Description

La présente invention se rapporte à un instrument d'écriture, notamment un stylo comprenant un carter.
Il existe différents moyens pour conférer au carter d'un stylo, notamment un stylo de luxe, un aspect original et plaisant, destiné à le distinguer d'un stylo banal. Cet aspect original peut être obtenu par les matières utilisées, les formes, la finition de surface, les effets décoratifs, voire des éléments ajoutés.
Dans la recherche décorative destinée aux stylos, on a déjà proposé, dans le brevet EP-A1-0 469 388, un instrument d'écriture comportant à son extrémité un organe mobile qui se déplace lorsqu'un organe d'actionnement du stylo est actionné, et s'écarte comme les pétales d'une fleur, faisant apparaítre un élément décoratif fixe sous-jacent.
Il existe bien d'autres propositions pour donner un aspect décoratif particulier à un stylo, et on peut citer par exemple le brevet FR-A-1 309 159 ou le brevet US-A-4,658,523. Il faut cependant constater que la forme fonctionnelle cylindrique de cet instrument limite fortement la liberté des créateurs, de sorte que les solutions originales dans ce domaine ne sont pas nombreuses ou conduisent à des solutions fantaisistes, telles que celles proposées dans les documents susmentionnés, solutions qui ne répondent pas à ce que l'on attend d'un stylo de luxe notamment, dont les acheteurs peuvent être sensibles à la fantaisie, à condition qu'elle flatte l'image que cet objet peut refléter de leur goût.
On a déjà proposé d'adjoindre un élément décoratif mobile à l'intérieur d'un logement ménagé à l'extrémité d'un stylo dans le brevet US 4,217,712, qui correspond au préambule de la revendication 1. Force est de constater que pour atteindre cet objectif, il a été nécessaire de dénaturer la forme ergonomique du stylo qui est généralement cylindrique avec parfois une zone annulaire de préhension concave. Ce document spécifie d'ailleurs que c'est en donnant une forme conique au corps du stylo qu'il a été possible d'augmenter la surface de son extrémité et d'y incorporer un élément décoratif dans un logement fermé par une paroi transparente. De plus, l'élément décoratif est formé par une bille dont le mouvement est totalement libre dans le logement. Il est évident qu'un tel instrument d'écriture, dont le corps est un cone, est un objet de fantaisie sans aucun rapport avec les stylos de luxe qui doivent avant tout répondre aux exigences ergonomiques, ce qui n'est évidemment pas le cas de la forme conique.
US-A-2 237 883 décrit un dispositif décoratif destiné à se fixer sur l'extrémité d'un crayon, par exemple au moyen d'un bouchon, ce dispositif comportant une capsule transparente creuse généralement cylindrique contenant un objet flottant librement dans de l'huile, cette capsule laissant apparaítre cet objet et une bulle dans des configurations différentes selon l'orientation du crayon.
On a déjà proposé dans le brevet FR 704 214 et dans le brevet GB-2 004 096 de réunir une montre et un stylo en un seul objet en fixant une montre miniature à l'extrémité du capuchon d'un stylo, ou sur l'extrémité agrandie d'un stylo. Cette combinaison de deux objets différents sur un support commun vise essentiellement un but utilitaire.
Une montre comportant un logement situé à l'intérieur de sa boíte dans laquelle un élément décoratif est susceptible de se déplacer dans tous les sens parallèlement à lui-même a été décrite dans le brevet CH 609 517.
Il ressort de ce qui précède que l'on a déjà associé un élément mobile dans un logement ménagé à une extrémité d'un stylo et visible à travers une paroi transparente de ce logement, formant la grande base d'un corps conique. On a proposé de miniaturiser une montre pour lui permettre de s'adapter à l'extrémité d'un stylo et on a ménagé un logement à l'intérieur d'une boíte de montre dans laquelle des éléments décoratifs sont susceptibles de se déplacer parallèlement à eux-mêmes.
Selon le brevet US 4,217,712 susmentionné, on a modifié la forme générale du corps du stylo pour lui donner un aspect de cône. La pointe fait office de pointe d'écriture et la base est aménagée pour contenir un objet décoratif mobile.
