Stepless adjustment of the piston rods is possible in both directions of movement by bringing the control valve 3 into its third position, in which the connecting line 6 is blocked. The pistons are positively locked, if one disregards the possibility of an opposite movement as a result of the connecting lines 1 and 2, but this does not interfere with the intended application. The pressure medium in the piston-side chambers is enclosed on the one hand by the control valve 3 and on the other hand by the piston 13. The pressure medium in the chambers on the piston rod side is enclosed due to the blocking check valve. This provides sufficient security for maintaining the respective position of the pistons, and additional mechanical securing is usually unnecessary.

Claims (3)

  1. A hydraulic control arrangement for at least one double-acting stroke cylinder characterised by a three-way/three-position control valve (3) for actuating the cylinder, an elastic pressure storage device (8) and a check valve (7) which is hydraulically releasable by way of a control connection (9) and which opens when operating pressure is applied at the control connection (9), wherein the piston-side chamber of the stroke cylinder and the control connection (9) of the check valve (7) are connected to the control valve (3) and the rod-side chamber of the stroke cylinder is connected by way of the check valve (7) in the closing direction thereof to the pressure storage device (8).
  2. Use of the hydraulic control arrangement according to claim 1 in an agricultural machine operated on a tractor.
  3. Use of the hydraulic control arrangement according to claim 1 for actuating the pivotal towbar of a loading wagon.
