Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Servierwagen zur Bereitstellung von Getränken und Snacks in Seminarräumen, welcher einen auf einem Fahrgestell angeordneten Schrank mit einer Glastür aufweist.
Die Druckschrift US-A-2 585 590 zeigt einen Servierwagen.
Servierwagen der vorstehenden Art werden derzeit in Seminarräumen eingesetzt und sind allgemein bekannt. Die Glastür des Schrankes hat sich dabei als vorteilhaft erwiesen, weil dadurch die in dem Schrank untergebrachten Getränke und Snacks von außen zu erkennen sind. Nachteilig bei solchen Glastüren ist es jedoch, dass man beim Verfahren des Schrankes relativ leicht mit ihr gegen Hindernisse trifft, was zu einem Zerkratzen oder gar zu einer Zerstörung der Glastür führen kann.
Um solche Servierwagen bequem auch durch enge Glastüren fahren zu können, haben sie meist in der Draufsicht eine relativ geringe Größe. Das bringt zwangsläufig den Nachteil mit sich, dass auf dem Servierwagen relativ wenig Platz zum Abstellen von dem Schrank entnommenen Getränken oder Snacks vorhanden ist.
Der Erfindung liegt das Problem zugrunde, einen Servierwagen der eingangs genannten Art so zu gestalten, dass seine Glastür beim Verfahren des Servierwagens vor Beschädigungen möglichst gut geschützt ist und der trotz geringem Stellflächenbedarf möglichst viel Platz zum Abstellen von Getränken oder Snacks bietet.
Dieses Problem wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass der Servierwagen zumindest eine Abstellfläche aufweist, welche um eine an einer Seite des Schrankes angeordnete Vertikalachse aus einer seitlich der Glastür ausgerichteten Stellung in eine vor die Glastür greifende Stellung schwenkbar gehalten ist.
Bei einem solchen Servierwagen hat die schwenkbare Abstellflächen eine Doppelfunktion. In ausgeschwenktem Zustand verlängert sie den Servierwagen seitlich, so dass die Abstellfläche bequem erreichbar ist. Für eine vor dem Servierwagen stehende Person entsteht statt dem Eindruck einer schmalen Säule der Eindruck einer Theke. Im eingeschwenkten Zustand greift die Abstellfläche über die Glastür des Schrankes, so dass sie dann einen Rammschutz bildet, durch den verhindert wird, dass man beim Verfahren des Servierwagens mit der Glastür gegen ein Hindernis stoßen kann. Durch seine Gestaltung kann der Servierwagen zur Selbstbedienung an eine Wand gestellt oder auch frei im Raum als Servicetheke benutzt werden. Der Schrank kann als Kühlschrank ausgebildet sein und eine elektrische Beleuchtung aufweisen, so dass die in ihm untergebrachten Produkte gut sichtbar sind.
Bei Verwendung des Servierwagens als Theke ergeben sich besonders viele Abstellmöglichkeiten, wenn er gemäß einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung mehrere, übereinander angeordnete Abstellflächen aufweist, welche um die Vertikalachse gemeinsam schwenkbar gehalten sind. Weiterhin ist durch diese Gestaltung die Glastür besonders gut geschützt.
Besonders günstig ist es, wenn zu beiden Seiten des Schrankes jeweils eine Ablageflächen tragende Vertikalachse angeordnet ist und wenn die Ablageflächen in ihrer vor die Glastür geschwenkten Stellung mit ihren freien Enden aufeinander weisen. Hierdurch halbiert sich die erforderliche Ausladung der Ablageflächen, so dass sie weniger beansprucht werden. Weiterhin ist es für den optischen Eindruck des Servierwagens und für seine Benutzung bei ausgeschwenkten Ablageflächen vorteilhaft, wenn sich diese auf beiden Seiten des Schrankes befinden.
Der Servierwagen ist besonders kompakt ausgebildet, hat ein gefälliges Aussehen und vermeidet Vorsprünge, an die man sich leicht stoßen oder mit welchen man leicht gegen ein Hindernis fahren kann, wenn gemäß einer anderen Weiterbildung der Erfindung die Ablageflächen in der Draufsicht gesehen kreisbogenförmig ausgebildet sind.
Die Ablageflächen sind besonders stabil gehalten, wenn die übereinander liegenden Ablageflächen nahe ihrer freien Enden miteinander verbunden sind.
Besonders einfach ist diese Verbindung der freien Enden gestaltet, wenn diese jeweils durch einen die Ablageflächen durchdringenden Stab gebildet ist.
Für den Gebrauch in Seminarräumen ist es vorteilhaft, wenn der Schrank die Höhe einer übliche Theke hat und auf seiner oberen Seite eine Abstellplatte aufweist. Dadurch ist der Servierwagen nicht nur ein Mittel zum Transport von Getränken oder Snacks, vielmehr bildet er zugleich eine Theke, an welcher man diese Getränke oder Snacks zu sich nehmen kann.
Der Servierwagen ist besonders bequem zu schieben, wenn gemäß einer anderen Ausgestaltung der Erfindung an zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten der Abstellplatte mit Abstand zu ihrem Rand jeweils eine Reling verläuft.
Falls es erforderlich wird, den Servierwagen über Türschwellen oder Rampen oder gar Treppenstufen zu heben, dann lässt sich das besonders bequem durchführen, wenn an beiden Vertikalachsen unterhalb der Abstellplatte jeweils ein Griff angeordnet ist.
Die Erfindung lässt verschiedene Ausführungsmöglichkeiten zu. Eine davon ist in der Zeichnung schematisch dargestellt und wird nachfolgend beschrieben. Diese zeigt in