Dans le brevet CH 609 517 susmentionné, relatif à une montre, on a réservé un espace correspondant au cadran ou autour du cadran pour y ménager un logement destiné à recevoir des éléments décoratifs mobiles. Il est bien évident que l'enseignement provenant de ce document CH 609 517 n'est en aucun cas transposable à un stylo dont les dimensions, et en particulier le diamètre du corps cylindrique, sont limités par des contraintes ergonomiques, ce qui n'est pas le cas pour une montre, tout au moins dans la même mesure, de sorte qu'il est non seulement pas possible de modifier la forme cylindrique du stylo sans nuire à son esthétique et sa fonctionnalité, mais que le diamètre de ce corps généralement cylindrique ne peut varier que dans une très faible proportion.
Compte tenu de ces contraintes dimensionnelles, on pourrait certes sertir un diamant à une extrémité du corps d'un stylo afin de conférer un aspect de luxe, mais sans effet particulier.
Le but de la présente invention est de donner un aspect décoratif original provenant du scintillement d'un élément mobile, à un instrument d'écriture qui s'intègre bien à la forme du stylo, tout en lui donnant un aspect nouveau par rapport aux stylos classiques.
A cet effet, cette invention a pour objet un instrument d'écriture, notamment un stylo comprenant un carter présentant un logement au moins à une de ses extrémités, dont une paroi externe est transparente, la hauteur de ce logement, entre son fond et ladite paroi externe transparente, étant sensiblement constante, au moins un élément décoratif mobile dont au moins une des dimensions perpendiculaire à ladite hauteur est sensiblement inférieure à la dimension correspondante dudit logement, étant monté mobile à l'intérieur de celui-ci.
Selon l'invention, cet instrument d'écriture est caractérisé en ce que le carter du stylo est de forme générale cylindrique dont le diamètre de chaque extrémité y compris celle présentant le logement n'excède pas le diamètre du corps du carter, et l'élément décoratif comprend une surface latérale, s'étendant dans le sens de la hauteur dudit logement, l'une des extrémités de cet élément décoratif étant conformée pour ne venir en contact avec la paroi adjacente dudit logement que dans une zone située en son centre et former un premier moyen de guidage, tandis que l'autre extrémité est conformée pour venir en contact avec la paroi adjacente dudit logement par le bord de cette surface latérale et former un second moyen de guidage. Un léger jeu est ménagé entre la hauteur dudit logement et la distance axiale séparant ces moyens de guidage, de sorte que le déplacement de cet élément décoratif à l'intérieur dudit logement est limité à un mouvement aléatoire de translation et/ou de rotation autour de ladite zone de contact centrale.
L'intérêt de la solution proposée est de s'adapter parfaitement au stylo et de s'intégrer à sa forme. En particulier, elle permet de ménager le logement dans une pièce séparée, vissée à l'extrémité du capuchon, une telle pièce vissée existant dans la plupart des stylos de prix.
L'utilisation d'une pierre précieuse, par exemple un diamant, comme élément décoratif mobile permet d'accentuer le luxe d'un stylo de qualité, tout en lui conférant un aspect original et inattendu, dû notamment au scintillement de cette pierre précieuse lorsqu'elle se déplace de manière aléatoire en translation et/ou en rotation autour d'elle-même.
Le dessin annexé illustre, schématiquement et à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du stylographe objet de la présente invention.

Le stylo illustré par la Figure 1 comporte un carter en deux parties 1a,1b correspondant respectivement au capuchon et au corps du stylo, qui se vissent ou s'emboítent l'une dans l'autre de façon habituelle.
Une pièce 2, présentant un tronçon cylindrique fileté 3 (Figure 2) et une partie 4 formant l'extrémité du capuchon la, est vissée sur celui-ci à l'opposé de son ouverture recevant le corps du stylo 1b. La portée 2a entre le tronçon fileté 3 et la partie 4 formant l'extrémité du capuchon sert à la fixation d'un anneau Sa solidaire d'une agrafe 5 destinée à la fixation du stylo, au bord d'une poche de veste en particulier.
La partie 4 comporte un logement 6, qui est cylindrique dans cet exemple, centré sur l'axe de révolution du carter 1a,1b, de forme générale cylindrique dont le diamètre des extrémités n'excède pas le diamètre du corps qui, dans cet exemple, est légèrement bombé. Ce logement 6 comporte une ouverture coïncidant avec sa face d'extrémité adjacente à l'extrémité de la partie 4. Cette ouverture est fermée par une glace saphir plate 7 à une face externe bombée fixée au bord de cette ouverture par un joint d'étanchéité 8 parallèlement au fond 6a de ce logement 6.
