Abstract

The disposable tea bag has two flat sections (1, 1') which are pressed together before use. Each section (1, 1') has a stiffening strip (10) at their upper edges (4, 4') extending from one side edge to the other edge (2). Pressure against both sides of the stiffening strip, at the upper edges (4, 4') of the bag, causes each to bend away from the other to be spread apart. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a fillable tea bag. It is known tea bags to be made from non-woven material. There are two types: The tea bags already filled and sealed by the manufacturer for one and the tea bags that can be filled by the user.

The well-known tea bags already filled by the manufacturer according to the state of the art Technology consist of a fleece bag that holds the tea filling. This Bag is closed at its top edge. A thread can be attached to the bag be, on the one facing away from the tea bag, in which a cardboard sign or similar is attached to attach the thread to the snout of the teapot. The tea bag can be let into the hot water using the thread and after the time it takes to "brew" the tea be taken out.

The disadvantage of the known filled tea bags is above all that there is not enough space for the tea leaves it contains. The tea leaves cannot unfold properly, the extraction process is not satisfactorily feasible. For this reason, fillable tea bags proposed that are open at the top and after filling with tea, for example with a clip, temporarily closed. The clip in turn is connected to a chain, which acts as a manipulation aid is effective for the tea bag. With this little chain is the tea bag attachable to a jug or other vessel. After use the fleece tea bag removed from the clip and simply in the trash can or disposed of a rubbish bin intended for rotting waste.

The disadvantage of these known teabags is that they only work with some skill to pour tea and to open up cumbersome, namely with the help of a chain, to be attached to the teapot. The tea bags consist of two two-dimensional blanks that are joined together at their side edges and their lower edge are connected. The top edges are not connected and surrounded the filling opening. They are in the non-use or initial state Upper edges flat together. The edges must form a filler opening grasped with your fingers and pulled apart. This manipulation is not easy for many people because the cuts are very thin and often can only be grasped by moistening the fingers. Another disadvantage of known tea bags consists in the additional manipulation aid necessary Shape of a bracket. This clip must be rinsed off practically after each use otherwise a coating would form on it. This is particularly so disadvantageous if one and the same bracket for pouring different Types of tea, for example flavored fruit teas and black teas becomes. This could affect the taste, that could not only disrupt demanding tea drinkers. If the tea bag is without Simply use a small chain between the can lid and the edge of the can clamped, the portion of tea bag protruding between the lid and the jug sucks full of water, becomes soft and lies on the outside of the jug around. There is a risk that the tea bag like a siphon works and part of the contents of the jug runs out.

From JP-A-50039822 and JP-U-63003335 tea bags are known which consist of two parallel and flat adjacent blanks are formed. The edges of the Blanks are connected on three sides. The not connected The edges are stiffened on the outside. By pressing sideways on these stiffening strips you can easily Way a filling opening can be created.

The object of the invention is to improve the handling of the known tea bags. This object is achieved by the combination of features of claim 1 solved.

The stiffening strips are then attached to the inside of the blanks. While in the known tea bags on the outside there is one over their entire width from the transition of the stiffening strip is present on the cut step, this is avoided according to the invention.

In the subclaims are further advantageous embodiments of an inventive Specified tea bags. The stiffening strip is preferably made made of a rotten material. The easiest to manufacture should be a material connection between the stiffening strip and the blank be. The stiffening strip is on the Attached to the inside of the blanks. The cuts usually point a stabilizing coating. This stabilizing coating serves on the one hand to keep the very thin paper fleece of the tea bags during of the extraction process in hot tea water. On the other hand this coating serves to connect the tea bag blanks to theirs Edges. To do this, the coated blanks are simply placed on top of one another and heated at the edges to be joined. The stabilizing coating consists of a thermoplastic, and in particular of polyethylene. This plastic softens when heated, which welds the two blanks together will. One speaks here generally of "heat sealing". This stabilization layer can now advantageously be used to attach the Stiffening strips can be used. All you have to do is cut the area of the stiffening strip are heated. The softening stabilizing layer connects to the stiffening strip. After cooling is sufficient strength between the stiffening strip and the blanks guaranteed.

According to claim 6, the lower edge of the stiffening area is concave curved at the top. The advantage of this measure is that the Fixing the tea bag in the jug of the curved described above Edge can better adapt to the edge of the jug. Put on the lid this is facilitated during the extraction process. The stiffening area needs to adjust due to the rounding of its bottom edge the can rim is practically not deformed, as is the case with a stiffening area with a straight lower edge would be the case.

The measures according to claim 7 increase the grip area created. The tea bag according to the invention can therefore not only on Stiffening area itself, but grasped by the tab that protrudes from it will. It is also conceivable that the tabs are pulled over the edge of the can and be held with one hand on the outside of the jug. The Infusion water can then be used by less skillful people without the risk of scalding People are poured into the filled tea bag.

