Definitions
- the invention relates to a manhole cover according to the preamble of claim 1.
- manhole covers For covering shafts and similar openings in the floor manhole covers are used that one into the ground built-in frame and a lid that on the The frame lies and can be walked on or run over.
- manhole covers There are high security requirements for such manhole covers to provide, because on the one hand the manhole cover in the On the other hand, it must be able to take high loads when driving over it the cover must also remain when vehicles Drive over it at higher speed and so the lid dynamic, almost impulsive loading.
- Such lids are bulky and expensive.
- Manhole covers are known from US 1,693,190 or 2,535,275 of the type mentioned, in which the bars of Springs are applied to their closed position.
- the Known manhole covers are very complex.
- there would be a corrosion-related spring break a secure closure no longer guarantees what to fatal damage from being lifted up or flung away Cover could result.
- EP-A-0317919 or EP-A-0587971 are manhole covers known according to the preamble of claim 1, at which the latch is arched and in one as well arcuate guide is mounted. Such Arrangement is complex to manufacture. In addition, tend the known arrangements for jamming for longer Service life when dirt in the arcuate gap between the bolt and its leadership seeps in.
- a shaft cover is known from CH 683356 A, at which the bolt is guided linearly and on the inside protruding projection of the shaft frame come into clamping engagement can.
- the known arrangements described above exist the problem that shaking loose and thus upwards hiking the latch is easily possible and during assembly / disassembly the latch can be lost or cumbersome is to be handled.
- the invention has for its object a manhole cover of the type mentioned at the outset, that increased security is achieved in a simple manner.
- An essential point of the invention is that the Bars through all "normal” loads, namely through the Gravity as well as by those occurring when driving over Forces is pushed into its closed position. This will the security of the arrangement is significantly increased.
- the bolt and its guide are preferably designed so that that the actuating end of the bolt in the open position protrudes over the surface of the lid. If in in this case a vehicle over the cover and also over the If the operating end of the bolt moves, it is closed, should it come from any (unlikely) Be basically open.
- the arrangement is, so to speak, "self-locking".
- the angle of inclination of the guide and the Interfaces in such a way on the Friction coefficient of the locking surface or the guide or the bolt adapted that a self-locking of the bolt guaranteed when the cover is lifted off. This is ensures that even with very large, lifting the lid Forces this cannot happen.
- the bolt in the guide by means of a Clamp spring held.
- This is preferably together with the Provide the guide with blocking devices that the Movement of the bolt when moving from the open position limit to the closed position and vice versa.
- the Blocking devices at a first insertion of the Latch in the guide can be overcome by deforming the clamping spring, so that when installing the cover (at the factory) uses the bolt and then captive it with the Lid is connected.
- the locking surface is preferred in a circumferentially limited recess of the Frame arranged.
- the bolt moves when twisted of the lid on a vertical edge of the recess in System, so that the lid at the same time against lifting and also is secured against twisting.
- a round lid is preferably used statically determined arrangement with three, preferably essentially evenly spaced fasteners provided, causing a rattle of the Cover is particularly effectively prevented when driving over it, at the same time the self-adjusting effect of Arrangement according to the invention is suitable.
- the guide is preferably so high above an underside of the lid provided that a (underlying) holder for inserting a seal and / or a damping insert can be attached.
- a (underlying) holder for inserting a seal and / or a damping insert can be attached.
- the bolt and its guide put in In this case there is no "leakage" in the cover, as is the case with the known arrangements described above the case is.
- the damping insert mentioned will in general superfluous, because the self-adjusting effect of latch arrangement according to the invention the lid firmly and rattle-free holds within its scope, but it would be additional attachable to use in special applications Find.
- FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the invention Shaft cover shown in plan view, one in the Floor-mountable frame with the reference number 10 is.
- a cover 20 is accommodated with play, the three bars arranged at angular intervals of 120 ° 30 is secured against the frame 10.
