Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Ruhepodest für eine Mittelholmleiter, deren Mittelholm ein vorne offenes Vierkant- oder C-Profil hat. Das Ruhepodest weist eine Trittfläche auf, die um eine senkrechte, neben der Leiter verlaufende Achse zwischen einer Gebrauchsstellung und einer Wartestellung verschwenkbar ist, wobei in der Gebrauchsstellung die Trittfläche vor den Sprossen der Leiter liegt und in der Wartestellung die Trittfläche zur Seite weggeschwenkt ist. Das Ruhepodest weist ferner eine Einrichtung zum Arretieren der Trittfläche in der Gebrauchsstellung und/oder der Wartestellung auf, wobei die Arretierungseinrichtung eine Betätigungseinrichtung aufweist, die von einem über der Trittfläche stehenden Benutzer zum Lösen der Arretierung mit dem Fuß betätigbar ist.The invention relates to a resting platform for a central spar ladder, the central spar of which has a square or C-profile which is open at the front. Es ist eine Arretiereinrichtung zur Arretierung der Trittfläche 10 in der Gebrauchsstellung vorhanden. Durch eine Anschlagschraube 26 kann die Wartestellung der Trittfläche 10 so justiert werden, daß zwischen der Klinke 22 und der Rastleiste 23 nur ein minimales Spiel besteht. Die Anschlagschraube 26 dreht sich in einem in die Rastleiste 23 eingeschnittenen Gewinde und wird mit einer Mutter 28 gesichert. Der Vierkantstab 24 ist nach oben über die Klinke 22 hinaus verlängert und ist an seinem oberen Ende mit einem quer verlaufenden Griff 27 versehen, der in der Wartestellung der Trittfläche 10 etwa parallel zu den Sprossen 3 verläuft. Hat eine Person beim Besteigen der Leiter 1 die sich in der seitlichen Wartestellung befindliche Trittfläche 10 überschritten, so kann sie mit dem rechten Fuß den Griff 27 etwas nach oben ziehen und dadurch die Klinke 22 soweit anheben, daß die Arretierung der Trittfläche 10 gelöst wird. Die Trittfläche 10 kann dann ebenfalls mit dem rechten Fuß im Uhrzeigersinn von Fig. 1 in die Gebrauchsstellung geschwenkt werden, so daß die Trittfläche 10 an den Mittelholm 2 anschlägt, der Rastbolzen 19 hinter dem Rand der Öffnung 8 einrastet und die beiden Trittverlängerungen 14 auf der Sprosse 3 aufliegen. Claims (3)
- Rest platform for a middle stringer ladder (1) whose middle stringer has a front open square or "C" profile, the rest platform comprising a tread surface (10) which can be swivelled about a vertical axis (5) running adjacent the ladder (1) between an operating position and a rest position so that, in the operating position, the tread surface (10) is located in front of the rungs (3) of the ladder (1) and, in the rest position, the tread surface (10) is swivelled away to the side, and a device for locking the tread surface (10) in the operating position and/or in the rest position, the locking device including an operating mechanism which can be operated by an operator standing over the tread surface (10) with the foot for releasing the locking, characterized in that the locking device for locking the operating position of the tread surface (10) is provided with an angle lever (15) having two lever arms (17, 18) and being articulated below the tread surface (10) so that the first lever arm (17) protrudes outwards with its free end (pedal plate 21) laterally beyond the tread surface (10) so that it can be reached at its free end by the operator with the foot and with a locking bolt (19) being provided at the free end of the second lever arm (18) which, in the rest position of the angle lever (15), engages in the opening (8) of the square or "C" profile and which is released from this opening (8) when the angle lever (15) is swivelled out of its rest position by the operation of the free end (pedal plate 21) of the first lever arm (17).
- Rest platform according to claim 1, characterized in that the locking device is provided with a catch mechanism for locking the rest position of the tread surface (10) with the catch mechanism having a catch (22) which can be operated with the foot.
- Rest platform according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that at least one tread extension (14) protrudes forwards from the tread surface (10) and rests on a rung (3) in the operating position.
