Definitions
- the invention relates to a sanitary safety device into a water pipe in a cartridge receptacle Recess of a water connection in the area of a coupling or Separation point can be inserted on the mouth side.
- Such a safety device is already known from EP 0 566 813.
- This document discloses a flexible water hose, the hose connection on the mouth side, a recess in which a flow limiter can be used. Because the previously known Water hose already has a flow limiter in its hose connection has on such a limiter in Area of water fittings and mixers are dispensed with wherever affect the structure of these fittings and create difficulties lead in the manufacture, assembly and use can.
- the known flow restrictor is also in connection with one Non-return valve can be used.
- the adjustment of the in the hose connection provided recess to the longitudinal extent of the flow restrictor on the one hand and the backflow preventer on the other sets the functions of the known water hose however firmly.
- the flow restrictor and the backflow preventer must be used cumbersome individually in the hose assembly in the Recess are used, with incorrect assembly and a not insignificant additional effort can be connected.
- the solution to this problem according to the invention consists in the sanitary Security device of the type mentioned in that the sanitary safety device a flow regulator, Flow limiter or similar throttle and at least one Backflow preventer, which in the sanitary safety device to a unit designed as an insert cartridge are summarized.
- the safety device there is a flow regulator or the like with at least one backflow preventer to a cartridge or cartridge Unit summarized, the simple and with little Effort at the coupling or disconnection point of a water pipe is insertable on the mouth side.
- the simple and with little Effort at the coupling or disconnection point of a water pipe is insertable on the mouth side.
- an appropriate Design of the cartridge housing and / or by an appropriate Marking on its peripheral jacket can result in incorrect assembly be counteracted.
- the insert cartridge not only combines the advantages of the one in it summarized components, namely the water saving effect of Flow controller and the backflow stop dirty Domestic water into the mains, especially in the area flexible water hoses, using the backflow preventer. Rather, the cartridge can also be used advantageously there be where due to strongly fluctuating water pressures in the warm or Cold water area a dominant water pressure on the tap and in particular abuts a single lever mixer.
- the flow rate equalized to a maximum per unit of time and that Adjustment and mixing of the desired water temperature easier, is prevented by means of the backflow preventer that due to a dominant water pressure in the hot water area Cold water area of the pipeline network to be crossed and further Damage partly from non-heat-resistant Plastic existing water consumers, for example one Cistern.
- An advantageous embodiment according to the invention provides that the backflow preventer of the cartridge in the direction of flow the flow controller and the flow controller if necessary the front screen is upstream. Because the flow regulator equalized high liter capacities fall behind Flow regulators often have higher flow rates to that in the counterflow downstream check valve can be reduced so that here lower noise-generating Turbulence arises.
- the arrangement of the flow regulator and the backflow preventer in an insert cartridge allows for certain Areas of application only the flow regulator or only the Place backflow preventer in the cartridge without that, for example, another water hose or another Hose connection should be used.
- the flow regulator, the Backflow preventer and, if necessary, also the front screen as separate, possibly also interchangeable functional inserts are formed in a common cartridge housing are arranged.
- Embodiment according to the invention provides that the upstream Front side of the cartridge housing is designed as a front screen is.
- the front screen is in one piece connected to the cartridge housing and can, for example, together can be produced with this as a plastic injection molded part.
- a preferred embodiment according to the invention provides that the supports are offset and preferably arranged as staggered to each other Ring frets are formed. In particular with one in the direction of flow Sit the staggered arrangement of the supports the functional inserts are sufficiently firm in the cartridge housing to also being able to withstand high water pressure.
- the ring seal can be designed, for example, as a sealing ring be between a stop flange of the cartridge housing on the one hand and a muzzle-side end face of a coupling part on the other hand, arranged and underlaid.
- a sealing ring is provided as a ring seal, the sealing ring for example in an annular groove of the outer Cartridge housing shell can be arranged.
- the cartridge housing can be designed with a housing diameter the assembly of the cartridge into the existing one Corner valves or similar coupling points allowed. Prefers However, a further development according to the invention, in which a especially opposite the corner valve downstream coupling part on the mouth side, a recess designed as a cartridge receptacle Has.
- the cartridge can withstand high water pressures, it is advantageous if at the upstream end region of the Cartridge housing an insertion stop is provided, which the muzzle-side end face of the coupling part.
- the Insert cartridge can thus in the recess of the coupling part to be inserted up to its insertion stop and then the water pipe by screwing the on the coupling or Disconnect the coupling parts provided again.