Comme on le voit sur la Figure 2, la face interne de la glace 7 et le fond 6a sont plats et parallèles, de manière à ce que la hauteur du logement 6 soit constante. Ce logement 6 renferme un élément décoratif mobile constitué, dans cet exemple, par un diamant 9 fixé dans un support 10, par exemple en or ou autre métal précieux. Ce support 10 est conçu pour maintenir le diamant dans une position déterminée et pour lui permettre de se déplacer parallèlement à lui-même à l'intérieur du logement 6 et de tourner sur lui-même. A cet effet, ce support 10 présente, dans cet exemple, la forme d'un cylindre évidé intérieurement pour recevoir le diamant 9. Le fond 10a de ce cylindre, adjacent au fond lisse 6a du logement 6 et constituant une première surface de guidage, est convexe pour réduire le frottement et pour favoriser la rotation du diamant 9 sur lui-même. La paroi latérale du support 10 entoure le diamant 9 et dépasse légèrement le niveau de la face supérieure du diamant afin d'éviter le contact entre ce diamant 9 et la glace saphir 7.
Comme on le voit à la Figure 2, un léger jeu est ménagé entre de bord 10b du support 10 et la glace 7, laissant au support 10 la liberté de se déplacer en translation et en rotation sur lui-même, sans sautillement. Le bord 10b de cette paroi latérale adjacent à la glace saphir 7 constitue une seconde surface de guidage. Ces deux surfaces de guidage garantissent le déplacement de ce support et donc de l'élément décoratif mobile 9, selon un mouvement de translation aléatoire à l'intérieur du logement 6, comme illustré par les flèches à la Figure 3. Ce mouvement de translation aléatoire de l'élément décoratif est accompagné d'une rotation autour de son axe de révolution, ce qui augmente l'effet de scintillement du diamant. En variante, la glace 7 pourrait avoir une surface externe plate, et non-bombée comme illustré par la Figure 2.
Une montre munie de tels éléments décoratifs mobiles 9 et supports 10 est déjà décrite dans le brevet CH-609 517. Ces éléments décoratifs mobiles sont montés dans un logement ménagé entre la glace de montre et une seconde paroi transparente sous-jacente, parallèle à la glace. Grâce aux moyens de guidage, associés au support et coopérant avec ces deux surfaces parallèles transparentes, l'élément décoratif mobile visible à travers la glace de montre peut se déplacer en translation et en rotation, de manière aléatoire. Ce même principe a également été appliqué à des artices de joaillerie de luxe, notamment des pendentifs, des bagues, ainsi qu'à des montures de lunettes de luxe en tant qu'articles de joaillerie, comportant également des éléments décoratifs mobiles entre deux glaces.
Un stylo, de par la forme cylindrique de son carter et par le fait que ce carter ne comporte normalement ni logement ni glace, ne permet pas, sans autre, l'adaptation d'un tel type d'élément décoratif mobile.
Si l'élément décoratif mobile pour montre remonte à vingt ans déjà, force est de constater qu'aucune adaptation au stylo de ce type d'élément décoratif n'a été suggérée jusqu'ici, malgré le succès constant rencontré dans le domaine de la montre de luxe.
On peut imaginer d'autres formes d'éléments décoratifs mobiles ou de support dans lequel ce ou ces éléments sont montés que celle illustrée. On peut avoir par exemple un élément ou un support en forme de coeur, d'étoile, de demi-lune, de boule, portant un ou plusieurs diamants, pour ne citer que quelques variantes possibles.
La surface intérieure de la glace 7 et la surface lisse du fond du logement 6 sont parallèles afin de garantir un déplacement du mobile décoratif selon un mouvement de translation et de rotation, ceci sans usure.
Bien que l'on ait représenté un logement s'ouvrant à une extrémité de l'enveloppe du stylo, on pourrait aussi imaginer un logement annulaire dont la fenêtre transparente serait constituée par une portion transparente de la paroi latérale de l'enveloppe la ou 1b. Dans ce cas, un ou plusieurs éléments décoratifs mobiles 9,10 pourraient être placés dans ce logement annulaire centré sur l'axe longitudinal de l'enveloppe, ces éléments décoratifs étant libres de tourner autour de l'axe longitudinal du carter 1a,1b.
On pourrait également, en variante, fixer la pièce 2 à l'autre extrémité du carter 1b du stylo, voire mettre une pièce 2 à chaque extrémité.
