Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method of operation a card, in which the finish in the licker-in one collection box is collected and several On the circumference of the card's master cylinder Vacuum is applied. Furthermore, the present invention with a suction device for Performing this procedure. Such a procedure or such a device is the card C 50 Applicant realized.
- This card is according to the European patent application EP-A-O 340 458 or a further development thereof EP-A-O 583 219 A1 representing the patent application.
- a special feature of this card is that one side of the card a housing can be attached, which the Carries manifold, which includes inlet openings, which with pipe openings, which on the circumference of the Drum, i.e. of the drum on one end face are arranged, aligned. In this way the via the suction line of the central suction in the Manifold generated a corresponding negative pressure Suction effect on those served by the pipes Cleaning points formed suction points of the card.
- the cover circulation points serve for the step roller and in the pre- and post-carding zone, with additional suction systems, particularly in the lid area can be present, for example for the suction of the The main cleaning of the resulting dirt.
- Suction points can also be called "Trex systems" be trained, which are known and in themselves certain places around the card's master cylinder , for example in the postcarding zone.
- What is essential in the present invention is not that Number or exact positioning of each Suction points, but only that a manifold for the suction of various cleaning points around the Master cylinder of the card is provided around.
- EP-A-0 340 458 and EP-A-0 583 219 are particularly important for the earlier ones mentioned at the beginning European patent applications by the present applicant, i.e. European patent application EP-A-0 340 458 and EP-A-0 583 219.
- EP-A-0 583 219 is the preferred one Execution from that the removable housing with the Air collection device by means of a pivotable Lanyard with the fixed housing of the card or Blowroom machine is connected.
- the present invention preferably also makes of a removable housing that uses the Air manifold includes, but is not limited to, such removable housing is limited and can be shared with others Card designs are used.
- the exit in the licker-in area is not constantly removed, but falls into one below the licker-in Collection box and is periodically removed from it.
- it is not necessary to be permanent Suction in the licker area to apply what the has the particular advantage that less at this point Good fibers are lost i.e. the proportion of good fibers in the Licker drop is reduced.
- intermittent Emptying the collection box is thus a suction effect in the The area of the pioneer only for an extremely short time limited, which no longer has any significant influence on the Loss of good fibers.
- the present invention lies Task based on a method or a suction device of the type mentioned in the introduction, with the low Effort and with constructively simple means, one intermittent emptying of the licker exit from the Licker-in collection box and permanent suction at the Suction points around the card's master cylinder will, and without losing unnecessarily many good fibers and preferably without the card being accessible affect.
- the suction of the lower part of the card is a Collect the waste falling on the floor.
- the upper carding area includes selective suction points, such as one suction point above the breeze and above the customer roller, the suction of the outlet from the revolving cover unit and suction at the card exit.
- the task is accomplished by a method or a device according to the features of claims 1 and 2 solved.
- the stands out Suction device preferably characterized in that the Transfer line leads from the collecting box to the collecting line and the valve in the area of the confluence of the Transfer line is located in the collecting line and between the position closing the transfer line and one outlet in the manifold into the manifold transferring and a negative pressure to the Maintaining cleaning areas at least in part Position is temporarily reversible.
- a connection between the Collection box for the licker-in outlet and the collecting line for the permanent suction of the different places around the Circumference of the master cylinder, i.e. of the carding drum made a transfer line, so that in the Extraction line of the central extraction system Negative pressure that also prevails in the manifold for Suction of the collection box when the Valve can be exploited.
- the valve is like this designed that in the operating position in which the Licker outlet is suctioned off via the transfer line, the Negative pressure in the manifold still on the Cleaning points around the card's master cylinder acts so that the suction at these points, if can be maintained with somewhat reduced performance.
- the valve is preferably in the form of a diverter flap trained which in the manifold before the confluence the transfer line is arranged in the collecting line and from an operating position in which the diverter flap The mouth of the transfer line closes into a Suction power between the transfer line and the Common line sharing position is reversible.
- the inventive method or the inventive Suction device simple, reliable and inexpensive too realize.
- To change the flap is one simple pneumatic, hydraulic or electric drive, which has only two positions.
- Preferably in this drive either an adjustable stop or a adjustable connecting rod between the Actuator and the diverter flap for determining the Operating position of the flap provided in the Outlet is sucked out of the licker-in collection box.
- the exact angular position of the Diverter flap can be set empirically, for example with simultaneous measurement of the vacuum conditions in the Manifold immediately adjacent to the suction points around the card's master cylinder so that it is optimal Position, both in terms of emptying the Licker exit as well as with regard to the suction of the provided positions around the card's master cylinder is achieved. Further particularly preferred embodiments of the invention become explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, in which 1 to 3 essentially FIGS. 1 to 3 of EP-A-0 583 219 A1 correspond, but with certain changes to Representation of the present invention and FIGS. 4, 5 and 6 or 7 and 8 two concrete embodiments of the invention represent.