Nunmehr wird zunächst unter Bezugnahme auf die Figur 1 der grundsätzliche Aufbau des erfindungsgemäßen Servierwagens beschrieben. Dieser hat auf einem Fahrgestell 1, welches Räder 2 aufweist, einen Schrank 3, der als Kühlschrank ausgebildet ist und an seiner Vorderseite eine Glastür 4 hat. Seine Oberseite wird von einer Abstellplatte 5 abgedeckt, welche an zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten jeweils eine Reling 6, 7 hat, die mit geringem Abstand zum Rand der Abstellplatte 5 verläuft und dazu dient, den Servierwagen bequem schieben zu können.
An beiden Seiten des Schrankes 3 ist jeweils eine Vertikalachse angeordnet, von der in den beiden Figuren jedoch nur eine Vertikalachse 8 zu sehen ist. Diese Vertikalachse 8 haltert ebenso wie die andere, nicht zu sehende Vertikalachse halbkreisförmig ausgebildete, übereinander angeordnete Abstellflächen 9, 10, 11, 12. Die Abstellflächen der nicht zu sehenden Vertikalachse wurden in den beiden Figuren mit 9a, 10a, 11a und 12a positioniert. In Figur 1 greifen die Abstellflächen 9 - 12 und 9a - 12a über die Glastür 4 des Schrankes 3 und schützen diese dadurch. Nahe ihrer freien Enden sind die übereinander liegenden Abstellflächen 9 - 12 und 9a - 12a jeweils durch einen sie durchdringenden, vertikal ausgerichteten Stab 13 verbunden.
Die Figur 1 zeigt zusätzlich an der Vertikalachse etwas oberhalb der halben Höhe des Servierwagens einen Griff 14. Zusammen mit einem entsprechenden Griff an der anderen Vertikalsäule ist es möglich, den Servierwagen relativ bequem über Hindernisse zu heben.
In der in Figur 2 gezeigten Gebrauchsstellung wurden die Abstellflächen 9 - 12 und 9a - 12a von der Glastür 4 weggeschwenkt. Dadurch entsteht ein thekenartiges Gebilde und die Glastür 4 ist frei zu öffnen.

Claims (9)

  1. Servierwagen zur Bereitstellung von Getränken und Snacks in Seminarräumen, welcher einen auf einem Fahrgestell (1) angeordneten Schrank (3) mit einer Glastür (4) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Servierwagen zumindest eine Abstellfläche (9 - 12; 9a - 12a) aufweist, welche um eine an einer Seite des Schrankes (3) angeordnete Vertikalachse (8) aus einer seitlich der Glastür (4) ausgerichteten Stellung in eine vor die Glastür (4) greifende Stellung schwenkbar gehalten ist.
  2. Servierwagen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er mehrere, übereinander angeordnete Abstellflächen (9 - 12; 9a - 12a) aufweist, welche um die Vertikalachse (8) gemeinsam schwenkbar gehalten sind.
  3. Servierwagen nach den Ansprüchen 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zu beiden Seiten des Schrankes (3) jeweils eine zumindest eine Ablagefläche (9 - 12; 9a - 12a) tragende Vertikalachse (8) angeordnet ist und dass die Ablageflächen (9 - 12; 9a - 12a) in ihrer vor die Glastür (4) geschwenkten Stellung mit ihren freien Enden aufeinander weisen.
  4. Servierwagen nach zumindest einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ablageflächen (9 - 12; 9a - 12a) in der Draufsicht gesehen kreisbogenförmig ausgebildet sind.
  5. Servierwagen nach zumindest einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die übereinander liegenden Ablageflächen (9 - 12; 9a - 12a) nahe ihrer freien Enden jeweils miteinander verbunden sind.
  6. Servierwagen nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die freien Enden der Ablageflächen (9 - 12; 9a - 12a) durch einen diese Ablageflächen (9 - 12; 9a - 12a) durchdringenden Stab (13) miteinander verbunden sind.
  7. Servierwagen nach zumindest einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schrank (3) die Höhe einer übliche Theke hat und auf seiner oberen Seite eine Abstellplatte (5) aufweist.
  8. Servierwagen nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten der Abstellplatte (5) mit Abstand zu ihrem Rand jeweils eine Reling (6, 7) verläuft.
  9. Servierwagen nach zumindest einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an beiden Vertikalachsen (8) unterhalb der Abstellplatte (5) jeweils ein Griff (14) angeordnet ist.
