Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Druckwerk mit Kurzfarbwerk
einer Rotationsdruckmaschine gemäß dem Oberbegriff des

Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Druckwerk mit einem Kurzfarbwerk für Direktdruck mittels einer "wasserlosen" Flachdruckplatte zu schaffen.The invention has for its object a printing unit with a short inking unit for direct printing using a to create "waterless" planographic printing plate.
Die mit der Erfindung erzielbaren Vorteile bestehen
insbesondere darin, daß Papierverzug durch Feuchtmittel
nicht auftritt. Da kein Feuchtmittel verwendet wird,
ist eine konstantbleibende, sichere Farbübertragung
gewährleistet.
Der Formzylinder mit der weichen "wasserlosen"
Flachdruckplatte übernimmt die Funktion des sonst
üblichen Gummizylinders, z. B. eine gleichmäßige
Druckkraftübertragung auch bei rauhen Papieren.
Besonders vorteilhaft ist, daß durch Entfallen des
Gummizylinders nur eine Farbübertragungsstelle zwischen
Flachdruckplatte und Bedruckstoff vorhanden ist, wodurch
weniger Rückspaltung und wegquetschen der Druckfarbe
stattfindet. Dadurch können dickere Druckfarbschichten
übertragen werden, die sonst nur bei Tief- oder
Siebdruckverfahren erreicht werden. Außerdem ist das
vorliegende Druckwerk ohne Gummizylinder wesentlich
preiswerter als vergleichbare Offsetdruckwerke.
Besonders vorteilhaft ist die Verwendung eines
farbzonenlosen Kurzfarbwerkes zur Einfärbung
dieser "wasserlosen" Flachdruckplatte, da hierbei
Einstellarbeiten zur Konstanthaltung der Farbübertragung
entfallen, zudem wird der Makulaturanfall minimiert. Der
einfache Aufbau erleichtert die Wartungsarbeiten und die

In Seitengestellen 1 einer Rotationsdruckmaschine ist
ein Druckwerk 2 bestehend aus zwei Formzylindern 3, 4,
wobei der zweite Formzylinder 4 als Gegendruckzylinder
wirkt, gelagert.
Auf den Formzylindern 3, 4 ist jeweils eine "wasserlose"
Flachdruckplatte 6 für den Direktdruck befestigt
(Fig. 1). Diese Flachdruckplatte 6 weist einen Metall- oder
Kunststoffträger 7, eine auf diesen Metallträger 7
aufgebrachte Gummischicht 8, eine auf diese Gummischicht
8 aufgebrachte, fotoempfindliche Harzschicht 9 und eine
auf diese fotoempfindliche Harzschicht 9 aufgetragene
Silikonkautschukschicht 11 auf (Fig. 2). Durch bekannte
Verfahren wird die Flachdruckplatte 6 so verändert,
daß die fotoempfindliche Harzschicht 9 farbannehmende,
druckende Bereiche 12 und die Silikonkautschukschicht
11 farbabweisende, nichtdruckende Bereiche 13
bildet. Die weiche Gummischicht 8 entspricht einem
Offsetdruckgummituch. Zwischen den Formzylindern 3,
4 wird ein Bedruckstoff 14, beispielsweise eine
Papierbahn, direkt von der jeweiligen "wasserlosen"
Flachdruckplatte 6 bedruckt.A
A "waterless"
Mit dieser Flachdruckplatte 6 wirkt ein Kurzfarbwerk 16
bestehend aus einer strukturierten Farbübertragungswalze
17 und einer Rakeleinrichtung 18 zusammen, das der
Flachdruckplatte 6 Druckfarbe 19 zuführt. Als Druckfarbe
19 wird eine für den "wasserlosen" Flachdruck geeignete,
mit Trennmittel 21, beispielsweise Silikonöl oder mit
Silikon modifizierte Harze, versetzte Druckfarbe 19
verwendet.A
Die Farbübertragungswalze 17 besteht aus einem
Stahlkern 22, welcher Lagerzapfen aufweisen kann.
Dieser Stahlkern 22 ist am Umfang mit einer
Beschichtung 23 aus verschleißfestem, beispielsweise
hartkeramischen Material versehen, die z. B. im
Spritzverfahren aufgetragen wird. Diese Beschichtung
23 wird strukturiert, indem beispielsweise mittels
Laserverfahren Vertiefungen 24, z. B. Näpfchen oder
Rillen, eingraviert werden. Zwischen diesen Vertiefungen
24 ergeben sich Stege 26, die sich beispielsweise
schneiden können oder auch annähernd parallel verlaufen
können. Diese Stege 26 bestehen aus verschleißfestem,
hartkeramischem Material und weisen eine hohe Affinität
zu dem Trennmittel 21 auf, weswegen als hartkeramisches
Material beispielsweise Siliziumoxid, Aluminiumoxid oder
Chromoxid, das mit Silikonöl getränkt oder in das
Silikongummi bzw. Fluorsilikongummi eingelagert wurde,
verwendet wird.
Die Vertiefungen 24 sind mit einer farbfreundlichen
Beschichtung 27, beispielsweise einer
Chinondiazid - Polymersubstanz, ausgekleidet (Fig. 3).The

Mittels der Rakeleinrichtung 18 wird der strukturierten
Farbübertragungswalze 17 die mit Trennmittel
21 versetzte Druckfarbe 19 zugeführt. Diese
Farbübertragungswalze 17 gibt die Druckfarbe 19 direkt
an die Flachdruckplatte 6 weiter, welche die druckenden
Bereiche 12 der Flachdruckplatte 6 mit Druckfarbe
19 einfärbt, während der Trennmittelanteil der
Druckfarbe 19 an die nichtdruckenden Bereiche 13 der
Flachdruckplatte 6 weitergegeben wird.Using the

So können beispielsweise bei einem Kurzfarbwerk 28

Formzylinder 3 und strukturierter Farbübertragungswalze
17 Druckfarbe 19 übertragen. Hierbei ist die an
die strukturierte Farbübertragungswalze 17 anliegende
Farbübertragungswalze 29 mit einer weichen Beschichtung
32 versehen, während die die Flachdruckplatte
6 und Farbübertragungswalze 29 berührende
Farbübertragungswalze 31 eine harte Beschichtung 33
aufweist (Fig. 4).Between
In einer dritten Ausführungsvariante eines
Kurzfarbwerkes 34 (Fig. 5) sind zwei
Farbübertragungswalzen 36, 37 angeordnet, die
jeweils die "wasserlose" Flachdruckplatte 6
und die strukturierte Farbübertragungswalze 17
berühren. Die erste Farbübertragungswalze 36 weist
eine weiche, farbfreundliche Beschichtung 38 und
die zweite Farbübertragungswalze 37 eine weiche,
trennmittelfreundliche Beschichtung 39, beispielsweise

Claims (5)
- Printing unit (2) with short inking system (16; 28; 34) of a rotary printing machine, characterized in that a "waterless" planographic printing plate (6) fastened to a forme cylinder (3; 4) is arranged to print a printing material (14) directly and in that a short inking system (16; 28; 34), comprising at least one patterned ink transfer roller (17) and a doctor device (18), cooperates with this "waterless" planographic printing plate (6), in that a second forme cylinder (4) fitted with a "waterless" planographic printing plate (6) is provided as impression cylinder.
