Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a socket device for a lamp Vehicle headlights with one arranged on the rear of the reflector Socket ring, with a swiveling U-shaped retaining spring, which for Serves the lamp in the holder ring and the tavern connecting web in a bearing shell facing towards the reflector Projection of the mounting ring is arranged and in the bearing shell contact surfaces of the mounting ring pointing away from the reflector are held.
Such a mounting device for a lamp of a vehicle headlight is known from DE 37 29 984 C1. The one that can be attached to a reflector Socket ring is sleeve-shaped and in the injection molding or Die casting process manufactured. The lamp is from the back of the Headlights inserted into the central opening of the lampholder and lies with its base flange on a contact surface of the mounting ring. On the base flange are the legs of an existing spring wire U-shaped retaining spring under tension and hold the base flange against the bearing surface of the mounting ring. One leg of the U-shaped Retaining spring is longer and engages behind with its free end section the edge of a holding opening made in the mounting ring. The the Leg connecting straight web of the retaining spring is in a bearing shell Projection rotatably arranged. The projection is directed radially inwards and has the bearing shell on the side facing the reflector. To the To be able to remove the bearing shell of the projection is one in the mounting ring additional through opening introduced. The through opening is relative designed large, so that the service life of the Manufacture of the tool used to mount the ring is not downsized. To the Socket ring with the large one used to demould the bearing shell Run through hole stable, it has a relatively large Outside diameter and is sleeve-shaped on its outer edge executed. The mounting ring would have to be even larger for reasons of stability Have external dimensions if a larger one to accommodate the lamp central opening and a larger surface for the Base flange would be necessary. The retaining spring lies with side sections its straight web on contact surfaces facing away from the reflector Setting ring. The web is through the contact surfaces of the mounting ring held radially in the bearing shell. The sections of the Both legs of the retaining spring border on system surfaces facing one another Holding elements of the mounting ring. Because of the latter contact surfaces Retaining spring axially supported to the swivel axis. To assemble the retaining spring the two bars have to be pushed very far together, so that the web connecting the legs bends and into the bearing shell the lead can be used. Such an assembly is cumbersome and time-consuming, since it can only be carried out manually.
The object of the invention is that described in the preamble of claim 1 Socket device for a lamp of a vehicle headlight shape that none to produce the bearing surface for the retaining spring Tool life and reducing the stability of the holder ring additional through opening must be made in the mounting ring, around the mounting ring even with a large central opening or large one Create support surface for the lamp with small external dimensions can. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the pivotable retaining spring with the central portion of a bulge of your Web is arranged in the bearing shell of the projection, which from Socket ring protrudes radially outwards and with the bulge adjacent side sections two facing sides of Lugs of the mounting ring protrudes, each at least one Have contact surface for the two lateral sections of the web. Here the mounting ring on the pivot bearing in the radial direction only with the Bearing shell having projection and the side of the projection protruding lugs protrude beyond the lamp. The assembly of the Retaining spring is simple and can be carried out mechanically, since the retaining spring with the middle section of the bulge of their web only in the bearing shell is to be hung in and after hanging in the spring to away from the reflector swivel facing side of the mounting ring. The to the Bulge of the victory adjacent side sections of the victory lie adjacent to an abutment surface on either side of the protrusion arranged holding approaches. As a result, the retaining spring is included when pivoting the web is held radially to the pivot axis in the bearing shell of the projection.
The retaining spring is locked in the direction of the pivot axis when the facing sides of the two retaining lugs of the mounting ring as Contact surfaces for the leg sections serve to bulge the web. This should be between the bulge of the web and the two There are sufficient slacks in the retaining lugs so that the retaining spring moves easily is pivotable.
In the case of retaining approaches which are small radially to the central axis of the mounting ring Have dimensions, the retaining spring is radial radially to the pivot axis in the bearing shell is held when the socket ring is adjacent to the middle one Section of the bulge of the retaining spring for the two leg sections of the Bulge two directed against the direction of insertion of the lamp Has contact surfaces and the serving for the lateral portions of the web Contact surfaces of the holding approaches from the opposite to the direction of insertion Lamp-directed end faces of the retaining lugs are formed. This allows the dimensions of the retaining lugs radially to the central axis of the mounting ring approximately the radial dimension of the bearing shell Correspond to the lead.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the two holding approaches on the opposite of Direction of insertion of the lamp directed free end portions each one Stop cams for the leg portions of the bulge of the web Have retaining spring. As a result, the retaining spring is not pivotable so far that them with the central portion of their bulge from the bearing shell of the Projection falls out. When mounting the retaining spring are your two Give the bar only a slight squeeze until it hits the stop cam are swung past.
In a particularly advantageous development of the invention, the Retaining lugs together with a central wall with the projection, seen in the direction of insertion of the lamp, a U-shaped bearing for the retaining spring, the projection having the bearing shell on the free The end of the middle wall is formed and the bearing shell with the Overhangs outside of the middle wall, which on the opposite of the Direction of insertion to the lamp facing the contact surfaces for the Has leg portions of the bulge of the web of the retaining spring. The Bearing point for the retaining spring is simple and inexpensive to manufacture.
The two holding approaches are very stable with the mounting ring and stiffen the mounting ring when the two retaining lugs are formed by ribs are that down to the side of the mount ring facing the reflector extend and are molded onto this side.
After pivoting the retaining spring towards the mounting ring, the retaining spring lies with their legs under tension on the lamp and holds the lamp on the frame ring. The retaining spring is with the free end section at least one leg releasably with a holding element of the mounting ring connected. To remove the holding element, the mounting ring is not in additional through opening weakening its stability is necessary if the mounting ring on the opposite of the pivot bearing and the Has an integrally formed holding element, on which the retaining spring with the free end portion of at least one leg is releasably attached.
