Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft ein Abgasrückführventil für eine Brennkraftmaschine nach dem Oberbegriff des Hauptanspruchs.
- Ein solches Steuerventil ist z. B. Gegenstand der DE-OS 42 04 434. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß dieses Steuerventil den Druckpulsationen im Ansaug- und Abgassystem von Brennkraftmaschinen, die mittels Turbolader aufgeladen werden, nicht standhält und in besonderen Fällen öffnet, wenn keine Abgasrückführung vorgesehen ist.
- Hiervon ausgehend liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, Maßnahmen aufzufinden, mit denen ein gattungsgemäßes Steuerventil, z. B. für den harten Einsatz bei Turbomotoren geeignet ist.
- Diese Aufgabe ist mit den im Kennzeichen des Patentanspruchs angegebenen Merkmalen gelöst worden.
- Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt und wird nachfolgend mit Angabe erreichbarer Vorteile beschrieben.
- Die Zeichnung zeigt einen Teilschnitt eines erfindungsgemäßen Abgasrückführsteuerventils 1 für Brennkraftmaschinen, das mit einem Steuerventilgehäuse 2 bzw. Anschlußkanälen 3, 4 an das Luftansaugsystem und das Abgassystem einer Brennkraftmaschine anschließbar ist. Das Steuerventilgehäuse 2 ist mit einem Elektromagnetsteller 5 verbunden, der das Steuerventil entgegen der Kraft einer Schließfeder 6 öffnet. Es ist nun vorgesehen, daß eine den Luftanschlußkanal 3 durchragende Ventilstange 7 einen aus einer Stangenführung 8 herausragenden Abschnitt 9 aufweist, dessen Querschnitt 10 in etwa der Ventilschließfläche 11 entspricht, wobei die Stangenführung 8 mit einem anderen Ende 12 in eine Kammer 13 hineinragt, die atmosphärisch belüftet ist.
- Mit dieser Maßnahme wird erreicht, daß der bei Turboladerbetrieb sehr stark schwankende Druck im Luftansaugsystem der BKM ohne Auswirkungen auf die Schließcharakteristik des Steuerventils bleibt, da die Kräfte am Ventil ausgeglichen sind durch die Gegenkraft am aus der Stangenführung 8 herausragenden Abschnitt 9 der Ventilstange 7.
- Mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Abgasrückführsteuerventil liegt eine leicht zu fertigende Einrichtung vor, die für den harten Einsatz, z. B. bei Turbomotoren geeignet ist.
Claims (1)
- Abgasrückführsteuerventil für eine Brennkraftmaschine mit einem Luftanschlußkanal für das Luftzumeßkanalsystem mit einem Abgasanschlußkanal für das Abgaskanalsystem, wobei ein Elektromagnetsteller das Steuerventil entgegen der Kraft einer Schließfeder öffnet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine den Luftanschlußkanal (3) durchragende Ventilstange (7) einen aus einer Stangenführung (8) herausragenden Abschnitt (9) aufweist, dessen Querschnitt (10) in etwa der Ventilschließfläche (11) entspricht, wobei die Stangenführung (8) mit einem anderen Ende (12) in eine Kammer (13) hineinragt, die atmosphärisch belüftet ist.