- the Bolt 30 has corresponding recesses, so that a - in Fig. 3 shown - double-T profile is formed.
- the longitudinal axis x the guide 21 (in Fig. 2 with a broken line shown) is opposite one to the surface 26 of the Cover 20 vertical, so vertical when installed Line inclined by an angle of inclination ⁇ .
- the latch 30 also has an engagement end (outside of the cover) 31 and an actuating end 32 opposite this on.
- the actuating end 32 is shaped so that it is in the locked state of the manhole cover essentially extends flush to the surface 26 of the manhole cover 20.
- the bolt 30 is with a Engagement surface 35 equipped at an acute angle runs to the longitudinal axis x of the bolt or its guide.
- the frame 10 has a correspondingly inclined locking surface 12 on that in an undercut forming Recess 11 is arranged in the frame 10, which continues through vertical walls 13 in the circumferential direction of the frame 10 is limited.
- a gap 33 is in the locked state (FIG. 2) between the actuating end 32 of the bolt 30 or one Actuating nose 34 of the bolt 30 formed such that one a suitable tool (for example the blade of a Insert the screwdriver) into the gap 33 and the bolt 30 can pry out of its closed position.
- a suitable tool for example the blade of a Insert the screwdriver
- the latch 30 is, as is particularly the case in FIGS. 3 to 5 can be seen, by means of a spring 40 in the guide 21 held in the lid 20.
- the spring 40 has a front one Hook end 41, with which it in the area of the engagement end 31 of the bolt 30 is secured. This front hook end 41 is opposite a rear support end 42 with which the spring 40 in a correspondingly shaped support groove 36 of the bolt 30 is supported.
- the spring 40 In its central area, the spring 40 has a Rast 43 provided that with an appropriately trained Nose 23 in the guide 21 in the cover 20 engage can.
- the spring 40 is first set to the latch 30 as shown in Fig. 4/5, so that the front hook end 41 and the rear support end 42 the Spring 40 when inserting the bolt 30 in the guide 21 in Keep cover 20 secured against shifting.
- the spring 40 in the direction of the bolt 30th deformed until the nose 23 snaps into the catch 43.
- a withdrawal of the bolt 30 out of the guide 21 is then no longer without special tools (to compress the Spring 40) possible.
- This position is shown in Fig. 4.
- the (factory) inserted latch 30 is therefore only between two positions, the open position (Fig. 4) and the Closed position (Fig. 5) movable and captive with the Cover 20 connected.
- the gap 33 in the recess 11 is through an insertion slope 15 formed. This is carried out in such a way that the lid 20 can then be placed on the frame 10 can, if one (or more) bars 30 in its Closed position (Fig. 5). So positioned Bolt 30 then arrives with its engaging end 31 on the insertion slope 15 so that it is in its open position is pushed back. This way is a flawless one Inserting the lid 20 in the frame 10 also careless operation possible.
- the lower edge of the lid 20 is from a seal holder 24 formed, in which (in the case of day water-tight design) Seal 25 can be used.
- the cover 20 lies with the seal holder 24 or the seal 25 on a support surface 14, which is formed in the lower region of the frame 10 is.
- This seal receptacle 24 can still be a receptacle for fastening a damping insert (additionally or alternatively) be expanded, such a cushioning insert generally not necessary because of the self-locking and tightening effect of the arrangement shown here, in particular by the angle of inclination ⁇ or acute angle of the longitudinal axis x and the engagement surface 35 of the latch 30 or the locking surface 12 of the frame 10 the lid 20 is tightened in the frame 10 so that rattling cannot occur. Every time a vehicle moves over the surface 26 of the lid 20 and also rolls over the actuating end 32 of a bolt, this is (as well as by gravity). Even if, if the spring 40 (preferably made of plastic) destroyed, it would not affect the locking, don't even influence.
- the latch 30 and the Cover 20 (in the area of the guide 21) are used for minimization made of corrosion from the same material.