The mounting ring builds as small as possible radially to its central axis when the Attachments to a support surface of the mounting ring for a base flange adjoin the lamp and the holder ring between the holding element for the Retaining spring and the pivot bearing at least in sections with its radial outward facing outer surface to the outer edge of the base flange runs adjacent to the lamp. The frame ring only protrudes with its Holding approaches, its projection and the bearing shell Holding elements for the retaining spring over the outer edge of the base flange out.

The reflector (1) is in the housing (25) around at least one axis adjustable (not shown). The reflector (1) has in its Vertex area on an opening, which from a collar (28) of the reflector (1) is limited. A collar made of metal is on the collar (28) (2) put on. The mounting ring (2) is made in the die casting process and engages in recesses with projections (29) protruding from its inner surface the collar (28) of the reflector (1). On the collar (28) of the reflector (1) flags, not shown, are attached by the frame ring pass through and are bent radially outwards at their free end to the mounting ring (2) with its lugs (29) in the recesses of the collar (28) of the reflector (1) to hold. This makes the mounting ring (2) exactly Reflecting surface of the reflector (1) aligned and held. The frame ring tapers towards the reflector through a circumferential step (30).
From the back of the headlight through the housing opening (26) a lamp (4) is inserted into the holder ring (2). The lamp (4) has a glass bulb and a base flange resting on the socket ring (23). The base flange (23) consists of sheet metal and is circular. The base flange (23) dips partially into the step (30) of the mounting ring (2) and lies with a thin-walled peripheral edge section on one outer circumferential bearing surface (22) of the mounting ring (2). The Support surface (22) extends to the radially outward Outer surface (24) of the mounting ring (2). The outer surface (24) borders on the outer edge of the base flange (23). The mounting ring (2) is in the Housing opening (26) arranged and from the inside of the housing opening (26) surrounded relatively closely.
The lamp (4) is a U-shaped retaining spring bent from round wire (3) in the mounting ring (2). The U-shaped retaining spring (3) spans on both sides of the base (31) of the lamp (4) the base flange (23) and lies with the middle area of the leg (5) under tension on the Base flange (23). The base flange (23) engages radially outwards directed positioning tab (not shown) in a through Fixing approaches (32) limited recess. As a result, the lamp is against Twisted around its longitudinal axis fixed to the mounting ring (2). The retaining spring (3) has a web (6) connecting the legs (5), which is connected to a Provide bulge (11) opposite to the legs (5) is. The bulge (11) engages with a central section (10) Bearing shell (7) of a projection (8). The projection (8) is with the Outer surface (24) of the mounting ring connected and protrudes radially outwards. The Bearing shell (7) is on the side of the projection (8) facing the reflector arranged. The projection (8) is between two retaining lugs (13) of the Socket ring (2) arranged. The retaining lugs (13) point to the facing sides contact surfaces (14) for the leg portions (15) of the Bulge (11) on. The bulge (11) of the web (6) is with play between the facing contact surfaces (14) of the retaining lugs (13) are arranged. The lateral portions (12) of the web (6) adjoining the bulge (11) protrude beyond the retaining lugs (13). The retaining lugs (13) are from radial to externally directed ribs which extend up to the reflector (1) extend towards the side of the mounting ring (2) and on this side the mounting ring (2) are formed. In the direction of insertion (17) of the lamp (4) seen, the rib-like retaining lugs (13) together with the Projection (8) bearing middle wall (20) has a U-shaped bearing point for the Retaining spring (3). The projection (8) is against the direction of insertion (17) molded side of the middle wall (20) and protrudes with his Bearing shell (7) the radially outward outside of the middle wall (20). The middle wall (20) has one on both sides of the projection (8) counter to the direction of insertion (17) bearing surface (18) for the Leg sections (15) of the bulge (11) of the web (6) of the retaining spring (3) on. The retaining lugs (13) face the opposite direction of insertion (17) facing the contact surfaces (9) for the bulge (11) adjacent lateral sections (12) of the web (6). The middle wall (20) and the rib-like retaining lugs (13) are on the radially outward directed outer surface (24) of the mounting ring and thus adjoin the outer edge of the base flange (23) of the lamp (4). The rib-like Holding lugs (13) protrude against the direction of insertion (17) Bearing shell (7) having projection (8). The retaining lugs (13) instruct the end section pointing against the direction of insertion (17) on the radial outward side each have a stop cam (19) for the Leg sections (15) of the web (6) of the U-shaped retaining spring (3).
The mounting ring (2) points to the bearing of the retaining spring (3) opposite side (2) hook-shaped holding elements (21), the hook are facing each other. The hook-shaped holding elements (21) are on the Outer surface (24) of the mounting ring (2) integrally formed and extend up to the side of the mounting ring (2) which faces the reflector (1). In the hook-shaped holding elements (21) are the free end sections of the holding spring releasably hooked.
When changing the lamp (4), the taverns are out of engagement to release hook-shaped holding elements (21) and against the direction of insertion (17) to pivot. They can go up to the stop cams (19) be pivoted. Thus, the retaining spring (3) is captive with the Socket ring (2) connected. When mounting the retaining spring (3), this is included the middle section (10) of the bulge (11) of its web (6) in the Mount the bearing shell (7) of the projection (8) and with its legs (5) the hook-shaped holding elements (21) of the mounting ring (2) swing. Around the retaining spring (3) with its leg sections (15) of the web (6) past the stop cams (19) of the retaining lugs (13) can, the legs (5) are only slightly pressed together.
