Durch Längsverschiebung des Schiebers 8 in der Bohrung 9 läßt sich der Strömungskanal 4 vollständig versperren, wenn nämlich der Teil 10 des Schiebers 8 mit großem Durchmesser in den Strömungskanal 4 eingeschoben wird. Eine vollständige Öffnung des Strömungskanals 4 erhält man jedoch, wenn der Bereich des Ringraumes 12 in den Strömungskanal 4 eingeschoben wird, bei Zwischenstellungen des Schiebers 8 erhält man eine stufenlose Querschnittsverengung des Strömungskanals 4 zwischen diesen beiden Extremwerten. Die Verschiebung des Schiebers 8 erfolgt dabei einfach durch Verdrehung der Hülse 6 und der mit ihr verbundenen exzentrischen Gleitbahn 7.A
Das vordere Ende 13 der Hülse 6 untergreift eine zylindrische Kappe 14, die drehfest auf dem Strömungskanal 4 gelagert ist und an ihrer Oberseite eine rechteckige Ausnehmung 15 aufweist, in der sich ein durchsichtiges Fenster 16 befindet. Durch dieses Fenster 16 hindurch ist der vordere Teil der unterhalb der Kappe 14 angeordneten Hülse 13 zu sehen, die Hülse 13 trägt in diesem Bereich ein schraubenförmig und konzentrisch zur Drehachse der Hülse 13 auf der Außenseite der Hülse aufgezeichnetes Markierelement 17, das durch das Fenster 16 hindurch sichtbar ist und sich bei Verdrehung der Hülse 6 gegenüber dem Strömungskanal 4 im Mittelbereich des Fensters 16 in Längsrichtung des Strömungskanals 4 verschiebt.The

Damit kann die Bedienungsperson unmittelbar an den beiden Skalen ablesen, wie groß die momentan abgegebene Flüssigkeitsmenge ist und welche Temperatur sie hat. Allein durch Verdrehen der Hülse lassen sich diese Werte in genau zu beobachtender Weise verstellen.