La fixation à vis de cette pièce 2 à une extrémité du carter 1a, 1b du stylo peut être réalisée par l'intermédiaire d'une douille (non-représentée) en un matériau résistant à l'usure, par exemple en métal. Cette douille pourrait elle-même être vissée dans un logement dimensionné à cet effet.
Dans une variante, le logement 6 destiné à contenir le diamant 9 et son support 10 pourrait être ménagé directement dans le carter 1a du stylo, notamment par décolletage.
On pourrait encore fixer la pièce 2 à l'aide de trois vis vissées, soit dans le capuchon 1a à travers trois trous ménagés à travers le fond 6a du logement 6, soit dans le fond 6a depuis l'intérieur du capuchon 1a. La pièce 2 pourrait encore être collée sur le capuchon 1a ou dans un logement ménagé dans celui-ci.

Claims (9)

  1. Instrument d'écriture, notamment stylo, comprenant un carter (1a,1b) présentant un logement (6) au moins à une de ses extrémités, dont une paroi externe (7) est transparente, la hauteur de ce logement (6), entre son fond et ladite paroi externe transparente (7), étant sensiblement constante, au moins un élément décoratif mobile (9,10) dont au moins une des dimensions perpendiculaire à ladite hauteur est sensiblement inférieure à la dimension correspondante dudit logement (6), étant monté mobile à l'intérieur de celui-ci, caractérisé en ce que le carter (1a,1b) du stylo est de forme générale cylindrique dont le diamètre de chaque extrémité y compris celle présentant le logement (6) n'excède pas le diamètre du corps du carter, et l'élément décoratif (9,10) comprend une surface latérale, s'étendant dans le sens de la hauteur dudit logement (6), l'une des extrémités (10a) de cet élément décoratif étant conformée pour ne venir en contact avec la paroi adjacente dudit logement (6) que dans une zone située en son centre et former un premier moyen de guidage, tandis que l'autre extrémité est conformée pour venir en contact avec la paroi adjacente dudit logement (6) par le bord (10b) de cette surface latérale et former un second moyen de guidage, un léger jeu étant ménagé entre la hauteur dudit logement (6) et la distance axiale séparant ces moyens de guidage, de sorte que le déplacement de cet élément décoratif (9,10) à l'intérieur dudit logement est limité à un mouvement aléatoire de translation et/ou de rotation autour de ladite zone de contact centrale.
  2. Instrument d'écriture selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit logement (6) est centré sur l'axe longitudinal dudit carter (1a,1b).
  3. Instrument d'écriture selon les revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que ladite paroi transparente (7) forme une des extrémités axiales dudit carter (1a,1b).
  4. Instrument d'écriture selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite paroi transparente est constituée par une portion axiale dudit carter (1a,1b).
  5. Instrument d'écriture selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ledit élément décoratif (9) est une pierre précieuse montée à l'intérieur d'un support (10).
  6. Instrument d'écriture selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que ledit support (10) présente une surface convexe (10a) constituant une surface de guidage sur le fond dudit logement (6).
  7. Instrument d'écriture selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ledit logement (6) est ménagé dans une pièce rapportée (2) sur ledit carter (1a,1b).
  8. Instrument d'écriture selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que ladite pièce rapportée (2) comporte une partie cylindrique de fixation filetée (3), engagée dans un filetage correspondant ménagé à l'intérieur d'un capuchon de fermeture (1a) de l'instrument d'écriture, la base de cette partie cylindrique (3) présentant une portée (2a), une partie annulaire (5a) d'une agrafe de fixation (5) du stylo étant pincée entre cette portée (2a) et l'extrémité du capuchon.
  9. Pièce rapportée destinée à être fixée au carter d'un instrument d'écriture selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte une partie cylindrique (3) de fixation filetée pour la relier de manière amovible à l'instrument d'écriture, ainsi qu'un logement (6) présentant une ouverture recouverte d'une paroi transparente (7), la hauteur dudit logement (6) entre son fond et ladite paroi transparente (7) étant sensiblement constante, ce logement (6) renfermant au moins un élément décoratif mobile (9) dont au moins une des dimensions perpendiculaire à ladite hauteur est sensiblement inférieure à la dimension correspondante dudit logement (6), cet élément décoratif mobile (9) comprenant deux surfaces de guidage (10a,10b), adjacentes audit fond (6a) respectivement à ladite paroi transparente (7), ces surfaces permettant d'assurer le déplacement aléatoire en translation et en rotation sur lui-même dudit élément décoratif (9) mobile à l'intérieur dudit logement (6).