- the easy handling and especially the easy removal of the Insert cartridge is favored if on the peripheral edge or Circumferential jacket of the preferably designed as an annular flange Insertion stop a point of attack for a tool, one Fingernail or the like is provided and if the especially designed as an annular groove-shaped shoulder expediently through the mouth-side end face a coupling part is limited.
- the especially designed as an annular groove-shaped shoulder expediently through the mouth-side end face a coupling part is limited.
- the insert cartridge is in the area a flexible water pipe is provided, such as a shower head or similar flexible water outlet is connected upstream.
- a preferred development according to the invention provides that the cartridge housing in the designed as a cartridge holder Recess of the coupling part detachable, but held captive is. Because the cartridge housing is detachably held in the cartridge holder it can be removed or replaced if necessary. Due to the captive hold of the cartridge housing in the Cartridge holder also ensures that the Insert cartridge is not accidentally lost during assembly and cannot perform the intended functions.
- the Cartridge housing preferably on both sides at a distance from the A holding device is provided in the housing ends, which Holding device with a counter bracket on the inner wall of the Recess cooperates and if that between the holding device and the counter bracket caused by a rotation and / or tractive force can be overcome.
- the holding device can for example as one on the peripheral jacket of the cartridge housing provided external thread section to be formed with a Internal thread section cooperates on the inner wall of the recess.
- a particularly simple and advantageous embodiment according to the invention provides that the holding device or the counter-holder is formed by at least one holding cam is that cooperates with at least one retaining lug and that the Retaining cam and / or the retaining lug formed annular all around is.
- the cartridge housing first be pushed out of the recess until the holding device strikes the counter bracket.
- a preferably defined tensile force and / or by a rotational movement of the cartridge housing relative to the coupling part can be detachable Connection between these parts then overcome and that Cartridge housing finally removed from the cartridge holder become.
- the cartridge is captive in the cartridge case is held, this can be easily and without major if necessary Effort can be removed and replaced.
- a between the outer jacket of the Cartridge housing on the one hand and the inner pipe wall of the Water pipe on the other hand provided ring seal possibly the easy displacement of the cartridge housing in the cartridge holder hinder. It can therefore be advantageous here if that Cartridge housing can be inserted into the recess up to a stop and if the cartridge housing is preferably one in particular has annular sealing edge, which sealing edge in approximately one plane ends with the upstream end of the coupling part. In this embodiment, the can between the cartridge housing and the space provided for the cartridge holder, for example by one at the inlet edge of the coupling part adjacent and in the radial direction to the sealing edge of the Cartridge housing extending sealing ring are sealed.
- FIGs 1 and 2 is a flow controller 2 in two shown different versions of a rubber ring 4 or the like has an elastomeric component which clear cross section of the flow regulator 2 and thus its Liter capacity per unit of time depending on the water pressure regulates a defined maximum value.

- the hose connection is used here 7 as a coupling part for coupling the water hose 6 to one Coupling or interposed in the water pipe Separation point.
- the insert cartridge 1 has a cross section approximately on the inflow side W-shaped attachment sieve 8, which possibly in the water flow contained dirt particles from the flow regulator 2 and the backflow preventer 3 and so far their undisturbed Function.
- the cartridge housings 9 in FIGS. 1 and 2 each point to this at least one support designed as a collar or shoulder 10 on which on the inside wall of the housing in the area of the outflow End area is provided.
- the flow regulator 2, the backflow preventer 3 and that Auxiliary sieve 8 are of common construction, although they also differ be formed by the embodiments shown here can.
- the backflow preventer 3 is the cartridge 1 in the flow direction Pf1 of the flow regulator 2 and the Flow regulator 2 upstream of the strainer 8. Since the Flow controller 2 may also have high liter capacities has to deal with, fall downstream of the flow regulator 2 often higher flow velocities in the in contrast, the outflow-side backflow preventer 3 is reduced in this way can be that the cartridge 1 according to Figure 1 by characterized by lower noise-generating turbulence.
- the flow controller 2 in the flow direction of the backflow preventer 3 and the backflow preventer 3, the front screen 8 upstream.
- This embodiment according to FIG. 2 can then in particular offer if the effort associated with cartridge 1 be kept as low as possible in design and manufacture should.
- that on the valve cone 12 of the backflow preventer 3 provided guide pin 13 if necessary into a core surrounded by the rubber ring 4 Immerse the flow controller 2.
- the cartridge housing 9 is between the outer jacket of the cartridge housing 9 on the one hand and the On the other hand, the inner pipe wall of the water pipe remains Intermediate space 15 sealed by means of at least one ring seal, which here as one at the downstream end area of the cartridge housing 9 provided sealing ring 16 is formed, which is in a outside annular groove 17 of the cartridge housing 9 is located.
