Abstract

Verstellung für die wirksame Länge eines Bandes (2), vorzugsweise für das den Kopf umfassende Band (2) eines Schutzhelmes (1) mit einem flachen Schließstück (3) mit einem scheibenförmigen drehbaren Stellmittel (4), wobei das Stellmittel (4) im Schließstück (3) gelagert ist und mit einem Teil seines Umfangs aus dem Gehäuse (21, 36) herausragt sowie mit einer Bandführung (41) im Gehäuse (21, 36) des Schließstücks (3) und mit einem gezahnten Band (13), wobei der oder die Zähne (18, 19) etwa orthogonal zur Bandebene (32) vorstehen, sowie mit einer Spirale (29) oder Teilen davon auf dem Stellmittel (4), wobei der oder die Zähne (18, 19, 33, 34) des in die Bandführung (42) eingeschobenen Bandes (6) in die Spirale (29) eingreifen. Die Spirale (29) ist selbsthemmend ausgelegt und das Schließstück (3) bleibt bei der Verstellung zentrisch zwischen den Bandstücken (6, 13).
