepped inner hexagon contour (31, 32, 33) with at least two different diameters, with the diameter having the size d1 in a first region (31) of the shaft extension (3) and the size d2 in a second region (32) of the shaft extension (3); and
    the tool bit holder (4) is designed with a hexagon contour (42, 45) both inside and out, with the outer hexagon contour (42) having the diameter size d2 and the inner hexagon contour (45) having a smaller diameter size dB corresponding to the pertinent standards for tool bits, in particular for screwdriver and/or drill bits.
  2. Screwing and/or drilling tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, outside, interacting detent elements (23, 43; 34) are provided at the free shaft end (20) and at the tool bit holder (4) as well as, inside, at the shaft extension (3), with these detent elements being removable by applying pulling force.
  6. Screwing and/or drilling tool according to claim 5, characterized in that the detent elements are, on the one hand, formed by spring-loaded detent balls or detent cams (23, 43) and, on the other hand, by detent recesses (34) having the appropriate contour and being arranged at the appropriate position or that the detent elements are, on the one hand, formed by a resilient buckle and, on the other hand, by a circumferential detent recess having the appropriate contour and being arranged at the appropriate position.
  7. Screwing and/or drilling tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that permanent magnets are provided as catching devices at the free shaft end (20) and/or at the shaft extension (3) and/or at the tool bit holder (4).
  8. Screwing and/or drilling tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sizes d1 and d2 and, if necessary, d3 comply with standard hexagon socket sizes.
  9. Screwing and/or drilling tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shaft (2), at its actuated end (24), comprises a standard contour (25, 25') for being held in a screwdriver quick-action chuck.
  10. Screwing and/or drilling tool according to claim 9, characterized in that the standard contour is a 6.35-mm hexagon (25) with a locking recess or is an SDS shaft (25').
  11. Screwing and/or drilling tool according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the shaft (2), at its actuated end (24), comprises a screwdriver handle (25").
  12. Screwing and/or drilling tool according to claim 11, characterized in that the screwdriver handle (25") comprises a hollow space for the storage of tool bits (5, 5'), that can either be closed or opened.