Conventional fillable tea bags have an essentially rectangular outline on. The lower edge of the teabag thus runs approximately at a right angle the side edges and connects them together. When removing Tea bags from the jug are first run through a certain amount of liquid the soaked tea leaves captured. This liquid runs in the conventional Tea bags preferably over the from the side edges with the bottom edge formed corners. The remaining liquid runs off very easily on the jug rim or even on the outside of the jug from where they are drain and can get on a table surface. By the measure of claim 9 ensures that the residual liquid in only one Liquid thread runs out. This can be checked and manipulated very easily that it can flow into the center of the can opening. Pollution the jug and the table surface are effectively avoided.

In claims 12 to 14 is an advantageous embodiment of an inventive Specified tea bags. By one from the plane level of the stiffening strip protruding fastening tab in the manner of a barb the tea bag even without the help of a can lid on the edge of the pot or if necessary, attach it to the edge of a cup. Through the Embodiments according to claims 13 and 14 ensure that the fastening tab on the one hand, does not interfere with the packaging of the tea bags, and on the other can only be activated if necessary by using the plane level of the stiffening strip is folded out.

Ausgangszustand flach aneinander an. A tea bag according to the invention is formed by two blanks 1,1 ', which are approximately rectangular in cross section and connected to one another at their side edges 2 and at their lower edge 3 are. When talking here from above and below, it is on the use case Referenced when namely the tea bag on its upper End held and aligned approximately vertically. The upper edges 4 of the blanks 1, 1 'are not connected to one another and are in the non-use or Initial state flat against each other. The on the top edges 4 adjacent areas of the blanks are 10 as stiffening areas trained by reinforcing or stiffening with a stiffening strip 5.5 ' are. These stiffening strips are approximately rectangular in plan and extend practically over the entire width 6 of the blanks or one to the other side margin 2.

The tea bag according to the invention can start from the initial state brought into the state of use as follows, that is, brought into a state in which a filling opening is formed: the stiffening strips 5.5 ' are compressed laterally, thereby reducing the distance between the side edges 2 of the blanks. As a consequence of this the stiffening strips 5.5 'curve concavely outwards and hold them Filling opening free. The tea can then be filled through this filling opening will. The tea bag is then in this state Teapot inserted and hot infusion water poured through the filling opening. After releasing the stiffening strips, they go due to elastic restoring forces back to their original state, by lying flat against each other and closing the filling opening. It can then no more tea can get out of the tea bag. The stiffening strip is then, as shown in Fig.10, arranged on the can edge and a Put the lid on the jug. The tea bag is therefore effective on the Jug attached.

The above-mentioned arrangement of the stiffening strip on the can edge is facilitated, if the lower edge 9 of the stiffening strip when in use is concavely rounded upwards (Fig. 9). He can change the shape adjust the edge of the can better, which makes it easier to put the Can lid results. The top edge of the stiffening strip 5.5 ' can be practically arbitrary, but preferably it is also rounded upwards.

An exemplary embodiment is shown in FIG. The stiffening strip 5.5 'is attached to the inside of the blanks 1,1'. It stretches not over the entire width 6 of the blanks 1, 1 ', but only up to the lateral connecting strip 11, that is to say those areas where the blanks 1,1 'are laterally connected to each other (see also Fig. 5).

Dieser Restflüssigkeitsfaden ist dann sehr leicht manipulierbar.6-8 tea bags according to the invention are shown, in which the Lower edge 3 has an area which is in relation to the in use condition about a vertical longitudinal axis 13 of the tea bag according to FIG has a lower height level. In other words, the lower edge or the bottom of the tea bag is pulled out to a point or it runs at an angle, as shown in Fig.8. The advantage of this embodiment is shown in FIGS. 11 and 11 12 out. 11 and 12 show a situation in which the filled Tea bag is extracted from a teapot after extraction. How can be seen, there is a teabag with approximately perpendicular to their central longitudinal axis 13 running lower edge the risk that residual liquid on the Can reach. The liquid runs preferably through the Side edges 2 formed with the lower edge 3 corners 14. However, if the The lower edge 3 or the bottom of the tea bag is roughly as shown in Fig. 6-8, the residual liquid flows out in a single thread (Fig. 12). This Residual liquid thread can then be manipulated very easily.

The stiffening strip 5,5 'can, as shown in Fig.9, a grip tab 15 exhibit. This grip tab is preferably approximately in the middle of the stiffening strip 5,5 'arranged and extends: like a projection over the upper edge 12 also. The grip tab 15 serves as an additional manipulation aid. In particular, the two tabs on opposite Sides pulled over the edge of the can and with one hand to the outside the jug. The safety distance of the tea bag holding hand to the hot water poured into the jug is thereby further enlarged.
